VIRTUOSO HUNT (DPSG, Palamvihar)

Our students participated in an Interschool Poster Making Competition – Virtuoso Hunt held at DPSG, Palamvihar. The theme of the poster making was – Swachch Bharat. The posters of Kashish Bhasin and Chitrakshi (Class VIII) were selected among the best eight posters out of thirty selected posters. They were awarded Rs 500/- as cash prize along with a certificate.

OPEN DISTRICT BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP 2016-17

VENUE: Prem Sabha Badminton Club, New Colony, Gurgaon

Badminton is like ballet dancing. It requires a lot of control, strength, mind play and measured movements. The students of the school showcased their brilliance in the sport by competing with the students in the Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final Rounds of the District Level Tournament. Shivani Yadav of Class X C was able to achieve success by winning various positions. She bagged Runners-up Position Under 17 Girls Category, declared Winner in Under 19 Girls Category as well as Mixed Doubles. She has been selected for the State Level Tournament. She also received a Trophy, Medal and Cash Prize worth Rs 4000/- for her vigorous stance displayed by her in the court.

First Real Gold Skating Championship 2016 was held on July 17, 2016. The Secretary of Indian Ice-skating Association, Mr. Jagraj Singh, honoured the various participants. Our student – Kushagra – participated in 500m Boys’ Quad Skating and bagged 3rd position.

It is an immense pleasure and pride to announce that Ankit Goyal, a brilliant prodigy of Blue Bells Model School, Sector-4, Gurgaon secured All India 44th rank in the IIT JEE Advance 2016 and has been declared Gurgaon District Topper. He is class XII, Science stream topper as well.

With the announcement of class X result, the premises of Blue Bells Model School, Sector- 4, Gurgaon, reverberated with peals of laughter. Weaving yet another success story, the result of the scholastic and Co- scholastic assessments has brought an astounding figure of 100 A1s overall. Out of 158 students, 51 students have bagged the coveted CGPA 10.
 The jubilant students attribute their success to single-minded devotion and highly motivating Management, Parents and faculty. It is with great pleasure that we share that Deepansh Goyal and Sanmukh Sinha of class XII have been selected for KVPY fellowship award  i.e  Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana , an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.

FASHION at its BEST

The students of Blue Bells Model School are soaring the sky proving their worth by being selected in various institutes. Three of our students have been able to secure their seats in NIFT (National Institute for Fashion Designing). The students are – Bhoomika Sharma, Bhoomika Singh and Vaibhav Kathpalia.

TECH WINNERS

P.A.T.H.2016 was organized at Pathways, Noida on April 26, 2016. Our students participated in various competitions in App Development, Audio Mixing and Photography. They were appreciated by everyone for their effortless endeavours. The App developed for the competition – APP DEVELOPMENT – received accolade fetching Akshay Verma, Gauri Verma, Sachin and Udeshya Chugh of Class XII D FIRST position.

CREATIVE CREATION

The students of Classes X to XII participated in MELANGE 2016 held at DAV Public School, Sector 14, on April 25, 2016. Deepanshi of Class X C, Vaishnavi of Class XI B and Simran Jain of Class XII C took part in the Creative Writing Competition. They were given a Special Mention Award for their impressive writing on the given topic.
