Goal Setting Session for Grade X & XII

 ADEPT – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by wellnesswise.in believes in guiding students to stride ahead, create new opportunities and set realistic goals which helps them develop a convincing future in a confident and meaningful way.

Under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the team conducted an interactive module on Goal Setting for students of Grade X & XII at Blue Bells Model School on April 15, 2025. The session aimed to help students achieve their aspirations and utilize their time to the optimum so that they can explore their interests, passions and professional paths.

Students were briefed about short -term and long-term goals which they can make by setting timelines for achieving them. The students were guided about the steps of goal setting and were encouraged to write one goal with an action plan, identifying the barriers and further the possible solution. The points to ponder upon for better productivity were also discussed.

Students participated actively throughout the session and put forth their queries and concerns. The session was indeed very motivating and each student felt rest  assured and supported

Metaverse 360VR Program

The first session of the Metaverse 360VR Program for the academic year 2025-26 was successfully conducted today at Blue Bells Model School in collaboration with Drishta Technology Private Limited.  Driven by the innovative vision of Madam Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director - Information Technology, Blue Bells Model School has taken a step forward with the launch of the Metaverse 360VR Program. Her visionary leadership and dedication were instrumental in ideating and paving the way for an immersive and innovative learning experience for our students. This immersive learning experience was conducted for students of Classes III to VIII, with each group exploring unique sessions through the innovative Metaverse technology.

Students from Classes III to V underwent an exciting journey through the session titled "Diversity of Life: The Nature's Wonderland". They explored various ecosystems, flying above a dry desert, diving beneath the ocean’s surface, and venturing into lush forests, all while understanding the interconnectedness of life and the importance of protecting our planet’s biodiversity.

Meanwhile, students from Classes VI to VIII experienced the Big Bang Theory: History of the Universe. This session took them through the origins of the universe, providing a captivating view of the cosmos from its inception to the present day. It was an enriching experience that sparked curiosity about space, time, and the mysteries of the universe.

Each session was conducted using advanced Metaverse 360VR devices, giving students an individual and interactive experience. The sessions were further complemented by informative booklets, providing additional context and helping to reinforce the concepts explored during the immersive activities.

The launch of this program marked a significant step forward in providing our students with innovative and engaging learning opportunities. We look forward to the continued success of the Metaverse 360VR Program and the unique educational experiences it will bring to our students.

World Health Day

‘Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit.’

Health is the true wealth which gets often overlooked, yet it shapes every moment of our lives.  Nurturing it with care, is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves.

In observance of World Health Day, the Health & Wellness Programme of Blue Bells Model School, under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, BBGS co- partnered with Max Hospital, Gurugram, to organize Health Talk on UTI & Gynaecological Health in Teens, on April 8, 2025

The session aimed to provide age-appropriate, relevant health education to students—focusing on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) for girls of Classes VIII to XII, and Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) for boys of Classes IX to XII.

The keynote speakers were:

• Dr. Ritu Sethi, Associate Director and Unit Head, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Max Hospital, Gurugram
• Dr. Mandeep Dhanda, Director and Head, Unit 1 - Urology, Kidney Transplant, and Oncology, Max Hospital, Gurugram

Dr. Sethi's expert insights into the topic of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) were not only informative but also empowering. Her session helped students understand the importance of managing their health and provided practical knowledge on handling PCOS effectively.

Dr. Dhanda’s session on Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) prevention and care was another highlight of the workshop. With clarity and precision, he offered practical advice that was easily applicable to the daily lives of students, helping them understand how to take preventive measures and maintain their health.

The workshop was indeed a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of health education for young students. With the collective efforts of medical professionals, the Health & Wellness team, and the school's management, the workshop not only raised awareness but also empowered students to take charge of their health and well-being.

WORLD BOOK DAY

In celebration of World Book Day and to promote the Importance of Reading, the School’s Library Team organized a special and interactive workshop. The session was led by Ms. Neelam Narang, a ‘Resource Associate’ with Scholastic India. With two years of experience at Scholastic, she regularly conducts engaging workshops for both children and teachers across the country. The workshop was not only informative but also highly engaging, encouraging students to see books as windows to new worlds, cultures, and ideas. Ms. Narang highlighted how reading is more than just a skill, it’s a powerful tool that fuels imagination, nurtures empathy, strengthens language abilities, and expands knowledge. Through lively discussions, fun activities, and personal anecdotes, she helped students understand how stories can shape perspectives and bring about personal growth. The session concluded with enthusiastic participation from students, who shared their favourite books and characters, reflecting a renewed excitement for reading. It was a meaningful reminder that books are not just pages—they're companions for life.

This powerful quote serves as a reminder of our deep connection to Mother Earth and the responsibility we share in protecting her.  Blue Bells Model School observed Earth Day with great enthusiasm through a series of engaging activities conducted in the Primary Wing. Grade 3 students made Earth Mosaic using paper and leaves, displaying their creativity and love for mother earth. Grade 4 students delivered an informative presentation on Energy efficiency guiding everyone how we can start saving energy at our home. Grade 5 took the initiative a step further by raising awareness about the importance of reducing our carbon footprint. Through their well-researched presentation, they showcased nine effective ways to lower our environmental impact, inspiring others to take action.

GREEN DAY CELEBRATION

World Earth Day

Blue Bells Model School enthusiastically celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2025 at Ram Park with active participation from the Middle Wing students. The event was held as part of Green Day, celebrated annually in loving memory of the Founder Chairperson, Late Shri B.D. Gulati ji.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Sadat Anwar and Ms. Neha from the Net Green Foundation, along with Mr. Chirag from Give Back to Gurugram Foundation. Members of the local community also joined the celebration. The programme began with a thought-provoking speech, setting the tone for environmental consciousness. This was followed by a powerful Nukkad Natak on “Conservation of Environment,” effectively highlighting the detrimental effects of pollution on air, water, land, and all living beings.

A key highlight was the Tree Plantation Drive, aiming to promote greenery within the neighbourhood and foster eco-responsibility among students. Adding a creative touch, the Primary Wing presented seed bombs to the guests and attendees, symbolising environmental hope and renewal. The Principal and esteemed guests shared their insights on the importance of Earth Day and Green Day, and applauded the students’ spirited participation and commitment to the cause.

Academic Award Ceremony ‘Felicitation’

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, hosted its much-awaited Academic Award Ceremony ‘Felicitation’ on April 19, 2025, to celebrate the achievements of students from Grades III to IX and XI for the academic session 2024–25. The event served as a platform to acknowledge excellence in academics, outstanding performance, and 100% attendance, applauding students who exemplify perseverance and determination.

The ceremony began on a traditional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, accompanied by a soulful rendition of shlokas. Enthralling cultural performances, including a vibrant group dance and a melodious song, added warmth and colour to the celebration.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, extended heartfelt congratulations to the achievers and applauded their dedication and punctuality. She inspired students to stay committed to their goals and continue striving for excellence. Principal Ms. Alka Singh felicitated the awardees and appreciated the teaching faculty for their guidance and consistent efforts in shaping young minds.

The event was a beautiful tribute to hard work and a reminder that determination and dedication are the true paths to success.

CLASS ASSEMBLY: EARTH DAY

Earth Day is a global reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. To mark this important occasion, students of Class V-C presented a thoughtful and inspiring assembly on Monday, April 21, 2025.

The assembly began with the regular features- school prayer, pledge, and school song followed by the thought for the day, vocabulary words, and news updates. The highlight of the assembly was a captivating skit titled “An Earth Day Carol”, where students portrayed how our actions impact the planet through scenes from the past, present, and future. The skit conveyed a powerful message on the urgent need to act responsibly and take care of Mother Earth.

The performance was followed by a lively and melodious Earth Day song that echoed the importance of sustainable living. The students pledged to keep the Earth clean and green and understood that even small steps can lead to big changes.

Primary Wing Leader, Ms. Kiran Rawat, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to be Earth warriors- conscious and caring individuals who contribute positively to the planet.

The class teacher Ms Rituraj addressed the gathering with heartfelt words of appreciation, commending the students for their sincere efforts and encouraging all to embrace eco-conscious practices in their everyday lives.

The assembly ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to make every day an Earth Day.

SOLAR AMBASSADOR WORKSHOP

BBMS Empowers Young Solar Ambassadors through Hands-On Workshop

Blue Bells Model School successfully conducted the Solar Ambassador Workshop on 9th April 2025, in collaboration with the Energy Swaraj Foundation. This enriching initiative aimed to foster awareness and action towards sustainable energy among students and educators.

The workshop was led by Mr. Sachin, a distinguished resource person from the Energy Swaraj Foundation, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 92 students and 10 teachers. Under the guidance of Ms. Alka Singh, Ms. Anshu Mallika, and SDG Coordinator Ms. Manisha Singh, each participant was provided with a solar kit to assemble a functional solar lamp. This hands-on activity not only imparted technical know-how but also instilled a strong sense of responsibility towards clean and renewable energy.

Upon successful completion of the assembly, all participants were formally recognized as Solar Ambassadors, symbolizing their commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions.

The event was further elevated by the presence of the FairGaze SDG team, who lent their support to the shared mission of advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This inspiring and impactful workshop served as a meaningful step toward nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious innovators dedicated to sustainable development and climate action.

Class Assembly: Baisakhi & Ambedkar Jayanti

"Gratitude is the foundation of happiness, and equality is the soul of justice."

With these timeless values, the students of Class V D conducted a special assembly on April 15, 2025 to celebrate Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti, blending culture with learning and festivity with reflection. The assembly began with the school prayer, pledge, school song, thought for the day, and news headlines, followed by a message introducing the day’s themes. Students shared the significance of Baisakhi—a harvest festival that reminds us to be grateful, hardworking, and rooted in tradition. The importance of Ambedkar Jayanti was also presented with reverence. Students paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, emphasizing his role in building the Indian Constitution and promoting equality, justice, and education. To add a cultural touch, students in traditional Punjabi attire performed a vibrant Baisakhi dance, spreading joy and energy.

The assembly concluded with inspiring words from Madam Kiran Rawat, highlighting the importance of these celebrations in shaping the values and cultural understanding of young learners. The assembly was not only informative and joyous but also instilled lasting values, leaving everyone inspired to honour both heritage and humanity in their daily lives. In the spirit of creativity and celebration, Class III students also participated in art and craft activity, where they joyfully created colourful paper Dhols. Class IV students showcased their creativity and enthusiasm by composing and presenting self-composed poems that beautifully captured the spirit of Baisakhi. Meanwhile, Class V students delivered thoughtful presentations on the valuable lessons they learned from the life and work of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
