The Digilogous

The students of Blue Bells Model School participated in an inter school I.T. event-“The Digilogous” held at Rukhmini Devi Public School and bought home many laurels. Around 37 schools from all over Gurgaon and Delhi participated in this event. Our students took part in various events like debate, app development, Binary Coding, Architectural Revolution etc. and bought laurels to school. Saloni Chhabra(XI) and Suhani Chawla(X) were the proud winners of the debate competition. Akshay(XI), Gauri(XI), Sachin(XI), Nandini(XI) bagged the second position in the event “App development” and Sarthak(X) and Karan(X) secured the third position in the event “architectural Revolution”.

OPEN DISTRICT BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

SOONER OR LATERTHOSE WHO WIN ARE THOSE WHOTHINK THEY CAN.
AN OPEN DISTRICT BADMINTON  CHAMPIONSHIP WAS ORGANIZED BY GURGAON DISTRICT ASSOSIATION AT SHIKSHANTAR  SCHOOL,SOUTH CITY 1.
IT WAS FOR U-13 ,U-15 ,U-17 AND U-19 FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS. AROUND 450 STUDENTS PARTICICPATED FROM  VARIOUS SCHOOLS.
TOTAL 16 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED FROM OUR SCHOOL IN  DIFFERENT CATEGORIES. ALL OF THEM CLEARED THE 1ST ROUND AND 6 OF THEM REACHED THE PRE-QUARTER FINALS .SHIVANI YADAV WAS THE WINNER UNDER U-17 AND WAS ALSO THE RUNNER UP UNDER U-15.
OERALL THE PERFORMANCE WAS GOOD AND THE TOURNAMENT WAS WELL ORGANIED

Silverzone Educational Excellence Award 2014-2015

There is no craft more privileged than teaching where you touch upon the lives of other human beings and hold the potential to inspire them. Silverzone paid a tribute to the positive contribution of teachers in molding countless lives through the fine medium of education. Around 35 schools from all over the country were invited to be a part of this coveted honour Ms. Madhu Gupta from Blue Bells Model School, who is enriching students in the field of chemistry from past 24 years was conferred with Silverzone Educational Excellence Award 2014-2015. Mr. Jean Yves Gillon Attche for co-operation in Education Embassy of France, New Delhi, bestowed the honour on her. The award was another feather in much decorated hat of Ms. Madhu Gupta , who is a proud recipient of many prestigious awards in teaching. Ms. Suman Gulati, Director Blue Bells Group of Schools , and other members of the Managing committee congratulated Ms. Madhu Gupta on this achievement and wished her luck for future endeavors.

TET-Quality Circle summer convention-2015

Achievers are not different, they just do things differently.

Blue bellians once again proved that they are worth appreciation. A quality circle Summere Convention was arranged by Times of India at the Hero motto Corp. ltd. Gurgaon plant. Students gave an outstanding presentation on the problem ‘Hyper attitude in students’ The chief guest , Mr. Kasbekar(Head of Supply chain)Hero Moto Corp. Mentioned in his speech that tools and steps of Quality Circle are being taught to students at this age meticulously and their training seemed really remarkable. Their presentation was highly impressive. Each students was awarded a momento as a token of their appreciation .

Block Level

Achievements are a tradition at Blue Bells.
The Athletics meet of Haryana Government Schools was organized at Government School, Sector 4-5,Gurgaon.
Our student Rustam Dahiya of class X participated in Discuss Throw event, The competition was judged by the principal of the Government school. Rustam won gold medal in the competition and his performance was appreciated by everyone.

Interschool Robotics Challenge

An interschool Robotics competition was organized at Lotus valley public School. Approximately 16-17 schools  like  DPS Sushantlok ,Salwan public School, Blue Bells Public School, Heritage School, Shiv Nadar public school etc. participated in the event . Our students participated in the event and won the 1st position.

Science Fiesta in K.R. Mangalam World School, Gurgaon

‘Achievers are not different, They just do things differently’

K.R Mangalam has recently organized  Science Fiesta – an interschool competition. Around 22 schools participated in the competition. Various events held were – Dancing Science, Magical Science, Exotic Destination in Space, Go beyond manufacturing.
And here again our Blue Bellians brought laurels for the school. The 3rd prize in Power Point Presentation was achieved by :

Sanskarshala Prize Distribution

Sanskarshala Prize distribution was organized by Dainik Jagran at Constitution Club of India,Delhi. Following students of Blue Bells Model School were awarded:

45000 students from various schools of Delhi NCR region participated. The function started with Diya Lighting ,welcoming the chief guests and all invites. A speech on values and traditions was given by Professor R.C. Bhardwaj. The students were very inspired by his valuable words.

LITTLE STAR ART FESTIVAL

BLUE BELLS MODEL SCHOOL SECTOR-4, GURGAON LITTLE STAR ART FESTIVAL
ORGANISED BY: BOOKLINGS
VENUE: JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU STADIUM, NEW DELHI

Booklings, an academic organization, in collaboration with XZtly events Malaysia, organised a Cultural Fest-Little Stars Art Festival 2015 on 25th and 26th April, 2015 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. More than 50 pioneer schools from Delhi and NCR were part of this cultural extravaganza. Around 300 students proved their mettle while learning invaluable lessons from distinguished panelists. Academicians, prominent social entities and eminent artists from various fields graced the event.
A team of 35 students from Blue Bells Model School, Sector-4, Gurgaon participated in a variety of competitions like Rangoli, Classical Dance, Origami, Sculpture and Photography. The performance of Blue Bellians was lauded by all in Origami where the presentation of ‘Swan’ by Harshita Rao of class IV stole the show. The origami presentation received the First Prize. Nishant Anand of class X bagged Second Prize in Photography for his heart rendering depiction of child labour under the category ‘I Question’. The fest was indeed a gift to the scores of children who are stars in their own right. The principal, Ms. Chandan Dhawan, congratulated the students and the team of teachers on this brilliant show.

Art Competition

An Art competition was organized in American Montessori School on the occasion of Earth Day. The students of our school who went there were:

Total five schools participated in the event American Montessori Public School ,CCA, Sherwood Convent School, Summer Fields School and our own Blue Bells Model School. Sachi of class IX B won 3rd prize in Tile decorating competition and Shrishti of class 10th B also secured 3rd position in Pot decorating competition. The students really enjoyed participating in this competition.
