Heartfelt Tribute on Kargil Vijay Diwas by NCC Cadets

The valour and sacrifice of the Indian Army transcend the bounds of mere words. On the Silver Jubilee of Operation Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26^th July 2024, our NCC cadets delivered a heartfelt tribute, showcasing the bravery and dedication of our Kargil martyrs with remarkable vigour and enthusiasm. Their performance was a moving homage to the heroes of Kargil, reflecting their deep respect and admiration for those who served. This event was marked by a spirited display of patriotism and commitment, honouring the significant contributions of our armed forces.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, our NCC cadets were awarded the exemplary Performance accolade at DSD College, where over 200 cadets participated. Their dedication and passion were evident in every aspect of their tribute, embodying the spirit of "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it."

Urja Global Meritorious Student Award 2024

Celebrating Academic Excellence, the school cohort participated in the Urja Global Meritorious Student Award 2024 ceremony which was held at the Auditorium of Rishihood University in Sonipat on 6^th July 2024. The event recognized the outstanding achievements of students who scored a perfect 100 marks in the Class X and XII CBSE Board Exams for the academic year 2023-24. The prestigious awards were presented in the presence of dignitaries, educators, and proud parents, celebrating the dedication and hard work of these exceptional students.

In addition to honouring the students, the event also felicitated the teachers who played a crucial role in guiding and mentoring these young achievers. Their commitment to excellence and unwavering support were acknowledged and applauded. The ceremony highlighted the importance of quality education and the significant impact that dedicated teachers have on shaping the future of their students.

At the 5th Inter Academy Gymnastics Competition, hosted by Warrior Gymnastics Academy in Gurugram, Vanya, a student of grade 6D, triumphed by securing the Gold medal in the under-12 age category. Her outstanding performance highlighted the event, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Satvik Shines at National Football Tournament

Satvik Chowdhury of class 6 represented Haryana in the 15th Small-a-side National Football Tournament held at Super-30 Club, Panaji, Goa from May 15-17, 2024. Competing in the under-14 boys’ category, Satvik's stellar performance helped Haryana clinch the gold medal. Additionally, he was honoured with the Best Defender trophy, showcasing his exceptional skills among 300 participants from 10 states.

Ishat Kumar Jha Triumphs at Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan

Ishat Kumar Jha of class VIII C secured the national trophy for the North Zone, ranking 1st at the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) held in Bhopal. His achievement includes a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and a prestigious Srijan Internship. The competition saw participation from two toppers of each state, highlighting Ishat's exceptional performance.
