We, at Blue Bells Model School, believe in honing our students' talent by providing them an equal chance to take part in various events. Talent Hunt is one such event that offers an excellent opportunity to the students to promote self-learning among themselves and develop their confidence, analytical as well as logical skills. The students of Grade III were given a unique platform to showcase their talent through Talent Hunt Show organized by Primary Wing. There were participants in all categories. They enthusiastically exhibited their talent by singing melodious songs, reciting heart-touching poems, narrating thought-provoking stories, and spell-bound dance performances. They confidently played musical instruments.

Students were extremely confident, dedicated, and gave marvelous performances. Students energetically participated in this event and displayed their ability magnificently.

FAREWELL MATCHES FOR OUTGOING BATCH 2021-22

“SOMETIMES YOU NEVER KNOW THE VALUE OF A MOMENT UNTIL IT BECOMES A MEMORY”

No distance or lapse of time can weaken the bonds of friendship and to celebrate this beautiful relationship, ‘Farewell Matches’ of Football and Basketball  were organised by Blue Bells model School for the outgoing batch of XII 2021-22 and the current batch of XII 2022-23. The matches were fused with sense of dignity and sportsmanship as the students went on accepting the challenges in the playground. XII batch 2021-22 was declared the winner for Football as well as Basketball match. There was a noteworthy display of enthusiasm and zeal from both the sides of players. They were  cheered with an equal amount of liveliness from the spectators and loud applause and thunderclaps engulfed the perimeter of the court.  The principal of the school, Ms.Alka Singh, the sports faculty  and the teaching fraternity applauded the passion, comradeship  and zest of the students.

E-CELL LAUNCH

CREATIVITY IN LIFE IS TO UNFOLD, EMBRACE AND EXPLORE NEW IDEAS.’

To think differently and to think ahead of times is what Blue Bells Model School imparts to its young learners. The school creates a congenial environment where students can explore freely, strive passionately to churn their brain and let the storms brew inside them to be harnessed into a positive, progressive and productive start.

We at Blue Bells absolutely believe in the power of innovative entrepreneurship at every level because very often we feel that an idea has sparked but we are not able to formulate that idea, give it that shape we desired for, therefore, the earnest effort is to nurture those creative insights. The vision of the E-cell launch is to develop a hub for the students to explore the best entrepreneurial and professional talent on the path of becoming entrepreneurs.

A webinar was organised to launch E-cell for the students of the school on April 3, 2022. The programme commenced with a rendition of a beautiful song. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director BBGS graced the occasion with her benign presence and launched the E-Cell. Director ma’am addressed the students and congratulated the teaching fraternity for taking the initiative and creating a platform where new concepts and thoughts will flourish. A new club Unicorn has been introduced for the students of classes VIII-XII. A Panel discussion was organised on the topic, ‘Are start-ups the future of the employment industry?’ with a vision to normalise start-ups as a feasible career option and concocting the path to address problems in the most innovative manner. The eminent panellists were Mr. Akhil Singh, the co-founder of Questt.com., Mr. Mayank Jain, the founder of 'Ezyschooling', Mr. Parth Bhalotia,the Co-founder of Buzzo.ai., Mr. Vedansh Singh - Co-founder for several products such as Ami, AwareMonk and Invol,  Mr.Vivek Arya- A serial entrepreneur and an Alumnus of IIT Bombay and the Founder of  MakeSense Technologies and  buzzo.ai startup, and Mr.Prateek Yadav, the head of “Zyngo. The guest of honour for the session was Dr. Anupama Malik, a visionary edupreneur, strategic leader and focused academician. The moderators from the school were, Shagun Jain, the School Ambassador, Sauransh Bhardwaj, the Science Wizard and Arnav Malik, a student of XII C, a budding entrepreneur.Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of the school addressed the gathering by conveying the message that patience, passion and persistence are the prerequisite ingredients to be an entrepreneur and is confident that the school students will do wonders in their area of interest.

CITATION CEREMONY

 “LIFE IS A LONG JOURNEY BETWEEN HUMAN BEING AND BEING HUMAN.

LET’S TAKE AT LEAST ONE STEP EACH DAY TO COVER THE DISTANCE.”

When a student graduates from school, he takes a bag full of memories which become his strength in the coming years. Donning the cap and the graduation gown is a moment of pride for the teachers, parents and certainly the students.

With the year nearing its end, the school observed yet again, the same annual spectacle where joy and emotions are at their unique confluence- the crossroad from where the students can see a vast world beckoning to them to explore it and the effaceable years of comradeship gone by. Blue Bells Model School commemorated the Citation Ceremony for the outgoing batch of class XII, 2021-22 with great fervour on April 6&7, 2022 to acknowledge the unique gifts of the outgoing students of class XII and motivate them to hone their skills and prosper with time

The occasion commenced with the Diya lighting which created a perfect ambience to invoke divine blessings. J.D. Hall was reverberated with school song.

Each one of them then lit a candle as an insignia of their cognitive growth during their school years and sought the blessings of their parents and mentors. They were presented with a personalised which glorified their personality and journey at school, from being ordinary to an extraordinary leader of tomorrow.

Next in the sequence of events was the much waited reading of the citations of the students by their respective class teachers. Pride was clearly visible in the aura of the students as they stepped on the stage to collect their citation from the Director ma’am. The encapsulation of academic accomplishments and their achievements in co-curricular activities was a treasure bestowed upon the students to be cherished forever.

The Director of the school addressed the gathering and showered her blessings on the students to do their best in the future and become exemplary.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR MIDDLE WING AND SENIOR WING 2022-23

EDUCATION IS A LIFELONG JOURNEY…..

LET THE LEARNERS NAVIGATE, EXPLORE AND DISCOVER.

Positive nexus between parents and teachers have always shown improvement in children's academic achievement, social competencies and emotional well-being. Education is a shared commitment between devoted teachers, inspired students and dedicated parents.To familiarize the parents as partners in the progress of their ward, the school organized Orientation Programme for the parents of classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and XII on April 2, 2022. The parents were given an insight into the teaching - learning transaction which supports the child in realising his potential and achieving his goal.

The parents were acquainted with the school curriculum, students’ achievements in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas, clubs, life skills’ training and code of conduct for the students. The parents were given an outline of subject specific array of activities conducted in an effort to make the classroom learning empowering and interesting. Assessment criteria throughout the session was discoursed. The parents were also briefed about the inclusion of new teaching approach which includes STEAM education and Project based pedagogy. The faculty members addressed the meeting by giving a synopsis of the vision and remarkable endeavours taken under the Health and Wellness Program of the school which focuses on the holistic development of each and every child. The initiatives taken by the Learning and Development Cell for the academic growth of students were updated. The orientation programme indeed helped the parents to comprehend the curriculum strategy being followed in the school to ensure fruitful learning progression. The session closed with an open house session wherein parents’ queries were well attended by the school team.The orientation programme testified the fact that together parents and teachers can give a child the roots to grow and wings to fly.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2022-23

‘WITH FAITH, DISCIPLINE AND SELFLESS DEVOTION TO DUTY, THERE IS NOTHING WORTHWHILE THAT ONE CANNOT ACHIEVE’.

Being a council member, one has huge responsibility but along with duty and task, it is a great experiential learning for the young leaders. The Investiture Ceremony of Blue Bells Model School for the academic session 2022-2023 was held on April 1,2022 to felicitate the new Student Council. The ceremony was organised to entrust the duties and responsibilities to newly appointed council members in order to involve them in day-to-day functioning of the school. Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, the Director BBGS graced the occasion with her benign presence. She congratulated the council members and motivated them by stating that ‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are a leader’.

The august occasion commenced with the diya lighting with the accompaniment of shloka and school song. Thereafter it was indeed an endearing sight to see the newly elected young, smart, energetic leaders marching on to the stage with devotion in their mind and determination in their spirit.The senior council members and teachers honoured the newly formed council with sashes and badges.

The senior School Ambassador, Shagun Jain, Head Boy Saransh Gaba and Head Girl Kishika Malik addressed the congregation by sharing their thoughts and emphasizing the fact that they have full faith in their juniors that they will do justice to their posts and uphold the strong values of the school.The newly appointed School Ambassador, Prassiddhi Sachdeva,Head boy, Amartya Jha and Head Girl, Manya Srivastava expressed their willingness to shoulder their duties with honesty and diligence. Along with them the other elected student councils comprising 21 Core Council Members, 4 House Captains and 1 Health and Wellness Ambassador took the oath to be true to their posts and duties assigned to them. The song presentation at the end of the ceremony beautifully conveyed the message that the pious ceremony marks the beginning of a fresh journey for the students who believe in themselves to carry the rich legacy of the school with sincerity. Ms. Alka Singh, the Principal addressed the dignified audience and rightly quoted that ‘The Investiture Ceremony is a sacred event in the life of a student and is the first milestone in the journey of being responsible and reliable’. Senior faculty member proposed the vote of thanks. To conclude, the Investiture Ceremony witnessed the overwhelming Blue Bellians’ earnest commitment to take their portfolio with utmost conviction and resoluteness.

WORKSHOP ON FINANCIAL LITERACY

‘TO NAVIGATE THROUGH TODAY’S TOUGH FINANCIAL LANDSCAPE, IT’S CRUCIAL THAT FINANCIAL EDUCATION IS INTRODUCED RIGHT AT THE SCHOOL LEVEL AS IT’S UNDOUBTEDLY AN ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILL.’

To spread awareness of financial literacy among the students at the school level and make them financially educated, Blue Bells Model School took the initiative to organise a webinar on’Financial Literacy’ on March 28,2022 for the students of class XII. The resource person of the webinar was Dr. Anil Kumar & Team of Vittclub SRCC.Sir is an distinguished professor at Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.He emphasised that financial education can empower and equip young students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take charge of their lives and build a more secure future for themselves and their families.

The session was the earnest efforts of Vittclub SRCC, New Delhi, and Vittclub Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram. Under this collaboration, both the teams participated. Through a PPT, SRCC team elaborately explained how financial literacy can help in making the students aware of the financial issues and matters which are relevant to their life. The session was an informative and enriched learning experience for the students.

Blue Bells Model School Havan and Special Assembly for Grade III _ Day 1

“School bells are ringing loud and clear; waiting is over, school is here. You’re off to great-to-great places. Today is your first day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!” 

The first day of Grade III students began on a happy and exciting note. To seek divine blessings and to give an auspicious start to our new session, the newcomers of Grade III were welcomed with a 'Tilak' on their foreheads. A Havan was also performed to surge in the positive thoughts, words, and actions which pave the way to success. All the students and teachers actively participated in the Havan Ceremony. In sync with this, a special assembly was conducted to welcome Grade III students by the teachers. The assembly began with a Prayer, School Song and Pledge. The little Blue Bellians were welcomed by their teachers through an enthralling Dance performance, a beautiful Song and an entertaining Puppet Show. Principal Madam welcomed the students with her remarkable words and showered her blessings on the students for their bright future. She also motivated them to spare no stone unturned for their future endeavours. The assembly came to an end, earning the praise of the Primary Wing In charge, Ms Pallavi Sinha motivating the young minds. The assembly ended with the National Anthem sung by students.
