Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, was honoured with the prestigious Rabindranath Tagore National Award at the Education Excellence Conclave (EEC)  supported by reputed organizations including NSDC and Skill India organised by Ek Updesh Media. The event witnessed the participation of over 400 education leaders from Delhi NCR and nearby regions. She was also a distinguished panelist at the conclave, contributing valuable insights during discussions on innovation and excellence in education.

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, was conferred with the prestigious Skill Bharat Ambassador Award at a ceremony held in Mumbai, organized by OLL. This recognition highlights her pioneering efforts in introducing skill-based education and her instrumental role in establishing the school's Unicorn Cell to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Her dedication to equipping students with essential 21st-century skills continues to set new benchmarks in education.

Global Sustainability Award 2024

Blue Bells Model School has been recognized among India’s Top 10 Schools in the "Legend" category at the Global Sustainability Awards 2024, presented by ARC EdTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The school’s commitment to sustainability was further highlighted through remarkable achievements in educator and student categories. Ms. Manisha Singh received the Silver Award for SDG 6, while students Srishti Sanjay & Deeksha Rana (Grade XI), Shaswat Semwal & Toshit Gandhi (Grade IX), and Harshwardhan Yadav & Amogh Dev Marwaha (Grade VIII) were honoured for their outstanding eco-innovation projects. Under the leadership of Principal Ms. Alka Singh, the school continues to foster eco-conscious changemakers.

ICT Seagulls Project 2024: Championing Social Responsibility

The ICT Seagulls Project 2024, Dr. Madhu Gupta (Project Leader) , Mr Yogesh Sharma (Advisor) and Supporting Leaders (Ms Sanjna Bhasin and Ms Manisha Kumari)  focused on understanding the trauma of war and its impact on martyrs' families. Supported by Principal Alka Singh, the team of nine students and four teachers earned accolades as the Champion Social Responsibility Project and won the Prof. Erol Inelmen Jury Special Award. The project highlighted resilience, grief, and struggles through dedicated efforts across research, communication, and design.

Learning Beyond Classrooms  

The school proudly participated in WWF India's Educator Workshop on 'Chalkboards to Canopies: Lessons from Nature for Imparting Biodiversity Education' held on December 13, 2024, at WWF-India Auditorium, New Delhi. Ms. Manisha Singh and Dr. Anubha Roy attended the workshop and were awarded the Certificates of Achievement. The workshop equipped educators with tools and strategies to integrate biodiversity education into the curriculum, emphasizing conservation and sustainability.

Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4, Gurugram, proudly announces its remarkable achievement of clinching Gold in the prestigious Green Campus Programme . The Climate Reality Project Foundation's Green Campus Program empowers schools to adopt sustainable practices, conserve natural resources like water and biodiversity, enhance energy efficiency, manage waste, and foster awareness about climate change and sustainable living, all while prioritizing student well-being over traditional educational approaches.

Launched earlier this year, the program facilitated schools in auditing resource usage and identifying areas of improvement. Ms Anshu Malika Kumar, Vice Principal , Mr Amit Verma, Manisha Singh, Ms Sonjuhi Khare , Ms Anubha Roy and Ms Reema Manocha actively participated in the Green School Audit, focusing on areas like community service, biodiversity, waste management, water conservation, innovative practices, air quality, and energy efficiency.

Principal, Ms. Alka Singh commended the students and staff for their efforts, emphasizing that the Gold Award reflects the school’s unwavering dedication to fostering sustainable development and meaningful initiatives for a greener future.
