Blue Bells Model School Sec-4 Gurugram wishes victory and good luck to Nikita Sahu for Asian Games 2018 event ‘Inline Hockey Championship’

This is a moment of immense pleasure and pride for Blue Bells Model school Sec-4 Gurugram to share that young prodigy Nikita Sahu of class XI of the school has been selected for Asian Games to be held in South Korea from 4th to 14th September 2018 in Inline Hockey Championship. She is attending a training camp at Patiala from 12th August to 31st August 2018 to gear up her spirit and strengthen her competence for the International feat. The school showers its blessings and wishes her success in her forthcoming global competition.

ALL INDIA OPEN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

All India Open Karate Championship 2018 was held at Koramangala Stadium, Bangluru on 11th and 12th August, 2018. The event was organized by Japan Karate – DO Hakuabai. Our students Amritesd Githwal of VIII and Naina Gothwal of Class VI bagged Bronze Medals by showcasing their Karate prowess.

Xavenium

Our school team participated in the event ‘XAVENIUM’organised by St. Xavier School. Our dancers clinched First Position in the event ‘Foot Loose’. AvaniSavarna and Aadhya Sharma participated in the event ‘Folk Art’ and bagged Second Position. Meira Maratha bagged First Position for ‘Dress-O-Mania’. Blue Bells Model School and Blue Bells Preparatory School shared the ‘Overall Winners Trophy’ for their remarkable accomplishment in all the events.

GURUGRAM OPEN DISTRICT BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

Gurugram Open District Badminton Championship was organised at Heritage Sports Academy from August 10 to 12, 2018. Sixteen of our students participated in the tournament. Our students reached Quarter Finals as well as Semi-Finals. They bagged several positions in various matches. Saiyam Nagpal was selected for State Tournament after winning the Runners Up (Doubles Title) in U/15 Boys Category. Deepesh Sachdeva, Priyansh Jain, Vedansh Trivedi and Lavanya Kathuria were qualified to play in Quarter Finals.

Annual Inter School Event - MANTHAN 2018

Our students participated in Annual Inter School Event - MANTHAN 2018 organised by K R Mangalam World School on August 3, 2018 along with 12 prestigious schools like CCA, Amity International School, Scottish High. The event was designed to hone the creative abilities of the students, with an aim to bring out their best and acknowledge their talents just as pearls are extracted from ocean shells. Our students participated zealously and clinched prizes for their commendable performance. Prassiddhi Sachdeva and Vaibhav Semwal of Class VIII A bagged First Prize for their power pack presentation in OPTIMINDS. Shubhangi Patni of Class VIII D secured Third Position for her splendid oratory skills in IMPROMPTU.

 The versatile students clinched the Overall Winner’s Trophy ?in this event.Congratulations to the winners,their worthy mentors and proud parents.

SCIENTIST IN THE MAKING

An Inter School Science Quiz was organized by St. Michael’s Senior Secondary School on August 1, 2018. Our students Roopam Taneja and Jitendra Jangra of Class IX were able to clinch away the Winner’s Trophy. Roopam was awarded with the most coveted Junior Scientist Award.

POONA RACKET BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

Mini Badminton Tournament (Poona Racket) held at Infinity Badminton Academy, Sector 5, Gurgaon. This tournament was organized for different age categories for both boys and girls. Our students – Saiyam Nagpal (VIII), Likhit Nasa (VIII), Deepesh (IX), Deevas (VI), Gitgya (V), Yash (V), Aditya Arora (VII), Hardik (VI) and Nandini (IV) participated in the tournament with full gusto. Saiyam Nagpal and Likhit Nasa of Class VIII outshone the tournament and were selected to play with other District or NCR Players. Saiyam Nagpal came out as a winner in U/14 and U/16 Boys Category. Likhit Nasa was declared the Runner Up in U/14 Boys Category.

National Level Spell Bee Competition

The awards for the National Level Spell Bee Competition were given in the Assembly. Students received certificates and medals. Aayush Agarwal of Class VI A, Arsh Jain of Class V B and Kartik Atreja of Class IV A were awarded with the medals for their brilliant performance in National Level Spell Bee Competition and have been selected to appear in International Spell Bee Competition this year.

SOF NSO Level 2 from Haryana Zone

Our students participated in SOF NSO Level 2 from Haryana Zone and bagged prestigious positions in this Olympiad.

Harsh Dahiya through his prowess was able to secure Rank 1 and bagged a cash prize of 5000/- along with certificate of Zonal Excellence.

Roopam Taneja achieved Rank 2 and received the cash prize of 2500/- along  with  certificate of Zonal Excellence.

Jitender Jangra secured NSO Zonal Rank 10 and received a gift coupon of1000/- along with the certificate of Zonal Excellence.

The winning spree of our student Harsh Dahiya continues as he bagged Zonal Rank 9 in SOF International GK Olympiad and was felicitated with a certificate of Zonal Excellence and a gift coupon of1000/-.

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram Outshines in Haryana Zonal Level 2 Olympiads

Preparation and practice make a person pct but commitment makes him a victor. The students of Blue Bells Model School,Sec.4, Gurugram proved their acumen by securing prestigious positions in SOF NSO Level 2 from Haryana Zone. Harsh Dahiya surpassed all contestants by bagging first rank and a cash prize of Rs.5000. He also clinched Zonal Rank 9 in SOF International GK Olympiad. Roopam Taneja earned second rank and a cash prize of Rs.2500. Jitendra Jangra bagged NSO Zonal Rank10 and received a gift coupon f Rs.1000. The winners were awarded with the certificate of Zonal Excellence. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Ms. Chandan Dhawan, Principal of the school showered their heartfelt blessings and felicitated the students for their marvellous accomplishment.
