In a time marked by economic uncertainty and growing energy concerns, the need to shift away from traditional resources has never been more urgent. With rapid advancements in technology and engineering, the path to a more sustainable and efficient future is being forged through innovation and adaptation. Embracing solutions that reduce waste, enhance performance, and offer long-term sustainability is key to addressing the challenges of tomorrow.

With this progressive vision at its core, Blue Bells Model School proudly hosted the sixth edition of FUTURIX – The Design and Innovation Fair on May 17, 2025, for students from Classes III to XII. This flagship event continues to inspire young minds to think creatively, engage with real-world issues, and showcase innovative solutions developed within their own communities.

The Design Fair was inaugurated by the distinguished guests, Mr Satish Pahal, Deputy Secretary, Skill Education, CBSE.  The Design Fair Newsletter was unveiled, featuring comprehensive details of each project along with captivating images of students actively engaged in bringing their models to life. Mr Satish Pahal shared his expertise with the teachers wherein he spoke on innovation and skillsets and how it can be enhanced in students.

The pioneering ideas and effective presentations and illustrations of thoughtful projects were creditable accomplishments for the aspiring impresarios. The outstanding display of projects and models that enchanted the attention of the guests Were Potato Powered Electricity Generator, Zap Way, Sattvsphere, Inferno Eye, Zero Waste Café, Piezoelectric Generator, Eco Bump, Innoventrix, Eco Vichar, Aqua Loop And Many More.

The visiting parents were impressed by the unique creativity showcased in each project. They praised the students for their sincere efforts and appreciated the teachers’ commitment in guiding the teams to success. Approximately 1520 participants showcased 322 projects and 10 Lead Mentor Projects attracting around 600 visitors., including students from GPSC schools across Gurugram.  Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of BBGS, expressed her admiration for the enthusiastic and spirited participation of the budding creators. The Director conveyed her delight by stating that every student at the school brings a unique perspective, and through the Design Fair, they transformed their creative ideas into tangible, innovative project. Ms. Alka Singh, Principal and Ms Anshu Malika Kumar, Vice Principal of the school, commended the young innovators as they confidently showcased their one-of-a-kind design projects.

Inizio 2025-26 For Classes III to V

Inizio – A Beginning-Health & Wellness Fiesta For Classes III to V  A Celebration of Love, Expression, and Emotional Wellness

In a world that constantly evolves, it is vital to ground young minds in enduring values—love, gratitude, and emotional connection. With this vision, Inizio – A Beginning, a Health & Wellness Fiesta for students of Classes III to V, was held on May 8, 2025 under the aegis of  ADEPT - A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in, Aligned with Mother’s Day and themed “A Symphony of Love: Celebrating Motherhood.”

The event was conceptualized and curated under the visionary leadership of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS. The fiesta served as a mindful journey into the hearts of children, nurturing their capacity to express love in meaningful, tangible ways. The initiative embraced inclusion, offering every child a voice and a space to contribute uniquely, regardless of background or ability.

The fiesta unfolded through thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate activities that enabled students to connect with the theme while developing essential life skills. Through hands-on engagement, students poured their emotions into meaningful creations—Clay Jewellery Holders (Class III), All About My Mom Booklets (Class IV), and Magnetic Planners (Class V). These expressions transcended the realm of craft, becoming soulful reflections of appreciation and empathy.

The event exemplified belongingness, empowering each child to articulate love through art, language, and design. More than a celebration, it marked the genesis of emotional literacy—an awakening to the power of heartfelt connections.

Study Skills Module

Empowering Young Minds: Study Skills Module

 At Blue Bells Model School, an enlightening session on Study Skills was conducted on May 6, 2025 for the students of Grade IX under the aegis of ADEPT – A Programme for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in and guided by the visionary mentorship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), Blue Bells Group of Schools.

With the aim to equip students with essential academic strategies and skills, the session was implemented through an interactive presentation, group discussion followed with a question & answer round, thus ensuring active participation and engagement from each student. The PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Self-study, Test) technique was introduced to help them retain information through structured study. The students further learned effective strategies to enhance their note-taking, note-making, academic reading, and writing skills, while also discovering valuable tips for better organization and time management thus ensuring increased productivity.

Students explored strategies and learned effective techniques to adapt to academic changes, understand their learning styles, and cultivate effective study habits in a supportive environment. The session helped them gain valuable insights and effectively equipped each one with essential  skills, boosting their confidence and independence in learning.

MOTHER'S DAY 2025

"A mother’s love shapes generations; in her care begins the story of every future.”

Blue Bells Model School commemorated Mother’s Day on May 9, 2025, celebrating the valuable role of mothers in nurturing young lives and shaping bright futures. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the love, strength, and wisdom that mothers selflessly share every day.

The celebration came alive through a soulful group song and a vibrant dance performance, expressing gratitude and love for mothers. The students poured their hearts into these performances, celebrating the spirit of motherhood and recognizing mothers as the heart and soul of families and the first guiding force in a child’s life.

The school was honoured by the presence of our revered Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, who extended heartfelt blessings and appreciation for mothers.

A special highlight of the event was an insightful talk by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director – Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools, focusing on the emotional and physical well-being of mothers. Alongside Vrinda Khare (Former Health & Wellness Ambassador) and Yash Gupta (Former Head Boy), Dr. Alka also inaugurated a Sanitary Pad Vending Machine, promoting awareness and access to menstrual hygiene—an empowering initiative for young girls and women alike.

An engaging interactive session under the ADEPT- A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by wellnesswise.in, was conducted by Ms. Chetna, Counselling Psychologist from My Peegu. This session offered mothers a platform to reflect on their mental health, share experiences, and gain strategies to support emotional wellness.

The event beautifully blended celebration, awareness, and empowerment—creating a warm, environment that strengthens the bond between home and school. It served as a meaningful reminder of how deeply mothers shape our lives, and how important it is to cherish and honour their contribution not just on one day, but every day.

CLASS ASSEMBLY , XII A

‘Young minds shape the future—when guided by purpose, they design a world worth inheriting.’

In an era marked by conflict, crisis, and uncertainty, India continues to stand resilient—not only with courage at its borders but also with innovation in the minds of its youth and determination in their hearts. Reflecting this spirit, Grade XII A conducted a special assembly on the theme ‘Design Thinking’ for students of classes XI and XII.The assembly began with an inspiring thought that captured the essence of design thinking where creativity meets purpose, and real-world problems are solved through empathy and imagination. The news updates covering the major headlines were relevant and informative. Tanish Kathpalia, the Design Wizard of the school took the students in the realm of creativity through his captivating presentation on Design Thinking. He led the students into the dynamic world of design thinking, encouraging them to think deeply, find solutions to everyday challenges, and strive to make a meaningful impact on society.

Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of the school lauded the students’ efforts and congratulated Tanish for conducting an enriching session for his peers.

Bridging Cultures: International Connect with Guri Middle School

Blue Bells Model School hosted an engaging international connect session with Guri Middle School, South Korea, on 7 May 2025. Students exchanged warm introductions, showcased school walkthrough videos, and shared vibrant musical performances. A fun quiz on cultural traditions added excitement and deepened mutual understanding. The session fostered friendship, global awareness, and appreciation of diversity. It was a meaningful step towards nurturing empathetic, responsible global citizens. Events like these enrich learning by bridging geographical boundaries and celebrating unity in diversity.

Blue Bells Model School joyfully celebrated Reading Utsav, immersing students in the world of literature through engaging book reviews and discussions. To commemorate this literary journey, a captivating video featuring student book reviews has been released. This initiative not only fostered a love for reading but also encouraged students to articulate their insights and reflections, enhancing their critical thinking and communication skills.

Leadership, when rooted in discipline, integrity, and a sense of purpose, has the power to elevate individuals to remarkable heights. The Investiture Ceremony is a sacred tradition that empowers young minds to accept leadership roles with dignity, responsibility, and a commitment to service. Blue Bells Model School celebrated its Senior and Junior Wing Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 on May 5, 2025, marking a momentous occasion where newly elected council members were formally entrusted with their duties.

Gracing the occasion with her esteemed presence was Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of BBGS, who extended heartfelt congratulations to the student leaders. In her address, she inspired them with the thought that, “Being responsible is a colossal privilege and it's what distinguishes a person as a fully matured individual.”

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, accompanied by the chanting of sacred shlokas, invoking blessings for a prosperous journey ahead. A soul-stirring rendition of the group song Chalna Seekha diya set a graceful tone for the event. The newly appointed council members, radiating enthusiasm and determination, marched onto the stage with pride and purpose. They were felicitated with sashes and badges symbolizing the formal conferral of responsibilities.

Srishti Sanjay,  the Senior School Ambassador, along with Livesh Bhutani (Head Boy) and Vrishtee Chauhan  (Head Girl), pledged to lead with honesty and unwavering dedication. They were joined by Nandini Pathak (Junior School Ambassador), Daksh Sehrawat (Junior Head Boy), Arshiya Hazarika (Junior Head Girl), and other student leaders who solemnly took the oath of office.

A spirited group dance performance  and a heartfelt rendition of the school song reflected the essence of commitment and unity. The principal, Ms. Alka Singh, addressed the gathering with a powerful message: “Leadership is the ability to turn vision into tangible achievements.”

LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION 2025

Honouring Our Pillars of Support – Labour Day Celebration at Blue Bells Model School

Blue Bells Model School, Sector-4, Gurugram, celebrated Labour Day on 1^st May 2025 with immense joy and gratitude. A special assembly was conducted by the Primary Wing to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the school’s support staff. Students from Primary Wing made beautiful cards as a gesture of love and gratitude for them. Students from the Home Science Club of Middle Wing prepared and served refreshing lassi, cakes, biscuits, and sandwiches to the didis and bhaiyas who play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the school.

The event fostered a sense of empathy, respect, and responsibility among students as they expressed heartfelt appreciation towards the staff. The joyful expressions on the faces of the workers reflected the warmth and gratitude conveyed by the young learners, reinforcing the school’s core values of service, dignity, and community.

 ADEPT – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by wellnesswise.in believes in guiding students to stride ahead, create new opportunities and set realistic goals which helps them develop a convincing future in a confident and meaningful way.

Under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the team conducted an interactive module on Goal Setting for students of Grade X & XII at Blue Bells Model School on April 15, 2025. The session aimed to help students achieve their aspirations and utilize their time to the optimum so that they can explore their interests, passions and professional paths.

Students were briefed about short -term and long-term goals which they can make by setting timelines for achieving them. The students were guided about the steps of goal setting and were encouraged to write one goal with an action plan, identifying the barriers and further the possible solution. The points to ponder upon for better productivity were also discussed.

Students participated actively throughout the session and put forth their queries and concerns. The session was indeed very motivating and each student felt rest  assured and supported
