HI-TECH AD MAKERS

Creativity without strategy is called ‘art’ but creativity with strategy is called ‘advertising’. Our students proved their mettle with strategic planning when they participated in DIGEX 2017 held at DPS R K Puram. Darpan Hans and Naman Dureja of Class X bagged third prize in ‘Melt the Minute’ (ad making competition). They were appreciated for their brilliant creativity.

SILVERZONE OLYMPIAD

Participating in Olympiads and fetching laurels has been a trend of the school. The students participated in various Silverzone Olympiads and secured numerous prizes. The winners are as follows:

WE BELIEVE IN LEADING BY EXAMPLE

Our teachers believe in setting example for the students. They participated in Tata Edge Classroom Championship with 960 other teachers across Gurgaon. Ms. Vidhi Airun bagged first position, Ms. Priyanka Ahuja secured the second position and Ms. Meenakshi Narula fetched the grabbed the third position. Ms. Vidhi Airun carved a niche by qualifying at the zonal level. They were appreciated for their endeavours.

Dhruv Vats of Class VIII D participated in First District Table Tennis Championship held at American Excelsior School and bagged first position in U-15 and 5^th position in U-18 category. He also participated in Second District Table Tennis Championship held at The Penguins Kids School and bagged first position in U-15, 3^rd position in U-18, 5^th position in U-21 and 7^th position in Mens Category. He was appreciated by one and all for his efforts.

Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character.

Roopam Taneja of Class VIII has always made the Blue Bells family proud by winning laurels at various competitions and when it comes to Olympiads there is nothing left to say, for this genius is there on the top rungs of each Olympiad. His incredible achievements for the session 2016-17 are enumerated below.

·         Beginning with International Talent Hunt Olympiad, he bagged International Rank 5 with a Gold Medal & a wrist watch.

·         In International Informatics Olympiad 2016 he grabbed International Rank 2 with a Silver Medal & a Pierre Cardin pen.

·         He participated in Social Studies Olympiad and got International Rank 8. He received a Gold Medal & a wrist watch.

·         In Akhil Bhartiya Hindi Olympiad 2016 also he secured State Rank 2.  He was rewarded a Gold Medal, a trophy and a tablet.

·         Apart from the individual trophy he fetched a School Trophy also.

Harsh Dahiya of Class VIII also joined in the celebration by grabbing a bagged International Rank 5 with a Gold Medal & a wrist watch in International Talent Hunt Olympiad .

Some people are born to win, but to be a winner, one must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.

Our students participated in Interschool competition, Cyber Buzz, organized at Amity International School, Sec-43 on May 1, 2017. Our students - Aditya and Darpan of class X clinched First Prize in Photo Editing in the event Clic(K)he. They had to click photographs and edit them as per the demand of the competition. Their editing received huge appreciation by the jury.

Olympiads assess the students on the basis of the concepts taught and also help to apply them. Blue Bells Model School has always strived to open such opportunities for the students as they gain confidence and motivates them to achieve their goal of winning laurels. In the session 2016- 17 many such Olympiads like SOF and Silver Zone were conducted to make participants sharp minded and intelligent problem solvers. This has developed tremendous competitive spirit among the students. The students who won accolades in these tests by winning gold, silver and bronze medals were felicitated by our respected Principal Ma’am Chandan Dhawan and Primary Wing Incharge Ma’am, Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra.

Following are the names of few achievers who excelled in these tests. They are Arsh Jain, Shubham, Ghosh, Shresth Gaur, Priyansh Singh Chauhan, Parv Gupta, Aditi, Kartik Yadav and many other students who gave their best.

GURGAON DISTRICT SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

The Open District Swimming Championship was held at CRPF Campus Kadarpur from August 11 – 12, 2016. Kunal Thakran of Class XII E was declared the Best Swimmer of the Championship (in the under 19 years boys’ category) winning 9 Gold Medals by participating in 9 events.

Kunal Thakran has made the school by bringing laurels to school and this time he has added another feather in his cap by being selected in Open State Swimming Championship which will be held at Sonipat from August 27, 2016.
