Rather than living in a bubble where everyone lives in the same place and speaks the same language, those who are multilingual can form relationships with people across the country. Language barriers are broken, and friendships are made. Plus, cross country  relationships are imperative for global awareness and global thinking. When you learn another language, your worldview changes for the better.

‘LA Fête De La Langue’—A Festival of Languages Edition IV Chapter 2022- 2023

is a befitting platform to understand more deeply the preeminence of languages for it is, the power, life and instrument of culture, the instrument of domination and liberation. We , at Blue Bells believe that every language is a projection of a different vision of life which contributes in transcending barriers and strengthening emotional bindings across humanity. 

In an effort to celebrate the grandeur of languages and appreciate them in their varied moods and genres, Blue Bells Model School hosted the Closing Ceremony of ‘La Fete De La Langue’-A Festival of Languages Edition IV Chapter 2022-23 on 26^th November 2022 under the aegis of GPSC.

Dr Karan Singh, Rajbhasha Department , Ministry of Home Affairs  graced the occasion as the Chief Guest . He addressed the gathering and reflected on the importance of learning languages which fosters culture awareness and acceptance. We were privileged to have amongst us Dr Wazir, Ms Seema Nagar, Mr Saksham Kathuria and Ms Pratishtha as our eminent jurors.

 The two-day mega event commenced with the lighting of the diyas to pay our obeisance to Late Shri. B.D.Gulatiji , Founder Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools . The Principal of the school accorded a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and  emphasized on the importance of Vasudev Kutumbakam through varied languages.

The contestants put forth their  thought provoking views and exhibited their prowess in various events like Contra Opinion, Kavya Abhinay, Laghu Natika, Rap A Beat and Kavya Goshthi . In the Closing-cum-Valedictory Ceremony, the cynosure was the dance performance based on Sustainable Development Goals and multilinualism.

Dr.Saroj Suman Gulati, Director Blue Bells Group of Schools congratulated all the winners and appreciated the efforts of the organizing team to make the event a grand success. The Overall Winner Trophy was clinched by RPS-50, Gurugram  while Runner up was Blue Bells Public School,Sector 10 A Gurugram . ‘LA FÊTE DE LA LANGUE’- Edition IV Chapter 2022-23 A Festival of Languages was a humble attempt of the school to bring the grandeur of language alive.

Literature broadens our minds since we gain a better understanding of people who are different from us. Since literature displays such effects, we are encouraged to pay attention to the full range of human experiences as we make decisions in our daily lives. In addition to improving our writing skills, the many forms of literature manifesting itself in poetry, fiction, prose, drama, etc., unfold before our eyes the secrets of the big bright world.

Broadening the horizon of the readers and helping them think out of the box, Blue Bells Model School hosted 'La Fete De La Langue, A Festival of Languages Chapter-IV 2022-23 under the aegis of GPSC. The opening ceremony was on 25th November 2022. Ms Soumya Gulati,Deputy Director Academic Development and Innovation Blue Bells Group of Schools declared the event open  amidst the talented and over enthusiastic contestants.She addressed the gathering and reflected on the importance of language, a medium of communication.We were privileged to have amongst Ms Tanu Bhardwaj, Ms. Meenakshi, Mr. Mayank Malik, Ms. Durgesh Budhiraja, Ms Vandana Sanon, Ms Aarti Sethi, Mr Charlie, Ms Arunavo, Mr Mayank Gullier, Mr Pratham, Mr Pooja, Ms Seema Siyal as our revered judges for various events for the day.

Ms Alka Singh ,the Principal of the school accorded a warm welcome to the august gathering emphasizing the key role that language plays in one’s life. A mellifluous song “ Bhaishyain”   gave a befitting start to the mega event.

Around 21 schools with 450  participants and 14 interesting and absorbing events made this Fest spectacular. The day witnessed the  events : Shravan and Chitrankan , Prakriti Abhivyakti, Lingua Arte, Grammathon, Perspective Photography, ¡Vamos A España!, ¡Buen Provecho!, La Chanson Sur Des Saisons , Une Publicité Sur Les Appareils  Électriques and Folk Fusion wherein students showcased their supreme command and skill of using the language and earned a huge appreciation from judges and fellow contestants.

 The event was an earnest effort to expand horizons and comprehend the galore of languages.

CAREER CONFLUENCE

‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’

It is rightly said that dreams are extremely important and one can’t transform the dream into reality unless one imagines it. The Health & Wellness Programme of Blue Bells Group of Schools believes in this axiom and keenly strives to empower its students to give wings to their imagination and choose the right path to have a rewarding and fulfilling life.

In pursuance with the same objective, Students and Parents were apprised of the wide spectrum of career choices available.The Health & Wellness programme of the school organized Career Confluence under the patronage and able guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, for the Students and Parents of Classes IX -XII  from 17^th November  to 19^th November 2022.

The session on the topic, "How to Get Selected in Top 100 Universities of the World” was conducted for Class XI & XII on 17^th November by Mr. Harsh Radhwa, resource person from I-Step organization. He has been instrumental in helping to devise, develop and deliver comprehensive strategic and tactical plans for various education brands. He apprised the students about the eligibility criteria, admission procedures, courses and the scholarship schemes offered by various international universities.

Mr. Vineet Vaidya, Mechanical Engineer by profession , addressed the students of classes IX & X  on 18^th November 2022.  He acquainted students on the importance of planning for their career in advance. He also clarified certain common myths regarding stream selection and guided them to opt the right stream based on their aptitude and potential.

The Resource persons from Pratham organization - Mr. Binit Binod along with Mr. Vaidya familiarized the students of classes XI & XII with the emerging career options in the field of Science, Commerce and Humanities. They also cleared certain misconceptions regarding different career choices .They updated the students about the plethora of courses and institutions available to pursue their higher studies and suggested them to explore the off-beat and unconventional careers that best suit to their aptitude, interest, skills, passion and personality.

The Health & Wellness team realizes that it is imperative for Parents to identify

their child’s aptitudes, interests, career goals and aspirations in order to make well-informed decisions concerning higher education.

   To further acquaint the Parents of Students for the classes IX-XII about career choices for their wards, based on their wards aptitude and potential, a workshop was organized  on 19^th November 2022. The resource person was Mr. Praveen Khanna, a government certified Business Communication Specialist and a Certified Training & Development Manager, He is working for over a decade and a half with students, he also has an enriching experience working from the national level test prep organizations to the Business Schools. Mr. Khanna explained Parents about their ward’s potential and how to choose the best stream for him/her according to the child’s  area of interest. While addressing the Parents, he categorically emphasized on emerging Science, Commerce and Humanities careers and fallacies regarding many professional careers. He also updated the Parents about the plethora of courses and institutions available to pursue their higher studies.

The sessions concluded with an effective interaction, wherein everyone’s query was dealt with proficiency and dexterity.

The students were also informed about the Career Counseling Committee. The Confluence certainly achieved its objective with an overwhelming participation of Students as well as Parents.

CYBERMAZE 2022-23 (Closing Ceremony)

Blue Bells Model School under the able guidance and patronage of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools organized Cyber Maze 2022-23, A Mega Intra School IT Fest from October 17 to November 21, 2022 to bring forth the dynamism and prolific aspect of technology in the hands of tech-savvy generation. The theme for this year was ALOT (Artificial Intelligence and Internet of things. An array of interesting competitions related to AI & Internet of things were designed for the students to exhibit their creativity and IT skills in the enigmatic world of technology.

Dr Rakshit Tandon, the renowned Cyber Security Expert was the Chief Guest of the event. He met Cyber Congress and also conducted a workshop on Cyber Safety.Dr Tandon applauded the collective efforts of students and teachers in making the event a great success.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anshuka Aneja , Deputy Director -IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools, shared that the motive of CyberMaze2022- 23 was to promote originality, creative and innovative spirit among students so that they become futuristic and dynamic leaders. The achievers of various IT Competitions were declared and their efforts were highly lauded by all.

The eventful day concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Alka Singh,Principal , Blue Bells Model School .

International Connect Korea

    At Blue Bells Model School, we strive to strengthen our bonds globally. Taking a step further we got an opportunity to interact with the students of Pungsaeng Middle   School(Korea) on the topic “Teen’s life” through a zoom session on November 15,2022 at 10:55am. Connecting with others gives us a sense of inclusion, connection, interaction, safety, and community. The session initiated with greetings of mentors from both the schools. Thereafter, all the students introduced themselves and felt enthusiast for the session. The eight topics were chosen for discussion like, exams, future, internet addiction, family relationship etc. Both the schools played Mystery Teens Life game in which both team chose one among 8 issues, and other school was to guess that what really they are depicting. The students enjoyed the game thoroughly. The students of Blue Bells Model School shared a power point presentation on Future. On the other hand students from Korea showcased their presentation on Examination. At the end both the schools gave a special performance .Ms.Alka Singh, Principal Blue Bells Model School thanked Mr.Daniel Park for such a fruitful session.

Annual Sport’s Day- Closing Ceremony

‘Sports are about incredible moments where sheer human will and desire overcomes all obstacles and challenges.’

Sports are the essence of life which not only build character but also serve as great teachers and motivators. It mirrors life’s trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows, hopes and losses and grooms the overall personality of a sports person. To experience the flavour and spirit of life, Closing Ceremony of Annual Sport’s Day, Atheltasia 2022 was commemorated for the students of BBMS on 13^th November 2022.The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mohit Grewal, Wrestler, Commonwealth Bronze Medalist 2021 and Guests of Honour Mr. Kunal Thakran, a Commercial Pilot, International Swimmer and an Alumnus of BBMS and Devershee Sachan, International Para Athlete Champion. The presence of the Director BBGS, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati added charm to the ceremony and blessings to the participants. The event commenced with the hoisting of Sport’s Flag by the Chief Guest followed by the March Past by the NCC cadets and four House students and oath-taking by the Sport’s Captain Kritika. The torch relay by the State and National Level winners of the school was a spectacular sight for the spectators as each running step conveyed the message of success, integrity, camaraderie, peace, teamwork and hope for the future. With an invigorating heart of a sportsman, Mohit Grewal declared the Athletics Meet 2022-23 open. The melodic group song ‘Kadam milakar chalna hoga…’ and mass drill interlaced with Dumbles, Lazium, Swiss Ball, Yoga, Aerobics & Pyramids entranced all the onlookers.

Interesting races like 50m Balloon Brust Race for class III Girls, Hoola Hoop Relay Race for class IV Boys, 100 m Tray Ball Zig Zig Race for class V Boys, Box Relay Race for class VI Boys, 100 m Sack Race for class VII Boys, 100 m Race for classes VIII& XI Boys & Girls, 200 m Race for classes IX & X Boys, 4X100m Relay Race for class X Girls, 200 m Hurdle Race for class XI Boys and 4X200m Relay Race  for class XI were organized and everyone observed the passionate participation of the zealous Blue Bellians. Parents’ participation in few fun-filled events like 200m for men,100m for women, Tug of War for men and women, Partner Relay Race for Couples and Dress up your Ward in School Uniform for parents of class III-V students was a remarkable and motivating sight for everybody. The splendid event was wrapped beautifully when the school’s melodious singers sang in unison ‘Shabaash kya khela re…’lauding all the participants. The Chief Guest and Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati felicitated the winners by giving away the trophies. Tagore House won the Champion Trophy and Indira Gandhi House bagged the Runner’s Trophy. Before the declaration of the Athletic Meet Close, the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and saluted the indomitable sportsman spirit of all the participants which got manifested in their outstanding performance in the ground. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks given by the Sport’s Captain who thanked each and everyone who worked relentlessly to make Athletics Meet 2022-23 a grand success.

Children's Day Assembly

“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of our nation and the citizens of tomorrow” by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Blue Bells Model School wishes A Very Happy Children’s Day to our students and to the little child inside everyone. "We were all children once. We all share the desire for the wellbeing of our children, who has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind." A day marking childhood- Children’s day celebration focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter, popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’. The occasion is celebrated every year with grandeur, splendor and fiesta in Blue Bells Model School. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. A special Assembly was conducted for children with an endearing presentation by the teachers. The celebration began with the Morning Prayer, followed by variety of events like beautiful song sung by the Primary teachers, Story Telling sessions, Dance and Zumba session. The students of grade III dressed up in according to their favourite characters for Role-Play activity.  It was a fun- filled day for our Primary students. The assembly was addressed by Madam Principal Ms Alka Singh and Ms Pallavi Sinha Primary Wing In-charge. They appreciated the efforts of teachers. FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATION 2022

‘Success means having the courage, the determination and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.’

Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try. Success lies in the heart and is activated by the hope that lies in the dream. Sri B.D. Gulati, Founder Chairman of BBGS was an idealist, a visionary who with whole-hearted dedication and efforts laid the foundation of Blue Bells Model School long back and had shaped the lives of countless young individuals.

Blue Bells Model School commemorated its 43^rd Founder’s Day. A pious hawan along with the chanting of mantras to invoke the Almighty and seek his blessings set a divine ambience for the celebration. Sapling plantation by Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools and distribution of plants by the NCC cadets of the school conveyed the message that Blue Bellians care for Mother Earth. An inter-house flower decoration competition was organized on D-day for Primary Wing . The students enthusiastically took part in the competition and their knowledge about the flowers was incredible. The participants used different combinations of flowers to present their artistic skills and spread the message of togetherness.  Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati showered her blessings to her students and faculty members and wished the school to grow to excellence in the realm of education.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY-OPENING

Champions aren’t made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision.

Games and sports have become an integral element of present-day education. They teach them the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit and leadership. They also enhance the physical and mental development of children. In sync, the school inaugurated the Annual Sports Day on 10^th November 2022. The day was graced by Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Kunal Thakran, Alumnus, Ace Champion and Ace Commercial Pilot.

The eventful day commenced with Inter-House Cross Country Competition in Sec-4, Gurugram. The highly energetic students participated in the competition with zeal and passion. The event proceeded further with the hoisting of Sport’s Flag by the Chief Guest followed by the March Past by the NCC Cadets and Band students. A melodious group song ‘Kadam milkar chalna hoga…’ and mass demonstration through a Marathi Lezium Dance enthralled and captivated the spectators. With an inspirational heart & sportsmanship fervour, revered Director ma’am declared the Athletics Meet 2022-23 Open. Few races like Frog Jump Relay Race for class III Boys, Three Balloon Race for class IV Boys, Ball Collection Relay Race for class V Girls, 4X100 m. Flag Relay Race for class VII Boys, 4X100 m Relay Race for class VIII Boys & XI Girls and 110 m Hurdle Race for class IX Boys were organized and everyone witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the ardent Blue Bellians. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour felicitated the winners by giving away the trophies. Kunal Thakran in his speech appreciated all the athletes of the day for their grit and determination. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati in her address to the students stated that to be a remarkable athlete, one must cultivate the mindset of a winner and every challenge is an opportunity to develop a new strength and achieve new heights.

SAFE & GREEN DIWALI CELEBRATION

‘The festive light of Diwali brings in abounding happiness for all.’ Diwali is a festival that signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. However, in recent years, extravagant celebrations have not only put a great strain on the environment but have also put people’s health at stake. Air pollution levels rise to dangerous levels, energy, and food wastage increase exponentially, plastic packaging and cracker debris litter the roads and several people and animals suffer physically.

Keeping these environmental, health & safety factors in mind, Safe and Green Diwali was celebrated under the aegis of the Health & Wellness Programme of the school in the Middle & Senior Wing and Primary Wingon October 19 & 21, 2022 respectively. To root the students in the rich cultural heritage along with sensitizing them to preserve the resources, age-specific events were designed under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS. Ma’am is constantly working to integrate the best emergent practices of Values and Life Skills in the system.

A Special Assembly was organized for Primary Wing students by the Peer Educators of Classes VI & VII on the Safe and Green Diwali theme. Peer educators presented the story in a creative manner through attractive props. The presentation was appreciated by all. Do’s and Don’t of the celebration were briefed to the students followed by an interactive Quiz. The students of the Middle & Senior Wing were engrossed in a plethora of activities -Class VI was involved in Card Making /Rangoli Designing, Class VII worked on Best out of Waste and Class VIII prepared a Recipe Booklet of Homemade Sweets. Class IX added melody to the occasion by composing Jingles on Diwali. The activities helped the students to think deeper and understand the true essence of celebration and propelled them to review the situation from a different perspective.

The team urged the learners to ‘SAY NO TO CRACKERS’ and celebrate a Safe & Green Diwali. It was an earnest attempt by the Health and Wellness Team to create sensitivity on the issue along with creating an understanding of the real essence of celebrating Diwali.
