Cyber Awareness Session

The Cyber Awareness Assembly at Blue Bells Model School was conducted by the Cyber Council members under the able guidance of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Associate Director, Information and Technology, Blue Bells Group of School on 26^th August 2025 . The assembly served as an enlightening platform to spread awareness about the rising threats of cybercrime and the preventive measures students must adopt.

The session was graced by Mr. Prem, General Manager of Blue Bells Group of Schools, and addressed by the Principal, Ms. Alka Singh, who emphasised that being part of online confession groups is a punishable offence. Students were familiarised with terms such as spyware, adware, eavesdropping, and scams like WhatsApp hijacking. A thought-provoking speech by Arya Ojha of Grade XI highlighted the importance of controlling screen time, while students of Grades X and XI presented a skit on the negative impact of mobile addiction. An interactive discussion was led by Cyber Council members Trisha Agarwal, Bhumika Chakraborty, and Devanshi Gupta of Grade XI, sensitising peers about Instagram confession pages, cyber safety tools, and responsible online behaviour.

The session concluded with words of wisdom from the dignitaries, reinforcing the importance of safe and responsible digital citizenship.

STUDENT LED CONFERENCE 2025

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, proudly hosted the Student Led Conference (SLC) on 30 August 2025, reaffirming its commitment to progressive, inclusive, and learner-centric education. The event, designed for students of Grades VI to VIII, was an initiative of The Learning Space – the L & D Department, steered under the guidance of Ms. Soumya Gulati, Associate Director – Academic Development & Innovation.

The Student Led Conference served as a unique platform for learners to step into the role of presenters, taking complete ownership of their academic journey. Students confidently shared their achievements, reflected on their progress, and articulated future learning goals. Through interactive sessions, creative displays, and engaging presentations, they showcased not only their scholastic accomplishments but also their growth in essential life skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership.

The conference also provided an enriching opportunity for parents to gain authentic insights into their wards’ day-to-day learning experiences. By bridging the gap between home and school, it fostered meaningful conversations and deeper understanding of classroom practices and teaching methodologies. Parents were visibly delighted to witness their children speak with such fluency, confidence, and clarity, reflecting the transformative power of student agency.

More than a showcase of academic progress, the SLC was a celebration of joyful learning. It highlighted how active involvement and responsibility nurture students into self-directed, confident, and articulate individuals. The resounding success of this edition underscored the school’s vision of holistic education, where students, educators, and parents collaborate as equal partners in the journey of growth.

The event concluded on a note of inspiration, with the school looking forward to continuing this empowering practice that encourages every

learner to discover their voice, take charge of their learning, and emerge as leaders of tomorrow.

CYBER AWARENESS DRIVE 2025 (COMMUNITY SERVICE)

Be the Change: Azadi Cyber Crime Se

Blue Bells Model School, in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Team, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs, successfully staged a Nukkad Natak on Cyber Crime awareness under the theme “Be the Change: Azadi Cyber Crime Se.” The campaign, held simultaneously across 79 locations in Delhi NCR on 31^st August 2025 , aimed at sensitizing the public to the growing menace of cybercrime while promoting safe, ethical, and responsible use of digital platforms.

The students of Blue Bells Model School performed the street play at prominent public spaces including Ram Park and HUDA Market (Sector 4), Cyber Hub (Gurugram), and Elan Miracle (Sector 84). Through powerful dialogues, impactful slogans, and energetic performances, they highlighted pressing issues like identity theft, online fraud, cyberbullying, and misuse of social media, while sharing practical prevention tips.

The initiative drew immense appreciation from the audience and enriched the campaign with authentic insights from I4C. It not only empowered citizens with greater cyber awareness but also inspired students to take pride in being vigilant, responsible digital citizens, reinforcing that true Azadi lies in safeguarding ourselves and our community from cyber threats.

Blue Bellians Explore the Heart of Indian Democracy

Students of Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, undertook an educational visit to the Central Vista, New Delhi, on 27th August 2025. Accompanied by Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, and Ms. Manisha Singh, Student Outreach Coordinator, 29 students explored significant sites including the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Chambers, Samvidhan Sadan, Prerna Sthal, Parliament Library, and the Parliament Museum (PRIDE). The visit provided students with first-hand exposure to the law-making process, constitutional values, and India’s democratic functioning. This enriching experience not only strengthened their civic understanding but also instilled a deep sense of patriotism and responsibility as future citizens of the nation

Blue Bells Group of Schools Ignites Hope Grade 10 Students Take a Resounding Stand Against Drug Abuse through an Awareness Session on Peer Pressure and the Drug Menace!

An interactive sensitization session on Peer Pressure and the Drug Menace was conducted for students of grade X on August 19, 2025 in BBMS under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director (Social & Emotional Learning), Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the impact of peer pressure, its link to substance abuse, and ways to make healthy, responsible choices. The main objective of the session was to help students define and understand peer pressure, explore strategies to deal with negative peer pressure and create a personal safety net.

The session was highly engaging and activity-based. Students began by sharing their thoughts on “What comes to their mind when they hear the word peer pressure?” They also reflected on situations where peer pressure had worked positively for them, as well as times when it had a negative influence.

Through role plays, facilitators enacted real-life scenarios, followed by discussions on refusal strategies and the importance of having a safety net. Later, in groups, the students brainstormed coping strategies for different peer-pressure situations. The students were made aware about the importance of creating a safety net against the drug menace in order to provide young people, families, and communities with protective shields to help prevent substance abuse and offer support when challenges arise. A safety net will not only promote mental health awareness and stress management strategies, but also help individuals to develop resilience and confidence to handle challenges without resorting to drugs.

The session concluded with students identifying and creating their own safety circle with trusted network of people they can reach out to for support. Also, important Government Helpline numbers, information about Local NGO’S & Safety Net Nodes for Students were shared to provide guidance for students facing stress, anxiety, peer pressure, or drug-related challenges.

The session left students with clarity about the forms and effects of peer pressure, practical refusal skills to confidently say “No,” and also provided each one the ability to identify positive influences and avoid negative ones. Students were urged to take a pledge under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and join the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan—a collective movement towards a drug-free future.

Overall, the session was an eye-opener, motivating students to stay resilient, make informed choices, and contribute towards a drug-free community.

Blue Bells Model School proudly organised the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada" (July 1-15, 2025) with an impactful awareness drive on under the guidance of –

Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director (Social & Emotional Learning), BBGS. The mission was to empower every student and staff member with the knowledge and conviction to build a drug-free future.

The day commenced with students of Classes IX to XII taking the unified pledge, “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs.” With firm voices, the students reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating this menace, sending out a powerful collective message of resilience and hope.

They further amplified their stance through a compelling poster-making activity, highlighting critical issues like peer pressure, mental health, curiosity, and social influence. Their thought-provoking visuals turned into bold statements against addiction and in favour of awareness and life.

This campaign emerged as a movement aimed at creating a ripple effect by awakening young minds to the strength of informed decision-making. Through open discussions and active participation from both staff and students, the initiative emphasized the values of empathy, mental well-being, and shared responsibility.

ZUMBA WORKSHOP (NCC)

Zumba Workshop by 5 Haryana Battalion NCC

“Fitness is not about being better than someone else, it’s

about being better than you used to be.”

A vibrant Zumba Workshop was organized under the Khelo India – Fit India Movement at Blue Bells Model School on 20th August 2025. The session was designed to promote physical fitness, joy, and discipline among young cadets through dance-based exercises.

The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 150 cadets from 12 school's along with ANOs from various schools, of Gurugram out of which 50 cadets were from Blue Bells Model School. Trained instructors conducted the session with high-energy routines combining music, rhythm, and aerobic movements. The lively atmosphere inspired cadets to adopt fitness as a way of life, making exercise both enjoyable and impactful. The workshop not only enhanced stamina but also spread awareness about healthy living, in alignment with the vision of the Fit India Campaign.

The event concluded with words of appreciation from Lt. Col Ravindra Kumar Raghav (Adm. Officer 5 Haryana Battalion NCC Gurugram), Ms Anshu Malika Kumar, Vice Principal, Blue Bells Model School), the instructors and school authorities, encouraging cadets to continue their fitness journey with zeal and dedication.

Inter House Theatre Competition(Primary Wing)

Inter-House Theatre Competition

The Primary Wing of Blue Bells Model School organised an enriching Inter-House Theatre Competition on the theme “Financial Literacy through the Lens of Wisdom Tales”. The event, titled “Niti Aur Nivesh: Tales That Teach”, offered young learners an innovative platform to weave lessons of savings, investment, and prudent choices into timeless tales of wisdom. Each house presented creative and thought-provoking performances, blending storytelling with meaningful financial insights, leaving the audience inspired and engaged. The competition not only encouraged financial awareness at an early age but also fostered confidence, teamwork, and expression among students.

Nehru House was declared the Winner, while Mother Teresa House and Tagore House secured the First and Second Runner-up positions respectively. Indira Gandhi House received a Special Mention for its impactful presentation.

Janmashtami Celebration

“Wherever there is Krishna, there is victory.”

A special assembly on the occasion of Janmashtami was beautifully presented by the students of Grade 3D on August 18, 2025. The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer, invoking Lord Krishna to walk beside us and guide us through life’s ups and downs. A thoughtful message followed, encouraging everyone to perform good deeds and lead a life of kindness and virtue. Through a captivating narration of Lord Krishna’s life, the young learners drew inspiration to do good for others and stand up for what is right. A mesmerizing dance performance depicting scenes from Krishna’s childhood added charm and vibrancy to the celebration, leaving the audience truly spellbound.

The students also explored the diverse ways in which Janmashtami is celebrated across India, discovering the rich cultural heritage and festive spirit associated with the occasion. Their joy and enthusiasm were clearly visible as they realized that Janmashtami is not just a celebration, but a way to unite people and reinforce the values of love, unity, and righteousness.

The celebration concluded on a divine note as everyone offered flowers to the idol of Lord Krishna and sought his blessings with folded hands and pure hearts.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

 A special tribute was also paid to the nation for its pivotal role in shaping and nurturing ideal citizens.
