With over 22 schools and hundreds of participants worldwide, this inspiring session explored key insights from the Tony Blair Institute's Generation Global Projects, fostering responsible digital citizenship and meaningful global connections.

Financial Literacy: A Key to Empowerment

An interactive workshop on Financial Literacy was conducted for the school educators by Dr. Shunil Tripathy,  a renowned Visionary Career Coach and Financial Mentor on 27^th February 2025 in Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram. The financial literacy workshop, organized by the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), aimed to enhance financial awareness among participants and emphasized on the importance of managing finances effectively. The session covered essential aspects such as budgeting, saving, investing, and making informed financial decisions for long-term security. Through expert insights from Dr. Shunil Tripathy, the session provided valuable knowledge on financial inclusion, financial freedom, and investment strategies such as SIP, SWP, and STP, empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions for a secure future. Special focus was given to the significance of financial independence empowering everyone to navigate economic challenges with confidence.

The session provided a comprehensive understanding of these concepts, enabling participants to make strategic financial choices and achieve long-term stability.

Distress To De-Stress: Handling Examination Stress

Maintaining a calm and focused mindset during exams is crucial for students to manage stress effectively. To support this, the ‘Distress to De-Stress: Handling Exam Stress Module’ is conducted annually for Middle Wing students (Grades VI to VIII) under the aegis of Adept – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in. This module, developed under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, equips students with practical tools to navigate exam pressure.

In February 2025, Life Skills facilitators expanded this initiative to reach more students, further promoting emotional well-being during exams. The session addressed stress indicators, procrastination, and exam-related concerns, with a strong focus on time management and SMART timetables. The students learned productivity strategies and engaged in concentration exercises, relaxation techniques, and guided imagery. Additionally, tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle including diet, exercise, and sleep were shared.

The participants felt heard and supported, gaining confidence in managing exam stress. They were also encouraged to seek guidance from Counsellors and Life Skills Facilitators for further support.

National Science Day (Assembly by Class III B)

“Science is a way of thinking, a process of discovery, and the key to unlocking the mysteries of the universe.”

We celebrated the curiosity and creativity that drive us to explore, innovate, and shape the future through a special assembly organized by the students of Class III B on February 24, 2025, to mark National Science Day. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and dedication.

The assembly commenced with a heartfelt prayer, seeking blessings for good health and well-being, followed by the pledge, reinforcing our commitment to the nation. The school song was then sung with great fervour, symbolizing the unity of our school community. An inspiring presentation on the significance of National Science Day highlighted the crucial role of science in shaping our world.

Students shed light on the remarkable contributions of eminent scientists, with a special focus on C.V. Raman, whose discovery of the Raman Effect is commemorated on this day. The assembly was vibrant with insightful speeches on the importance of scientific thinking, the role of technology in modern life, and science’s impact on diverse fields such as medicine, space exploration, and environmental protection.

Vice Principal Ms. Anshu Malika applauded the efforts of the students and their class teacher, Ms. Himanshi Sahni. The assembly concluded with an address by Ms. Kiran Rawat, Primary Wing Leader, who encouraged students to nurture their scientific curiosity.

Overall, it was a day of learning and inspiration, where students gained valuable insights into the significance of science in our daily lives and were motivated to continue exploring its endless possibilities.

Exploring Sustainability at the Sustaina Exhibition

A group of students from Blue Bells Model School visited the Sustaina Exhibition, organized by CEEW and Fair Gaze, to explore innovations in sustainability. The event highlighted eco-friendly initiatives such as women-driven e-auto rickshaws (SDG 5 & 13), millet farming (SDG 3, 5 & 8), and recycling awareness (SDG 12). Artistic exhibits and interactive sessions reinforced the importance of responsible consumption and climate action. The visit inspired students to contribute to a greener future.

‘INIZIO’: A BEGINNING, HEALTH & WELLNESS FIESTA 2024-25 ON THE THEME -’Kindness Matters: Small Acts, Big Impact’ “A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” - Amelia Earhart Education at Blue Bells Model transcends mere knowledge acquisition; it moulds individuals to excel in life and contribute meaningfully to society. By harmonizing tradition with innovation, we strive to nurture socially responsible and ethically grounded citizens. Aligned with this vision, the Health & Wellness Team, guided by the inspirational leadership of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, continuously designs innovative activities and modules. These initiatives not only refine students’ skills but also imbue them with values of integrity and wisdom. The team’s efforts extend beyond conventional education, shaping future leaders equipped with both knowledge and character. ‘Inizio: A Beginning, Health & Wellness Fiesta’ an annual event for Primary Wing students, was held on January 29, 2025, under the aegis of ADEPT – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in. This year’s theme, ‘Kindness,’ was encapsulated in the day’s motto: “Kindness Matters: Small Acts, Big Impact.” A diverse array of in-house activities was curated to awaken the creativity within the young scholars. Highlights included the Kindness Quilt for Class III, the Kindness Pledge for Class IV, and the Kindness Rock Pathway for Class V. Students participated with enthusiasm, showcasing their commitment to fostering a new era of kindness. Dr. Alka encouraged the Blue Bellians to exemplify the true spirit of 'Kindness.' She inspired them to continue working together with purpose and passion to build a world where they honour their own worth, cherish their environment, and contribute meaningfully to society at large.  

Unwrapping Learning Packages Chapter 2024 - 25

Blue Bells Model School hosted its flagship event, "Unwrapping Learning Packages Edition X, Chapter 2024-25", on February 7th and 8th, 2025. An event organized under the aegis of Learning and Development centre- The Learning Space, showcased the primary wing students' learning journey across grades III -V, seamlessly integrating transdisciplinary pedagogy, 21^st Century Skills, Experiential STREAM, and Design Thinking.

The theme, "Governing Ourselves: Strengthening Communities, Driving Progress", emphasised the importance of collaborative learning, community engagement, and holistic development. With 100% participation from the Primary Wing and a strong focus on parental involvement, the event ensured that every student had a memorable and enriching experience. The event was conceptualised by Ms. Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of schools, and the event was inaugurated by Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director Blue Bells Group of Schools.

Blue Bellians showcased their talent through mesmerising performances, including music, dance, and subject-based presentations. It was a student led carnival where designing, layout, theme-based games engaged parents through interactive session was all carried out by students. The theme harmonised with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and underscored the school's dedication to fostering responsible citizenship and environmental awareness.

 Under the expert mentorship of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director IT Department BBGS, the IT enthusiasts showcased their technical prowess with impressive demonstrations. Utilising MS Paint, PowerPoint, and Scratch, they seamlessly executed tasks, crafted engaging quizzes, display of Robotics and games. The Coding Club students further dazzled the audience with their innovative presentations in Sprite Lab and as creative Artist, highlighting their creativity and technical ingenuity.

The Health & Wellness team under the inspirational guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools created an expressive corner Elixir: ‘Find Your Essence’. The corner added enthusiasm to the event by imparting a thoughtful mindset and a new outlook to parents. An overview of the Health & Wellness Programme was showcased through aesthetically designed display boards which gave a kaleidoscopic glimpse of various activities and events for students, parents and teachers under the programme. Primary Wing students apprised the parents about the Health & Wellness Programme, ADEPT- A Programme for Enhancing Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in, and interesting characters and mascots of the School Cinema Movies which help to imbibe a healthy value system in the students. Inspirational and thought-provoking movies by School Cinema were projected as part of the Value Education programme. Students welcomed the parents and engaged them in interesting and intriguing energizers, mind jogs and activities like ‘Spot the Difference’ and ‘Unlocking Creativity: The Pandora Possibilities’ related to the movies. The movies helped the parents to understand that it is extremely important to acknowledge different values, life skills and emotions to have a holistic approach towards life.

Ms. Soumya Gulati expressed her appreciation for the overwhelming positive response to the school's holistic educational model, as evident in the Learning Progression and Thematic Transdisciplinary Approach that permeated the entire celebration. She emphasized that the event transcended mere celebration, serving as a powerful testament to the transformative impact of collective learning, innovation, and community engagement. The parents experienced hands on activities in the carnival with full zeal and vigour and appreciated the students’ performance. These activities reflected in- house teaching methodologies which make learning fun-filled and impactful.

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal and Ms. Kiran Rawat, Primary Wing Leader expressed their gratitude towards parents and students for their active participation. With a sense of pride and accomplishment, the school looks forward to continued growth, exploration, and collaborative learning, eagerly anticipating the exciting educational journey ahead.

Pariksha Pe Charcha

Students of Grades 6-8 at Blue Bells Model School attended the screening of Pariksha Pe Charcha (an initiative by Ministry of Education, India) , featuring actress Deepika Padukone as the chief guest on 13th February 2025. She shared insights on exam stress, mental well-being, and the significance of positive thinking. Highlighting the importance of open conversations about mental health, she introduced the Live, Love, Laugh Foundation and encouraged students to focus on their strengths rather than undue competition. The session inspired students to maintain a balanced approach to exams and life.

HAWAN X & XII 2024-25

Seeking Divine Blessings for Academic Success

With heartfelt devotion, we seek the guidance of the Almighty to instill hope, faith, and trust within us. May the path of eternal truth illuminate our hearts, minds, and lives, bringing boundless peace and serenity to our world.

A sacred Hawan ceremony was conducted for the students of Grades X and XII on 10^th February as they prepare for their CBSE Board Examinations 2025. The atmosphere was imbued with spiritual sanctity, as prayers were offered to invoke divine blessings for the students' academic excellence.

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, along with devoted teachers, stood in unison with the students in this pious ritual. Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools extended her heartfelt wishes, encouraging them to embrace success in their examinations and lead a life of prosperity and fulfillment.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad, a sacred token of divine grace, marking the culmination of this spiritually uplifting occasion.

Pariksha Pe Charcha

The students  of Blue Bells Model School watched a live telecast of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'  on Monday, 10th February 2025 , on the agenda of academic and examination-related queries - a unique initiative undertaken by the CBSE. This is an annual event hosted by the Honourable Prime Minister  Shri Narendra Modi for the students appearing in the exam to make examination stress free for our future nation builders.
