Dr. Kalam's Mighty Minds Scholarship Program launched by Mighty Me

In the pursuit to contribute to the development in the field of education, make it accessible to a greater number of students and tap the mighty quotient in them, Mighty Me launched Dr. Kalam's Mighty Minds Scholarship Program. The Entire Scholarship Program was conducted remotely through an Online Platform. The scholarship program aimed to identify the mighty quotient among young minds through a series of scientific brain games in the month of January to March. Tanish Dhiman of class 9 D has received rank category MM++ and a certificate of recognition and goodies from Mightyme Scholarship program for his outstanding performance in the program.

Divyansh Kataria of Class XI F of Blue Bells Model School, Sector 04 Gurugram brought laurels to the school by bagging Gold Medal in Junior State Boxing Championship. The competition was held from 08 July to 11 July 2022 at National Boxing Academy, Rohtak. The Principal, Ms Alka Singh congratulated the winner and appreciated the efforts of the mentor.

'Swachh School Puruskaar' for Blue Bells Model School

The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar has been instituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in schools and Blue Bells Model School Gurugram has done exemplary work in the categories of water, sanitation and hygiene. The school was declared a 'Swachh School' in Paryavaran Gaurav Samman, Tritiya Sanskaran - 2022 Award Ceremony held on 24 April 2022, at Artemis Hospital Auditorium, Sector 51 Gurugram.

To celebrate Earth Day and spread awareness about Malaria Day, the Municipal Corporation, Gurugram and Buland Aawaz Welfare Society organized the program to honour and recognize the contribution of RWA, schools, NGOs, social and business institutions for their contribution in making Gurugram a clean city.

Mr. Sumit Kumar (Joint Commissioner of Gurugram zone - 1 & Dr. Vijaypal Yadav (Joint Commissioner - Headquarters) presided over the function as the Chief Guests. They urged the audience to plant trees and segregate wet and dry waste in their homes, reduce plastic usage, especially single-use plastic etc.

On the momentous occasion, Principal, Ms. Alka Singh added that the students are ‘cleanliness ambassadors’ and they will lead the vision of clean India through awareness and sensitization programmes.

Raising the awareness and making the students proactive, Blue Bells Model School, Sector -04 Gurgram participated in Literati: Festival of Languages hosted by Amity International School, Sector -46 Gurugram. A team of 3 students viz Bhavika Dhingra( VIII C), Kanav Goel (IX D) and Kartik Mor( VIII B ) participated in Story Writing, the first round of Hindi Vaad – Vivaad Competition followed by the debate. Bhavika Dhingra of Class VIII who spoke ‘for the motion’ paved the way to success in the Hindi Vaad-Vivaad Competition. The school bagged the third position leaving behind 23 contenders of Delhi and NCR. The Principal, Ms Alka Singh congratulated the winner and applauded the efforts of the student.

In order to enhance the academic capabilities of our students, Tanish Dhiman, a student of Class VIII of Blue Bells Model School, Sector-04 Gurugram brought laurels to the school by securing the first position in International Hindi Olympiad organized by Hindi Utkarsh Mandal, Delhi at the school level. He was awarded a Gold Medal and Special Certificate of Appreciation.
