Great businesses are built on vision, fueled by passion, and driven by relentless efforts. The 3rd Edition of the Inter-School Business Summit 2025 - 'Comm-Kshetra and Udbhav’, hosted by Blue Bells Model school, Gurugram, marked a significant milestone in fostering innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. Over two dynamic days, July 18 and 19, 2025, the summit brought together high school students, industry experts, and academic leaders on a shared platform to engage in real-world business simulations. With a lineup of competitive challenges, the event was thoughtfully designed to enhance students’ analytical thinking, communication, and financial literacy.

The opening ceremony commenced with the traditional diya lighting with shloka recital. A classical group dance created a perfect ambience for the two-days event. Radhika Agarwal and Meet Khushwaha, the Commerce Wizards, and Ishita Dutta the Humanities Wizard, extended a warm welcome to the management, dignitaries, and participants, highlighting the summit as a platform to foster entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving skills. Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, formally welcomed all and encouraged students to embrace their role as future leaders and changemakers and declared the event open.

The theme of the Summit centered on ‘Let’s Innovate, Integrate and Inspire the World’. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, BBGS graced the occasion with her benign presence as the Chief Guest. The esteemed Guest of Honour for the event was Mr. Rajiv A Cowasjee, Director, Technical and Practical Arts, Le Cordon Bleu, School of Hospitality and Tourism.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 1100 students from 74 renowned schools from across Gurugram and other cities and states including Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Delhi. The young budding scholars competed with all their knowledge and might in an intellectually stimulating thirteen events. The plethora of competitions included Trade-E-Thon, Supernova, Nitikar, Litigation Lane, Politiplus, Pitch Masters, Sustainability in Fashion, Digimark, Echoes of Antiquity, Folkonomics, The Ultimate Res-Q, Eidos Symposium and Timeless Strokes. The eminent adjudicators and sponsors of the events were from BMU University, G. D. Goenka University and Start Up You.

The closing ceremony commenced with a Ganesh Vandana followed by a vibrant 'Snapshot' presentation, capturing memorable glimpses from across the summit—preparation zones, brainstorming sessions, venue setups, and the competitive arenas. A captivating band performance and a group dance on the theme ‘Economically growing India’ by the school’s young performers added an artistic flair to the event. Winners across various categories were felicitated with trophies and certificates by the School Director, Principal, and distinguished judges. In their address, the judges applauded the participants’ creativity, dedication, and entrepreneurial insight, and praised the school for seamlessly executing such a large-scale initiative. They emphasized that the summit had effectively empowered students to emerge as visionary leaders, innovative thinkers, and socially conscious individuals. Dr. Suhail, Senior Wing Coordinator, concluded the ceremony with a heartfelt vote of thanks. Centered on future-ready skills and ethical entrepreneurship, the 2025 summit not only cultivated leadership but also encouraged empathy, sustainability, and a global outlook—empowering the change-makers of tomorrow.

BLUE BELLS GROUP OF SCHOOLS PAYS HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO MEDICAL HEROES ON DOCTOR’S DAY

Blue Bells Group of Schools, under the aegis of Health & Wellness Programme, celebrated Doctor’s Day with deep reverence and gratitude, honouring the selfless service and relentless dedication of the medical fraternity. To mark this significant day, special assemblies were held in the Middle Wing, across all branches during the first week of July 2025.

The celebrations were a seamless blend of empathy, learning, and creativity. The scholars across the wings came together to present soulful poems and heartfelt reflections, portraying doctors as fearless guardians of life. The learners led the assemblies with grace and conviction, embodying the spirit of service and gratitude.

A highlight of the event was the engaging session led by the school’s dedicated medical team of doctors and nurses on First Aid Essentials and Monsoon Health Tips, equipping students with vital knowledge for everyday wellbeing.

As a token of love, students crafted handmade appreciation cards to express gratitude to the school doctors and nurses, acknowledging their tireless care and presence. The event concluded with touching messages from the Vice Principal who praised the dedication of healthcare professionals. The celebration reflected BBGS’s enduring commitment to empathy, awareness, and respect for those who serve humanity selflessly.

STEM WORKSHOP

A one-day STEM Workshop was organized on 15 July 2025, at Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram aiming to enhance teachers' understanding and integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education into their teaching practices. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators across various departments.

 The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, of the school welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary learning in the 21st-century classroom.

 The session was conducted by Mr Sunil Bajaj (Additional Director, SCERT , Gurugram , Haryana), Ms. Akanksha Arora(Director, Educator Network ), Dr Ashok Sharma(Additional Professor in Biochemistry , AIIMS), Dr Shashikant Gupta (Professor, Physics in GD Goenka University) who are experts in STEM pedagogy and innovation. With vast experience in curriculum design and hands-on training, they shared valuable insights into the relevance of STEM in shaping future-ready learners.

 The workshop included interactive activities, group tasks, and technology-integrated teaching demonstrations. Teachers were introduced to innovative teaching methodologies, inquiry-based learning, integration of coding and the application of real-life problem-solving skills in classroom instruction.

Participants appreciated the hands-on exposure and the opportunity to engage in collaborative learning. The workshop successfully inspired teachers to adopt STEM-based approaches and to create engaging, experiential learning environments for students.

 The day concluded with a feedback session and a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms Anshu Malika Kumar (Vice Principal). She expressed sincere gratitude to the resource persons for their insightful and thought-provoking sessions, and to the organizing team for their meticulous planning and execution. Special thanks were extended to the school management for their unwavering support in promoting professional development opportunities for teachers. She also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all educators.

This STEM workshop proved to be a transformative experience, fostering innovation, critical thinking, and a forward-looking educational approach.

AWARENESS ON SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA (NCC)

AWARENESS SEMINAR TO ELIMINATE SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, under  5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram organized an awareness seminar on "The National Mission to Eliminate Sickle Cell Anaemia" for the NCC cadets as a part of their commitment to holistic health education and community service. The seminar aimed to sensitize the cadets about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of this genetic blood disorder that predominantly affects certain populations in India.

The resource person highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, regular health check-ups, and the role of lifestyle and nutrition in managing the condition. The cadets actively participated by raising pertinent questions and pledging to spread awareness in their communities. This initiative not only enhanced their understanding of public health issues but also strengthened their sense of social responsibility as future leaders and changemakers.

This program aligned with NCC’s vision of grooming cadets into aware and responsible citizens who contribute positively to nation-building.

GURU PURNIMA - Primary Wing SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

A special assembly on Guru Purnima was held at Blue Bells Model School, celebrating the invaluable role of gurus in shaping our lives. The assembly, conducted with heartfelt reverence by the students of Grade V A, beautifully reflected their gratitude. It commenced with a soulful doha, setting a spiritual tone, followed by the customary proceedings of the assembly. Students expressed their appreciation through a melodious song and handcrafted cards, symbolizing the guiding light that teachers provide in nurturing young minds. A vibrant dance performance added to the cultural richness of the occasion, highlighting the deep-rooted heritage of Guru Purnima. The event was graced by Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, and Ms. Kiran Rawat, Wing-Incharge, who shared inspiring thoughts on the pivotal role of educators. The celebration served as a poignant reminder of the essence of lifelong learning and the lasting influence that teachers have on a student’s path of knowledge and self-discovery.

WATER TESTING (NITYA ENSAFE AND ROOTSKILLS)

Training Session on Active Learning

A one-day in-house training session on Active Learning was conducted by Ms. Sanjana Arora for the educators of Blue Bells Model School. The workshop focused on engaging teaching methodologies to enhance student participation and learning outcomes. The event was structured into four sessions, starting with an interactive self-introduction, followed by “Active Learning Unveiled,” which introduced the concept and benefits of active learning. The second session demonstrated engaging strategies like Think-Pair-Share and concept mapping. The third session emphasized designing effective activity plans, while the final session allowed educators to apply their learning through hands-on activities.

The training session equipped educators with practical strategies to foster an interactive and student-centered learning environment.

Serenity Space

You 2.0 – Evolving for Tomorrow: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Growth

Blue Bells Group of Schools, believes in fostering richness of thoughts and empowering students to develop holistically. In pursuance of this vision, and under the aegis of Adept – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by wellnesswise.in, an insightful session: “You 2.0 – Evolving for Tomorrow’’ was held on April 28, 2025, for students of Grades IX & XI.

Ms. Shammi Proothi, Vice President, ANON Global Foundation, conducted the session with passion and purpose. Inviting deep self-reflection, she posed a powerful question: “What version of yourself are you today, and who do you aspire to become?” Emphasis of the session laid on the shift from Version 1.0 to 2.0 through awareness of thoughts, emotions, and actions. The redefinition of IQ as Intuitive Quotient, balanced with Emotional Quotient, inspired a more holistic understanding of success. A captivating video on the energy of words, along with the concept of the emotional spiral, encouraged students to communicate mindfully and recognize awareness as the first step towards growth.

Young changemakers from Serenity Space—Mr. Udyat Gulati and Mr. Kavish introduced their initiative, which aims to create a safe, inclusive space for open conversations around mental health and access to professional support. They encouraged students to promote peer support within their circles and shared that those seeking guidance could also connect with Serenity Space through their teachers.

The session concluded with heartfelt student reflections, leaving each participant inspired to rise, realign, and embrace their Version 2.0 -with clarity, courage, and compassion.

ECONOMICS CBP

"Unlocking Economic Insights: Blue Bells Model School Hosts Successful 2-Day CBP"

 Blue Bells Model School, Gurgaon, successfully concluded a two-day Capacity Building Program on Economics for senior teachers on June 15-16, 2025. The program, led by Resource Persons , Dr. Priyanka Bhattacharjee and Ms. Alka Singh, aimed to enhance educators' understanding of economic concepts and equip them with innovative teaching methodologies.

 Key highlights included expert sessions on inflation and monetary policy, interactive discussions, and a focus on experiential learning. Teachers also practiced drafting question papers according to Bloom's Taxonomy, developing lesson plans, spray diagrams, and teaching strategies based on Multiple Intelligence.

 Participants praised the CBP for its engaging sessions and practical approaches, particularly appreciating the opportunity to network and share best practices. Overall, it was an effective way to convey complex economic concepts, reinforcing the school's commitment to providing quality education and empowering teachers to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

Yoga Primary

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." – Bhagavad Gita

To promote holistic well-being and the importance of mental and physical health among students, the Health & Wellness Team of the school, under the inspirational mentorship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director - Health & Wellness, BBGS, organized Yoga Session for the students of the Primary Wing on April 30, 2025.

A rejuvenating chair yoga session along with Laughter Yoga was facilitated by a parent volunteer, and the school Yoga Facilitator to celebrate World Laughter Day and International Yoga Day. The session aimed to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga and laughter in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and included a series of Breathing Exercises, Rhythmic Clapping, Laughter Techniques, Deep Breathing, Neck Stretches, Shoulder Stretches, Side Bends, Leg and Foot Stretches and Aum Chanting that helped reduce stress and create a cheerful environment. Students participated actively and discovered the therapeutic effects of laughter. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, creating a vibrant and mindful atmosphere. These activities not only highlighted the importance of physical fitness but also emphasized emotional wellness, encouraging students to incorporate yoga and laughter into their daily routines. Overall, the session was highly beneficial and reinforced the school's commitment to promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Students expressed their gratitude towards the Health & Wellness team stating that they felt more relaxed and energized after attending the session.
