Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Session

The school focuses on nurturing the financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills of our students. In sync, the first session was conducted by the Upsurge Association in collaboration with Blue Bells Model School which marked a significant step in developing financial literacy skill .

The inaugural session witnessed active participation and enthusiasm from our students. The Upsurge team, experts in the field of financial literacy and entrepreneurship, engaged our students with interactive activities and real-life examples. This hands-on approach allowed our students to grasp financial concepts effectively. 

This session is just the beginning of our journey to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship among our students. We believe that by taking these steps, we are not only nurturing smart money managers but also future entrepreneurs who will contribute positively to society.

Dussehra Assembly (Primary Wing)

Let the effigy of Ravana burning signify the removal of all negativity from your life, leaving room for positivity and prosperity. 

On the special day of Dussehra, we celebrate bravery, courage and the triumph of good over evil. The Theatre Club students of Primary Wing conducted a special assembly on Dussehra.  The play kept the audience engrossed

highlighting the values that we need to imbibe in the contemporary society and true essence of celebrating Dussehra.

The Assembly began with Vandana followed by the significance of the special day. The Principal, Ms Alka Singh shared the words of wisdom with students. Primary Wing In-charge, Ms Pallavi Sinha apprised the students about the importance of the festival and blessed them for their mesmerizing performance, while inspiring everyone to always follow the path of truth.

During the event, students adorned themselves in vibrant traditional attires, adding a colourful touch to the assembly. The atmosphere was filled with cultural richness and enthusiasm. The assembly concluded on a high note with spirited performances of Garba and Dandiya, leaving everyone captivated by the lively display of cultural heritage and talent.

Halloween Day(Primary Wing)

Halloween’s Magic

In the enchanted halls of Blue Bells Model School, the young souls embraced the spirit of Halloween with fervour. Draped in ghostly veils, adorned as witches and vampires, the primary wing students ventured into a world of imagination. Their creativity flourished as they meticulously carved Halloween pumpkins, transforming ordinary gourds into spooky masterpieces. The classroom, a canvas of their creativity, bloomed with eerie decorations, painting an atmosphere of enchantment. Under the guidance of Mr. Vikas Sharma, a captivating storyteller, the day unfolded with interactive sessions. Sharma's narratives wove moral threads, encouraging the students to deduce profound values from the tales, fostering both imagination and wisdom.

Amidst the laughter and merriment, the highlight of the day was the beloved tradition of trick-or-treating. With joyous hearts and wide smiles, the little ones embarked on a delightful journey, knocking on doors and collecting sweet treasures. This memorable Halloween celebration became a vibrant tapestry of learning and fun, where youthful innocence met the magic of storytelling, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and minds.

Pearl Academy recently conducted an insightful awareness session at Blue Bells Model School, emphasizing the intriguing connection between fashion and artificial intelligence. The session, led by Mr Prashanth Muthuswamy from Pearl Academy, delved into the intersection of these two diverse fields, shedding light on the innovative ways in which AI is shaping the future of fashion. Students and faculty members were captivated as they explored how technology is revolutionizing design processes, predicting fashion trends, and enhancing customer experiences. The session provided a unique platform for attendees to grasp the symbiotic relationship between fashion and AI, inspiring creative thinking and fostering a deeper understanding of the industry's evolving landscape.

In a motivational session tailored for Class XI students at Blue Bells Model School, Mr Madan Lal Jain, a mentor and life coach, eloquently highlighted the profound significance of time management and character development in an individual's life. Drawing wisdom from the Bhagwat Geeta, he emphasized the timeless teachings encapsulated in ancient scriptures. With a captivating delivery, Mr. Jain underscored the importance of utilizing time wisely, urging students to recognize it as a valuable resource that can shape their future. His insightful discourse on character, rooted in the ethical teachings of the Bhagwat Geeta, resonated deeply, encouraging students to nurture virtues like integrity, resilience, and empathy.

FIRST EDITION OF STUDENT LED CONFERENCE

Blue Bells Model School proudly hosted its inaugural Student Led Conference on November 4, 2023. The event was a testament to the commitment towards providing a progressive and inclusive educational experience. Organized for students from grades VI to VIII, the conference was an initiative by ‘The Learning Space’ – The L & D Department under the guidance of Ms. Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director Academics Development & Innovation.

 The primary objective of the Student Led Conference was to empower students to take charge of their learning journey. The conference served as a platform for students to actively participate in sharing their learning experiences, mapping their progress, and articulating their learning goals. By adopting an innovative approach, this initiative aimed to bridge the gap between students and parents, facilitating a deeper understanding of the educational process.

 The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who eagerly showcased their achievements, learning methodologies, and personal growth to their parents. The students took the lead, presenting their learning journey through engaging presentations, displays, and interactive sessions. This not only highlighted their academic progress but also emphasized their development in critical skills such as communication, confidence, and leadership. The conference was structured to display how various teaching practices and methodologies have positively impacted the students. It was a collaborative effort, fostering a sense of partnership between the school, students, and their families. The event was a showcase of academic prowess and a celebration of the students' joy and enthusiasm for learning. The sessions were interactive, offering parents an insight into the day-to-day classroom experiences and educational activities.

Dandiya Night 2023

"Dandiya isn't just a dance;

it's a celebration of traditions,

a fusion of beats, and a testament to the spirit of unity."

 The Dandiya Night celebration was organized by Blue Bells Model School with the aim of promoting cultural diversity and fostering a sense of unity among our students. The event took place on October 21^st 2023 in the enchanting ambience of our school from 6:00-10:00 PM. The school was beautifully decorated with vibrant colours, traditional Indian motifs, and fairy lights, creating a festive atmosphere for our students, parents, and staff, creating an atmosphere of unity, joy, and festivity. There was an impressive turnout, approximately 1200 students, parents, and staff members in attendance. It was heartening to see such active participation from the school community

The spiritual ambience of the event was heightened with a traditional pooja ceremony  by our  honourable Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director Blue Bells Group of Schools, Mr Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, BBGS and Ms. Soumya Gulati,  Deputy Director of Academic Development and Innovation ,BBGS, Management members and Principals of reputed schools. Students and parents gathered to participate in the ritual, chanting sacred shlokas that added a sense of sanctity to the occasion. The school ground was illuminated with the soft glow of diyas, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.

The melodious evening was filled with soulful bhajans and devotional songs that echoed through the air. The highlights of the evening were the energetic and colourful Dhunuchi dance performance by our dance teachers, Group Dance by children based on Vasudev Kutumbkam, Rajasthani Dance by kidoos adorned in traditional attire, enthralled the audience with their rhythmic and synchronized dance moves.

A variety of delicious traditional Indian snacks and refreshments were made available to the attendees. Local vendors volunteered to set up food stalls, offering a wide range of mouth-watering delicacies. Navaratri Special food stalls for all those who were fasting. This culinary experience added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. There were various other attractions like Nail Art, Hair Braiding, Tattoo Artist, Mehandi, Jewellery stalls offering different styles, from traditional to contemporary, handmade to vintage. For the little ones Bouncy Castle and Trampoline etc.

The Dandiya Night celebration was a resounding success, encapsulating the essence of unity, cultural diversity, and joy. The event provided a platform for our students to showcase their talents, and the active participation of parents and staff members contributed significantly to its success. Through events like these, our school continues to foster a sense of community, understanding, and harmony among all its members.

‘INIZIO’: A BEGINNING, HEALTH & WELLNESS FIESTA 2023-24 ON THE THEME ‘GRANDPARENTS- OUR GUIDING STARS’

We, at Blue Bells Model School, believe that every child is potentially the light of the world. To hone and sharpen the life skills of the multi-talented youngsters today, as well as to provide a platform where Gen Now can share and exchange their creative, critical, and innovative ideas, ‘Inizio’: A Beginning, Health & Wellness Fiesta, an annual event exclusively designed for Primary Wing students, was organized on September 29, 2023, under the aegis of the Health & Wellness Programe, BBMS. The theme for the celebration was “Grandparents: Our Guiding Stars.” The Health & Wellness Team, under the inspiring guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, conceptualized the event as a platform for innovation and self-expression.

A wide range of activities were crafted by the Health & Wellness team, to unleash creativity within the young scholars. These included ‘Souvenirs for Grandparents’ for Class III, ‘Creative Planner for Grandparents’ for Class IV, and ‘Creative Organizers for Grandparents’ for Class V. The students enthusiastically participated in these activities, expressing their love and gratitude towards their grandparents.  The students' work was artistically showcased during the Grandparents Day Celebration on September 30, 2023, garnering considerable acclaim and acknowledgment from the audience. This occasion marked a distinctive initiative by the Health & Wellness Team to foster a connection between students and our cultural heritage, highlighting the pivotal role of elders in our families.

Dr. Alka praised the dedication of the young Blue Bellians and encouraged them to stay connected to their heritage, emphasizing the crucial role grandparents play as strong pillars of support within families as radiant stars and guiding angels.

The joyful atmosphere and excitement exhibited by both students and visitors at the event stand as a proud testament to the unwavering dedication of the BBMS Health & Wellness Team.

CYBERMANIA 2023

Blue Bells Model School hosts Cybermania 2023- An Interschool Mega IT Fest

"Technological innovation is the juncture where creativity meets progress, ushering in the digital future."

Blue Bells Model School is at the forefront of Education 5.0, revolutionizing the learning experience through innovative approaches. In an era where technology is ubiquitous, promoting IT proficiency and digital literacy is of utmost importance. Embracing this profound philosophy, the school successfully organized Cybermania 2023 with the theme ARTE INDIAE on October 28, 2023, under the able guidance of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director, IT, BBGS. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director BBGS, graced the event as the Chief Guest in the Opening Ceremony. A total of 29 schools from Gurugram and Delhi NCR, along with 450 enthusiastic IT aspirants, participated in an array of 14 fun-filled online and offline competitions.

The opening ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana. Ms. Alka Singh the Principal of the school accorded a formal welcome to all the eminent jury members and the participants by stating that through a series of engaging and intellectually stimulating competitions, participants would not only showcase their technical prowess but also enhance their problem-solving skills. Ms. Anshuka Aneja officially declared the event open and extended her blessings to all the participants.

The closing ceremony began with a briefing of school’s initiative to bring cyber awareness among the students from time to time by Himanshi Sharma, the Cyber Congress Ambassador of the school. Dr. Rakshit Tandon, the Cyber Security Evangelist graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the Closing Ceremony.  He addressed the students and empowered them with the knowledge of cybercrime and their safety norms. Dr. Gaurav Kapoor, resource person CBSE Curriculum was the keynote speaker. Sir, spoke on the importance of creativity and innovation that will change the present world. A beautiful snapshot video was shown capturing each and every moment of the event’s preparation and participants’ excitement and pulsating venues. An enthralling beatboxing by Gatik Yadav and Moksh Chugh captivated the attention of the audience. A presentation of Rajasthani group dance by the school students mesmerized and made everyone sway to their rhythmic and vibrant movements.

In the prize distribution ceremony Dr Rakshit Tandon, Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Principal of the school and the esteemed jury congratulated the achievers of the various competitions and felicitated them with certificates and trophies. The Overall Trophy was proudly clinched by DAV Sector 14, Gurugram and the Runner’s Up Trophy was won by  Blue Bells Model School, which being the host school passed it on to the next winners ,Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sec-10, Gurugram. Mementoes were given to the esteemed jury and guests as a token of reverence and gratitude. Ms. Anshuka Aneja appreciated the endeavours of the student organisers and applauded them for making the event a commendable one. CyberMania,2023 indeed has proved to be a grand success as it  has imparted  not only knowledge to the students but also nurtured essential skills thereby  preparing them, to excel in the dynamic landscape of the 21st century.

INTERNATIONAL CONNECT

BBMS with Sanxia Junior High School, Taiwan   “The earth is but one country and Mankind its citizens.”   Bluebells Model school had their first interaction with Sanxia Junior High School, Taiwan on 20th October, 2023. Thirty-five students from Grade VIII participated from our school. After a brief introduction of the students from both the schools, a walkthrough video was exchanged by both the participating schools.   Learning about different places plays a significant role in nurturing relationship. It develops a healthy community and enhances problem-solving skills. The students of both the schools deliberated and developed an understanding on the cultural differences among countries of the world. Presentations were made on the Food and culture by both the schools. The spirit of learning was enhanced among the students and was beneficial in helping them to strengthen bonds and transcend geographical boundaries.
