CBSE NORTH ZONE II SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot hosted CBSE North Zone II Swimming Championship from 29th September – 1st October, 2018. In U/19 Category Priyank Thakran, Shubham Kataria and Rishabh Dhillon of our school took part in the championship to compete against the participants of approximately 300 schools. Priyank was able to make the school proud by clinching away medals after medals in different events. In 1500 m freestyle, 50 m freestyle and 200 m butterfly Priyank Thakran by standing tall on the First Position and was awarded with Gold Medals. He also grabbed a Silver Medal by securing Second Position in 100 m freestyle event.

  The CBSE North Zone II Badminton Tournament was held at The Century School, Karnal from 27th September to 2nd October, 2018. Around 451 schools in all the categories from North Zone II took part in the tournament with full zing. Our U/17 Boys Team comprising of Saiyam Nagpal (VIII B), Deepesh Sachdeva (IX B), Priyansh Jain (X D) and Garveet Bansia (X C) ardently participated in the tournament. After an incessant fight our team was able to reach to Top 8 teams for Quarter Finals

State Athletic Competitions

Every dream can be materialized only when a person has the courage to pursue them with a single-minded devotion. Our students proved this paradigm right by securing laurels and prizes in different athletic events in Haryana Inter-School District Athletic Competition organized at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram from September 10,2018 to September 11, 2018. Subhashish, Yojit, Arushi and Gaurav of Middle Wing won first and second position in 400m Race, Shot Put and Discus Throw respectively and were selected for the prestigious State Athletic Competition.

HARYANA SCHOOL DISTRICT BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2018

The Heritage School organized the Haryana School District Badminton Tournament 2018on 6th & 7th September, 2018. Around 20 schools participated in this prestigious tournament. Three of our teams comprising of Parikshit 7 D, Likhit 8 B, Vedansh 8 D, Saiyam 8 B, Deepesh 9 B, Udit 9 B, Garviit 10 C, Priyansh 10 D and Chirag 11 E participated in various categories – U/14, U/17 & U/19 Boys. The team of boys U/17 bagged the Runners-up title, U/19 secured the third position and U/14 was qualified for Quarter Final Round. Chirag Nagpal and Deepesh Sachdeva have been selected for state team. At the same time Saiyam, Garviit, Priyansh and Udit have to face the challenging round for state team selection.

18th Asian Roller Skating Championship

CLASSEDGE CLASSROOM CHAMPIONSHIP (CCC) 2017-18

Today's generation has a lot of exposure to technology in a big way, so teachers also need to adapt that change. Our teachers have creatively integrated ClassEdge in their teaching to achieve better student engagement and improved learning outcomes. They also participated in ClassEdge Classroom Championship organized by TATA ClassEdge. It is a programme that recognizes and rewards the teachers who have been the torchbearers in adopting technology in classrooms. Around 512 schools participated in the championship. Among the teachers who participated from the North Zone 56 teachers qualified the City level and 8 teachers qualified the Zonal level. Our teachers excelled the championship by qualifying for both Zonal and School Level.

Ms. Kavita Arya was qualified for School Level along with ZONAL LEVEL.

Mr. Harsh Vashisth and Ms. Pooja Chugh were qualified for the School Level.

HARYANA STATE LEVEL SWIMMING COMPETITION

PDM Public School, Bahadurgarh organized Haryana State Level Swimming Competition from August 29 to 31, 2018. Different schools from the entire Gurgaon District took part in the competition. Our students Priyank Thakran of Class XI, Shubham Kataria of Class XI and Rishabh Dhillon of Class X also participated in the competition with great fervor.

Priyank Thakran was appreciated for his commendable performance as he was able to steal the First Position in 50 m Free Style and Second Position in 100 m Free Style under 19 category.

HARYANA INTER SCHOOL GIRLS BLOCK ATHLETIC COMPETITION

Haryana Interschool Girls  Block Athletic Competition was held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium on August 27, 2018. Around 30 to 40 schools participated in the Competition. Our students showcase their forte by clinching various prizes.

Aarushi of Class VII bagged First Position in under 14 category of Shot Put Throw and Second Position in Discus Throw.

Kavya of Class XI bagged Second Position in under 19 category of Shot Put Throw.

Tanvi of Class VII secured Third Position in under 14 category of 100 m Sprint.

Kavya and Aarushi have been selected for District Level.
