BBMS VittClub: Nurturing Financial Literacy Among Students

BBMS VittClub – A Financial Literacy Cell at Blue Bells Model School, in collaboration with the Stock Savvy Society in collaboration with Financial Literacy of Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi North Campus, is dedicated to fostering financial awareness among students. In the 2024-25 session, the club organized Mock Trading Sessions, Online Internships, Financial Literacy Quizzes, and Demo Sessions on the concepts of Financial Literacy , providing students with hands-on experience in budgeting, investing, and economic trends. By encouraging financial responsibility and informed decision-making, BBMS VittClub continues to empower students to become financially aware global citizens. Kudos to the members of VittClub and Stock Savvy Society for their dedication to financial literacy! As we move forward, we aspire to take a significant leap towards Viksit Bharat 2047, fostering a financially aware and empowered generation.

The French SpellBee Competition, held on 18th January at India International Centre, showcased students’ linguistic prowess. Keya Gupta (IX-C) emerged as the champion, excelling through intense spelling rounds. The event, enriched by motivational speeches, inspired students to enhance their French proficiency.

Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2024

The Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2024 was organised by CBSE on 6th February 2025 at DPS Jodhpur. This prestigious event brought together exceptional young talent from across the region, aiming to not only showcase the skills of participants but also provide crucial career guidance to students, teachers, and school principals.

The Skill Expo Culmination was an exclusive event for the position holders from the regional Skill Expo competitions. These outstanding individuals, who excelled in their respective fields, were given the opportunity to present their skills and innovations. One of the highlights of the event was the representation of our school team, BIO-BLEND, from the CBSE Panchkula region at the National Event. The team, comprising Harshwardhan Yadav (VIII) and Saksham Kumar (VIII), showcased their impressive idea and prototype, which earned them recognition and applause for their creativity and hard work.

In parallel, the Guidance Festival offered invaluable career insights to principals, teachers, and students from affiliated schools . Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, Blue Bells Model School,  as a panellist shared her valuable insights on the importance of skill education and its role in shaping students' lives, particularly in their future career endeavours.

Through this event, students were empowered to make informed career choices, helping them shape a successful future.
