Life is about using the whole box of crayons and when you prove your worth by winning a laurel it really fulfills the in depth meaning of the saying.
The students of Blue Bells Model School participated in a Painting Competition held at American Public School on April 22, 2016. The theme of the competition was EARTH DAY. The students were asked to paint jute bags, make collages and banners as per the theme. The participants were – Vidhi Malhotra XII, Kanika Sanon XII, Sachi Tuteja X, Anwesha Sinha X, Khushi Singh VII and Kashish Madan VII.  Vidhi Malhotra of Class XII was able to bag Third Prize for her creative presentation.

Challenges make life interesting and overcoming them make life meaningful. Bluebellians of Blue Bells Model School,Gurgaon believe this and invariably prove their mettle and acumen in every sphere. The institution too provides a platform and congenial atmosphere to nurture its genius and giving them the well deserved recognition. A Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised on February 25,2016 to felicitate the achievers of 10 CGPA of class X session 2014-2015 and the winners of various events of Cyber Mania-2015. The Students who performed the best in the different categories of extra-curricular activities were also honoured and awarded. Ms.AnshukaAneja, Assistant Director IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion by her benign presence.She congratulated and felicitated the achievers by honouring them with prizes. She addressed the gathering and stated that accomplishment comes through action and belief in oneself. She also underlined that the students’ success was the sheer joint efforts of students, parents and teachers.

Many of them are school toppers and have been awarded medals .
Roopam Teneja of class VI D and Jayant Teneja of VIII A qualified for the state level and were awarded with gold medals.

Suruchi Sahitya Kala Competition

12 and 13th of Dec. 2015we always take steps forward, we never leave any chance for we are born to express the rhythm of dance.
The multifaceted students of Blue Bells Model  school participated in the Suruchi Sahitya Kala competition held at Bal Bhawan,sec-4,GGN on 12th and 13th December,2015.14 students of our school participated in solo song ,solo dance and group dance respectively and completed with almost 15 school. Abdul Samad Khan of class X won the acclaim of all judges and bagged first prize in solo folk song,solo patriotic song and solo sufi song. He also acquired the title of Surkumar. Kanika Arora of class XI bagged second prize in solo folk and solo patriotic song. She received the title of Surbala as well. Agniva Bagchi of class VII clinched consolation prize in solo folk song .Samantika of class IX was awarded with first prize in solo dance competition. The judges and the principal of our school congratulated Khushi Jha(VI),Tushar Dabral(IX),Aman Saini(IX),Anshika Goyal(VIII),Rishabh(VIII),Anik Chawla(IX),Himanshi Grover(VIII), and Mannat Arora(VIII) for bagging the first prize in group Dance competition. Moreover the overall best shield was awarded to our school.

18th International Convention on Students’ Quality Circles-2015

Blue Bellians are spreading the glory of their alma mater beyond the national boundaries. Yet another golden chapter was added to the Blue Bells Hall of Fame during the 18th International Convention on students’ Quality Control Circles at City Montessori School, Lucknow. A group of enthusiasts from class X to XII, under the able guidance of Ms. Madhu Gupta, the school coordinator of Quality Circles , attended this convention from Dec 2-5, 2015.
Mr. Arvind Singh Gope (Minister of Rural Development, U.P.) was the Chief Guest in the opening ceremony while the closing ceremony was presided by Sh. S.G. Mishra, Gen. Secretary-All India Railway Federation –New Delhi. Hon. Educational Minister of Sabargamu Province, Sri Lanka, Sh. A P BhanuMunipriya was one of the eminent guests who graced the occasion.
This grand platform of Quality Circle witnessed around 131 participating teams vying for positions in various competitions. Students from U.K., USA, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Ireland, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Nepal and South Africa and number of students from various states of India gave a tough competition (Quality Circle case study presentation) to each other in debates, poster making, slogan writing and collage making competition.
Blue Bellians stole the show with their splendid performance in every activity. The Quality circle team bagged the 2nd Prize and was awarded the ‘Deming Award’. Our debaters Suhani Chawla and Saloni Chhabra bagged the Runners up trophy. Suhani Chawla of class X was adjudged the ‘Best Speaker for the Motion’. The Blue Bells Model School QC team was awarded the 1st Runner up Championship Trophy.
The Director, Dr. Suman Gulati, congratulated the QC coordinator Ms. Madhu Gupta and the participants who did the school proud with their enthusiastic performance.
 

Inter School Robotics Challenge

“Winning is not important but the will to win is”
With these spirits in mind the students of Blue Bells Model School participated in the “Interschool Robotics Challenge” held at Bal Bharti Public School,Pitam Pura,New Delhi  on 7th November, 2015. The students those who participated were: Aarav (V B), Akagra (V C),  Yathartha (V C), Mitesh (V B),Anwesha(IV B), Ayesha (IV B), Raunaq(V A) ,Snigdha (V C) Manan (IV C), Ayush (VI A), Dhruv (VI C) , Aarav (VI C) ,Priyansh (IV C),Prashant (IV C) from Junior category and Saksham(VII C), Gautam (VIII A) ,Yash (VII B), Amrit (VI A), Yatin (VII C), Dushyant (VIII C), Mayank (VII A), Darpan (VIII A), Sumit (VI C) from the Middle wing. There were many prestigious schools from different zones. There were schools like The Shiv Nadar Public School, Heritage School , Delhi Public School, Bal Bharti, Blue Bells Public School etc. Blue Bells always makes a mark how much difficult the competition may be. This time the school brought the Third Prize from the junior category and the teams from the Middle wing were selected in the top 5 teams. Students also participated in other Zonal rounds at the Heritage School, Gurgaon on 21th November, 2015 and on 27th November, 2015 at Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka. This time also the students made the school proud by bringing laurels. The junior team brought the Third  prize and both the teams from middle category team bought the 1st and 2nd Prize home. Not only that, a team from each category of our schools was selected for the grand finale.
The competition was really tough but our students performed well and made a mark till the finale. Students also came to learn a lot through this experience. As a whole they enjoyed the event a lot….

CBSE National Swimming championship,2015

Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: a dream, a drive and a vision
Kunal Thakran of class XI participated in CBSE national swimming championship held at Karan Public School,Meerut.
Around 400 students from all over India participated in the championship . Kunal bagged two  silver medals  amidst cut throat competition with his unbeatable vigour and zeal.

8th Dist . SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP2015-16

Let’s Put Our Hearts in 7th and 8th nov’ 15 every activity .This will be the secret of our success .
With this thought the B.B attended the 8th Dist , skating championship 2015-16 Held at Baliwas,Gurgoan Skaters Rink on 7th November 2015 and 8th November ,2015  with Mr. Surrender Kapoor(observation from Haryana Roller Skating Association) as the Judge .Over 385 students participated. Our student Akagra, Khushal, Akanksha and Abhijatya participated in this .Khushal bagged a Bronze in 300 mtrs TT (Quards), Akagra got 3 Bronze in 300 mrts TT ,500 mtrs and 1000 mtrs Race (in line) , Akanksha bagged 3 gold’s in 300 mtrs TT ,500 mtrs and 1000 mtrs {Quards} and Abhijtya bagged 1 gold in 300 mtrs and 1 bronze in 500 mtrs {in line} . We are proud of these students.                                                    
 

National Psychology Olympiad

A national Psychology Olympiad was organized in the National science centre, pragati Maidan. Dr. Jitender Nagpal of the jury while Dr. Patel was the chief guest. The following students participated in it:

The students were given a beautiful platform to perform in various events like thematic painting, movie analysis, national psyquiz and poster exhibition were organized for the students.
Thematic painting was the theme based, on-the-spot event. Annie bagged 2nd position in it.

Inter school debate competition

An Inter school debate competition was conducted in Rotary Public School, on Branch level through ICAI.The judges and resource people were –The chairman –Mr. Lalit Jain, secretary-Mr. Sanjal Goyal and Ms. Parul from the institute of charted accounts (India). The topic for the debate was ‘Death Penalty whether it should continue or be banned ‘. Saloni Chhabra and Simran Jain of class XI participated: one for the motion and the other against it and won the 1st and 2nd prize along with school and participation trophy. The winners of this competition wil, take part in the Regional level competition held by ICAI regional councils.
