Blue Bells Model School Honoured for Exemplary Commitment to NEP 2020 and SDGs

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, has once again proven its unwavering dedication to excellence in education and sustainable development. At the prestigious Educational Leadership Conclave 2025, held on 29th June, the school was awarded the Certificate of Commitment and felicitated with the SDG School Award 2025 by the Centre for Educational Development Foundation, under the aegis of NITI Aayog, Government of India.

These accolades are a recognition of the school’s visionary leadership and its remarkable efforts in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aligning its pedagogy with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The CED Survey Report highlighted BBMS’s innovative educational initiatives, community engagement, and integration of SDG practices into daily learning and the academic calendar.

ECONOMICS TIMES SUSTAINABILITY AWARD FOR GREEN PRACTICES

BBMS Honoured for Sustainability Excellence by The Economics Times

Blue Bells Model School has been awarded the prestigious Silver honour in the "Excellence in Sustainability & Green Practices" category at the Education Excellence Awards 2025 by The Economics Times . The school's nomination successfully navigated two rigorous evaluation rounds, earning it a top three spot among winners. The award ceremony took place at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, during the Annual Education Summit on June 19, 2025.

Ms Alka Singh , Principal honoured with Rabindra Nath Tagore National Award

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, was honoured with the prestigious Rabindranath Tagore National Award at the Education Excellence Conclave (EEC)  supported by reputed organizations including NSDC and Skill India organised by Ek Updesh Media. The event witnessed the participation of over 400 education leaders from Delhi NCR and nearby regions. She was also a distinguished panelist at the conclave, contributing valuable insights during discussions on innovation and excellence in education.

A Trailblazer in Education: Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati Receives Prestigious ET Iconic Women Award

We are delighted to share that our revered Dr Saroj Suman Gulati , Director , Blue Bells Group of Schools has been conferred with the Pioneer in Education Award at the prestigious ET Iconic Women Awards, organized by The Times of India today at Grand Hyatt, Gurgaon.

On International Women's Day, the ET Iconic Awards celebrated exceptional women achievers across diverse fields. It was an inspiring moment as Director Ma’am received this well-deserved honour from the renowned Ms. Sonali Bendre.

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal  Honoured as Skill Bharat Ambassador

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, was conferred with the prestigious Skill Bharat Ambassador Award at a ceremony held in Mumbai, organized by OLL. This recognition highlights her pioneering efforts in introducing skill-based education and her instrumental role in establishing the school's Unicorn Cell to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Her dedication to equipping students with essential 21st-century skills continues to set new benchmarks in education.

Global Sustainability Award 2024

Blue Bells Model School has been recognized among India’s Top 10 Schools in the "Legend" category at the Global Sustainability Awards 2024, presented by ARC EdTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The school’s commitment to sustainability was further highlighted through remarkable achievements in educator and student categories. Ms. Manisha Singh received the Silver Award for SDG 6, while students Srishti Sanjay & Deeksha Rana (Grade XI), Shaswat Semwal & Toshit Gandhi (Grade IX), and Harshwardhan Yadav & Amogh Dev Marwaha (Grade VIII) were honoured for their outstanding eco-innovation projects. Under the leadership of Principal Ms. Alka Singh, the school continues to foster eco-conscious changemakers.

ICT Seagulls Project 2024: Championing Social Responsibility

The ICT Seagulls Project 2024, Dr. Madhu Gupta (Project Leader) , Mr Yogesh Sharma (Advisor) and Supporting Leaders (Ms Sanjna Bhasin and Ms Manisha Kumari)  focused on understanding the trauma of war and its impact on martyrs' families. Supported by Principal Alka Singh, the team of nine students and four teachers earned accolades as the Champion Social Responsibility Project and won the Prof. Erol Inelmen Jury Special Award. The project highlighted resilience, grief, and struggles through dedicated efforts across research, communication, and design.
