SELECTION OF ATL PROJECT –SMART MOBILITY FOR ATL SUMMIT

ATL Marathon was organised on 27th October 2017 at ATL of Blue Bells Public School. In this Marathon students of class VI to IX presented their prototypes to solve various community problems under theme "Swachh Bharat, Agri-Tech, Smart Mobility, Clean Energy And Waste Management". The  project sent by the school ATL Team comprising of Gangesh , Shikhar Srivastav, Dhruv Arora and Karandeep Singh ,  for ATL Marathon has been selected by Niti Ayog under the category "SMART MOBILITY". The results for the same were announced today at ATL FaceBook Page on December 1, 2017.

The project showcases the solution to  the most common problem of Red Light Jumping of the vehicles. The students designed a prototype in which the center of the cross-road is movable and would adjust according to the Green Light . Hence, there would be no jumping of traffic during the Red Light . This would allow the vehicles to move only in the Green Light .  

The students will present the project at first-ever Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) Tinkering Summit to be held on December 16, 2017 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.

UK-INDIA YEAR OF CULTURE 2017

In order to mark UK-India Year of Culture 2017, British Council organized an Inter-school event on October 14, 2017. Our student Kashish Madan of Class VIII participated in Collaborative Story Writing wherein the story was to be written on the given topic and depicted artistically. She fetched second position through her ingenious presentation.

SCIFEST - THE CATALYST

Our students participated  in the Annual Science Event- SCIFEST-THE CATALYST on October 10,2017 organised by DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurgaon. The students participated in all the events and were able to clinch First Position in each event through their outstanding performance.

Blue Bellians brought Laurels in Inter-School Competition

Accomplishment builds self-esteem and self confidence. Blue Bells Model School Sec-4 Gurgaon bears the testimony that dedication coupled with hard work paves the way to success. In a number of competitions held recently at DAV Public School, Sec-14, Gurgaon in the Annual Science Event-SCIFEST-The Catalyst on October10, 2017, the students of Blue Bells School proved their acumen in competing gallantly and achieving glory. The students from Primary and Middle Wing participated in four events ‘Little Buds-a presentation on Medicinal Plant’, ‘Quiz-Guardians of the Catalyst’, ‘Movie Making-Going Green’, and ‘Mark the Treasure’. The contestants enthralled the gathering through their awe-inspiring performance and bagged the first position in all the events. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Principal of the school Ms. Chandan Dhawan blessed and congratulated the students for their earnest efforts.

13th INTERSCHOOL AMITY SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

Amity International School, Sector 43, Gurgaon organized 13^th Inter-School Amity Skating Championship on October 9 & 10, 2017. Our students participated in the championship and brought laurels for the school.

Akansha Mehta of Class IX bagged one Gold and one Bronze Medal

Navan Yadav of Class III bagged two Bronze Medals

Nikita Sahu of Class X bagged two Silver Medals

Livansh Malhotra of Class VI bagged one Bronze Medal

RESEARCH PAPER PRESENTATION COMPETITION

  Salwan Public school, Sector 15, Gurgaon organized an Inter School Research Paper Presentation Competition on the topic ‘GST: GAME CHANGER OR SPOILER’. The students of Classes XI and XII from the Commerce Stream participated in the competition and bagged First Prize in the competition. The proud winners are Yashika Sachdeva of Class XII C, Manya Jhamb of Class XI E, Mridul Razdan of Class XII C and Abhimanyu Kapoor of Class XI C.  

INTERSCHOOL FOLK DANCE COMPETITION

Rajasthani Academy organised an Interschool Folk Dance Competition at Kedarnath Auditorium, New Delhi on October 7, 2017.

Around 31 Schools of good repute from Delhi & NCR participated in this competition where Top 7 winning schools were felicitated. Our talented students presented a colourful and vibrant dance and were able to secure 5th Position. They were honoured with medals, certificates and a cash prize of Rs 2100/-.

MTNL PERFECT HEALTH MELA, NATIONAL HARMONY AND ECO SCHOOL FESTIVAL (DAY 2 & 3)

As the MTNL Perfect Health Mela, National Harmony and Eco School Festival – continues our students participated in full fervor and fetched laurels in all the other competitions they participated in. The prizes won by the students on Day 2 are as follows:

MTNL PERFECT HEALTH MELA, NATIONAL HARMONY AND ECO SCHOOL FESTIVAL

The first ever Perfect Health Mela was conceptualised and organised by Heart Care Foundation of India in 1993. This year the foundation marks its silver jubilee celebrations by organizing MTNL Perfect Health Mela at Talkatora Indoor Stadium New Delhi from 4th- 8th October 2017. The main motif behind organizing this event is to create awareness about all aspects of health for people from all sections of the society and all walks of life incorporating all pathies under one roof using cost effective replicable infotainment modules. The MTNL Perfect Health Mela, National Harmony & Eco School Festival was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal. On the first day of the event our students participated in various competitions under the tutelage of the Health & Wellness Programme mentored by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools. The students surpassed fellow participants in all the events. They made indelible impressions in the following categories:

KHEL MAHAKUMBH TOURNAMENT

The Haryana Government organized Khel Mahakumbh Tournament in various discipline at Jatin Virmani Badminton Court, New Colony, Gurgaon. In Badminton our students participated in three groups i.e. U/14-Boys, U/14-Girls, U/17-Boys. The students bagged third position in all the three events. They were awarded a bronze medal, a certificate and Rs 750/- each. The winners of various categories are as follows:
