 The school has recently got its much-coveted affiliation with the Hindustan Scouts and Guides association. The school has introduced Embarking on their journey towards responsibility, duty consciousness, dedication and patriotism.Our students have been working on ecosystem restoration under the aegis of this organization.  On the International Day of Yoga, 21^st June 2021, our students in the presence of honourable Prime Minister Shri Narender Modiji exhibited their skills and panache at yogic exercises. The online platform brought together a conglomeration of more than 100 participants from all across India. Blue Bells Model school continues to ensure the holistic growth of its students and a 360-degree progressive transformation by providing these opportunities to its students.

NTSE STAGE 1 RESULT

Anurag Sangwan and Vaibhav Semwal of Blue Bells Model School have made us all proud by adding another feather to our cap. They have cleared Stage 1 of NTSE i.e. National Talent Search Examination 2021 with flying colours. Anurag Sangwan stood at Rank 35 and Vaibhav Semwal secured Rank 63. NTSE or National Talent Search Examination is a national level exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for granting scholarships to meritorious students studying in class 10th. NTSE is only held for 10th standard students and the exam is conducted in two different stages – Stage I and II. The first stage exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by all the Indian states and UTs. Both the students are geared up to fight their battle for Stage II. The Management congratulated the students and appreciated their mentors and parents for the support and guidance provided to the students.

Malta Awareness Program

Our students participated in Malta Awareness Program held virtually on June 16, 2021, in collaboration with the High Commission of Malta. The current High Commissioner of Malta in New Delhi, India is His Excellency Mr. Reuben Gauci. The students witnessed a presentation highlighting the important aspects of the beautiful country Malta. The program was divided into different sections. In the first section they were educated on the geographical location of Malta as well as Valletta, the capital, the currency of Malta, the religions being followed in Malta, the population, the weather, the beautiful culture of Malta, its infrastructure. The next section focused on the history of Malta followed by the section which dealt with famous personalities associated in Malta. The most thrilling section was the one that displayed India and Malta relationship. Towards the end of program, His Excellency Mr. Reuben Gauci addressed the students and apprised them through a highly informative brief on the healthy relationship between India and Malta. It was a captivating session that enriched the students with the knowledge of a new nation – Malta.

COVID 19 – A CYCLE BETWEEN MENTAL HEALTH AND RACE FOR EDUCATION

With the onset of 2020, the Pandemic Pressure has a deleterious effect on everyone. From the fear of getting infected till the uncertainty that it has caused has affected not a few but the whole world including the students across the globe. During this period of confusion, uncertainty and self-doubt, the school team, ‘My Covid Guide’ comprising Sauransh Bhardwaj, the Founder, Shagun Jain, the Content Head, Divyanshu Sharma, the Research Head and Devansh Tripathi, the Design Head in collaboration with Aspirant India Initiative organized  a 'Panel Discussion on Pandemic Pressure'. Along with eminent guest speakers, Ms. Alka Singh, the Principal of the school and Covid Guide Team shared their opinions and thoughts on how to encourage students and keep them engaged to make this challenging time constructive and productive. The discussion on ‘Studying in the old-school way verses the gen-z  way’ was enlightening. The young speakers also delved into the repercussion of cancellation of Board exams, its impact on the students, schools facing challenges in declaring result and new admission procedure in colleges. To sum up the panel discussion offered an exclusive platform to the young speakers to explore the situation, think positively and stay motivated.

EDU TALK

VOICE OF CHOICE, SHAGUN JAIN AND KISHIKA MALLIK OF BLUE BELLS MODEL SCHOOL CREATED A BENCHMARK BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PRESTIGIOUS EDU TALK FORUM A SPECIAL DEBATE OF STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS No experience in this world has ever been cathartic without the willing participation of an individual. This willingness and readiness in students get nourished in Blue Bells and the school provides each and every opportunity to them where they can vent their voice and thereby refining their freedom of expression. Shagun Jain, the School Ambassador and kishika Malik, the Head Girl created a benchmark by participating in the prestigious Edutalk forum where they uttered their opinion on, ‘Student educator equity in co-construction of new model of learning in post pandemic school’. They confidently articulated their thoughts on their new learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Their interaction with the eminent educators Gurender Mishra, Anjali Malik, Sanyogita Sharma and Suchitra Battacharya was commendable. They appreciated Kishika’s determination to hone her innate skills during the pandemic instead of brooding over the unprecedented challenge. The positive approach of Shagun  while he voiced that ‘When there is a breakdown, there is a break through’ and ‘It’s a pandemic of opportunities’ was lauded by each speaker. The involvement of Shagun and Kishika in such a great platform  was an inspiring and elevating  learning experience for them. IMAGIVATION 2021

We firmly believe that determination and commitment bring accomplishment and success. Our students participated in International Innovation Summit - IMAGIVATION 2021 and exhibited this belief by proving their mettle through their stupendous performance. Over 15000 students from 20 countries across the globe took part in this summit. Arsh Khurana of Class IV C and Dhruv of Class VIII C were declared School Toppers in Group I & II respectively. The students got a platform where they learnt step-by-step designing with innovative thinking. The school Management and the Principal congratulated the students for their glorious achievement!

Entrepreneurship Summit to Help Startups – Uttishtha ‘21’

J.K.Rowling once said, ‘The discipline involved in finishing a piece of creative work is something you can truly pride yourself.’

Devishi Aggarwal of Class XI proved it right through her creative endeavour when she attended – Uttishtha ‘21’, conducted by IIM Kashipur. It is an annual Entrepreneurship Summit to help Startups. At the end of the summit, Devishi Aggarwal wrote an article on this summit on From the Experts Mouth (the Digital Media Partner with Uttishtha ' 21) that was published on their home page under the Biz Experts category. She received a certificate in recognition of her brilliant and innovative ideas.

Earth Day Competition

Our students participated in the Earth Day Competition organised by the Ignited Mindz Innoventures and Jasmin Rohilla of class X clinched the Second Position in Category C. Earth Day encourages us to reflect on what we are doing to make our planet a more sustainable and livable place. Our students keep researching on sustainable development goals and use their learnings to spread awareness around them. Jasmin expressed her thoughts with vivid articulation through a video presentation and impressed the judges of this online contest.

Online BEHES COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER EVENT 4.0

‘It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.’

Blue Bellians are not only talented students but also they are humane and compassionate. Their participation in Behes Community Fundraiser event 4.0 is a clear testimony to this fact that they imbibe the values and ethics that are inculcated in the school. The altruistic approach of the Behes community to donate the participation fee of Rs. 200 or more per participant for Covid 19 relief in these arduous times increased the eagerness and participation of Blue Bellians.

Sakhi Grover, Aanya Jayaswal, Srishti Sanjay of class VIIIB, Snigdha Shrivastav, Molli Sharma, Riya. Riddhima Agarwal of class XIC, Sanya Narag, Riya,Yash sharma of XID,Arushi Baweja, Mishty Kaushik, Gunn Malhotra, Manya Srivastava, Megha Jhamb, Amartya Jha and Devishi Aggarwal of class XIF showed keen interest and zest in debating with their opponents.

The fierce debaters Sakhi Grover, Aanya Jayaswal, Srishti Sanjay, Arushi, Mishty,Yash, Sanya, Gunn and Manya got selected for Maha Behes by exhibiting their knowledge and extraordinary oratory skills. Mishty was awarded as BEST 6th SPEAKER, Arushi was declared as 12th BEST SPEAKER and Sanya Narang as 17th BEST SPEAKER amongst 144 contestants.

This two-day journey was a marvelous learning experience for all the students and a glance into the mystified world of Behes.
