Middle Wing students of Blue Bells Model School visited Elevate Adventure Park, Bandhwari, for an exhilarating one-day trip on 27^th January 2025.  They participated in thrilling activities like zip-lining, rock climbing, and rope courses, enhancing teamwork and confidence. The adventure-filled day also included team-building exercises, dancing, and water activities. A delicious lunch added to the enjoyment. The trip was a resounding success, leaving students with cherished memories and valuable life lessons in resilience and cooperation.

The much-anticipated Annual Sports Day, Athletasia was celebrated on the 23rd of January 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was the culmination of a week-long series of exciting competitions, which showcased the talent, teamwork, and competitive spirit of the students. In the week leading up to the grand day, students participated in a variety of races, including the 200-meter sprint, relay race, sack race, three-legged race, and the fun-filled packing up of the bag race.

The D-day commenced with the oath ceremony and hoisting of the school flag, where participants pledged to uphold the values of fair play and integrity. This was followed by the declaration of Sports Day open by Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools who inspired the students with words of encouragement and motivation.

The highlight of the day was the series of thrilling races across various categories, including sprints, relay races, and long-distance runs. Students from all four houses competed with energy and zeal, cheered on by their housemates in the audience.

The Overall Trophy was awarded to Nehru House for their stellar performance, while Mother Teresa House proudly claimed the Runners-Up position. The event concluded with the folding of the Sports flag, marking the end of a day filled with excitement and unforgettable moments.

The 2025 Sports Day was a resounding success, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and the joy of healthy competition among students.

REPUBLIC DAY

"Celebrations are elevated when graced with sanctity and a sense of sacredness." Guided by this profound belief, Blue Bells Model School, Sector-4, Gurugram, proudly commemorated the 76th Republic Day in the school premise as well as at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram. The occasion marked the iconic moment in Indian history when the Constitution came into effect, establishing India as an independent republic.

The auspicious day in the school began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National flag by the Honoured Guest, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati Director Blue Bells Group of Schools, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by all attendees. The flag, fluttering high, reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our great leaders to attain independence. The parade was led by the Senior Under Officer Harshit Sharma. The march past by the NCC cadets, stood as a powerful symbol of discipline and unity.  The Chief Guest addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution, the role of youth in nation-building, and the values of unity and diversity. A melodious instrumental rendition by the music team set a patriotic tone for the event. Adding to the patriotic fervour, a soulful rendition of the song Jai Jai Pyara Bharat Desh filled the air, evoking a deep sense of pride and love for the nation.

The spectacular dance presentation with the theme Nayi Umeed, Naya Bharat made the audience spellbound at Tau Devi Lal Stadium . Mega participation of 200 children from Grades III- XI  looked forward to a future where unity, equality, and opportunity flourish, creating a nation where dreams are realized, and every challenge is met with determination and resilience.

It was indeed a soul illumining day dotted with dance, music, march past, kinaesthetic all that triggered a synthesis of cultures and set out a roadmap for unity in diversity.

OPEN HOUSE 2025

Blue Bells Model School organized an engaging Open House on 25th January 2025, offering prospective students and their families a glimpse into its vibrant learning environment. The event highlighted the school’s focus on 21st-century skills, with students showcasing innovative prototypes they created during school hours. Visitors explored the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, interacted with passionate teachers, and gained insights into its holistic, child-centric approach. 

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a large number of  50 walk-ins and enthusiastic participation from prospective students and their families. The day not only underscored the school’s commitment to nurturing future-ready learners but also delivered tangible results with 12 confirmed admissions—a stellar achievement that reflects the trust and confidence placed in the institution. 

The Open House was truly a testament to the school’s impact in fostering a vibrant and future-focused educational ecosystem.

CITATION 2024-25

As students step into the future, they carry with them a treasure trove of memories, each one shaping the foundation of their journey ahead. The iconic cap and gown represent more than just tradition; they symbolize the pride of educators, parents, and the students themselves. On January 18, 2025, Blue Bells Model School celebrated the Citation Ceremony for the outgoing Class XII batch of 2024-25 with great fervour, marking the end of a significant chapter in their academic lives. The event was not only a recognition of the achievements of the graduating students but also an opportunity to inspire them as they embark on new adventures. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the Diya and the recitation of shlokas, filling the atmosphere with a sense of reverence and blessing. Ms. Alka Singh, the Principal, extended a warm welcome to all present and encouraged the students to face the future with determination and clarity, as they unfold their dreams with confidence.

One of the most touching moments of the day was the reading of the citations by the class teachers, each one celebrating the unique strengths and potential of the students. Each student, in a symbolic act of growth, lit a candle, representing the wisdom and knowledge they had gained during their years at school and with pride shining in their eyes, the students received their citations from the Director, a memento they would cherish forever.

The Director’s address inspired all present, offering blessings for the students to excel in their future endeavours and emerge as role models for others. Through tear-filled eyes and bright smiles, Armaan Sareen (School Ambassador), Yash Gupta (Head Boy), Mannat (Head Girl), Vrinda Khare (Health and Wellness Ambassador), and Riya Chawla (Cyber Council Ambassador) shared heartfelt reflections on their time at school and their readiness for the challenges that lay ahead. Parents also expressed their pride in their children's accomplishments, speaking with deep gratitude for their time as part of the Blue Bells family.

The ceremony came to a close with the school song, a fitting tribute to the emotional journey these students had travelled. Surrounded by blessings, the students departed with a sense of renewed determination, eager to honour their school and boldly move forward toward their aspirations, poised to seize the opportunities of the future they had long imagined.

Portfolio Management and Brand Building Workshop

Blue Bells Model School, in collaboration with Bennett University, conducted a workshop on 20th January 2025 for Grade XI students, focusing on building impactful portfolios. Dr. Pallavi Bansal shared insights on showcasing achievements, creating personal brands, and curating professional portfolios for higher education and careers. The interactive session inspired students to craft structured, creative, and professional portfolios.

Farewell Ceremony KUCH PAL AUR

As students close the chapter of their school life and move towards new educational pursuits, it is an emotional time for both them and their teachers. In a celebration of this special bond, the students of Class XI, filled with enthusiasm and joy, organised the ceremony, ‘Kuch Pal Aur’ to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Class XII students on January 17, 2025.

The valedictory ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, accompanied by the chanting of Shlokas and it created a serene and reverent atmosphere. The celebration gathered momentum with spectacular dance performances, an impressive fashion show, and an electrifying concert that brought the entire venue to life. A Talent Hunt contest was held for the outgoing students, keeping them entertained and full of joy. Based on their exceptional talents, titles were awarded to Class XII students, with Ridhima being crowned Miss Blue Bells and Raj Sardana as Mr. Blue Bells. A touching video montage of past years stirred emotions and nostalgia among all. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, inspired the students with the words, ‘Every great dream begins with a dreamer, and within you lies the strength, patience, and passion to reach for the stars and change the world.’ She wished the students success in their future endeavours and praised the organizing team for making the event a grand success.

Empowering Peer Educators: Standing Up to Bullying Through Awareness and Action

Peer Educator Workshop on Anti-Bullying

“One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.” – John F. Kennedy

The Health & Wellness Programme, under the flagship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, established the Peer Educator Programme to foster a sense of community and belonging among students by promoting a positive attitude toward bullying prevention, mental health, and overall well-being.

The third session of the workshop, titled “Draw the Line: Stand Up to Bullying,” was conducted for the Peer Educators of BBGS on December 5, 2024, at BDBBPS, Sector 10, Gurugram.

The primary objective of the workshop was to educate Peer Educators about the effects of bullying and its impact on individuals. The Resource Center team focused on equipping the Peer Educators with various strategies to build their confidence and empower them to stand up to bullying effectively.

The session began with an engaging icebreaker activity, followed by a presentation on strategies to combat bullying and the roles of an upstander. Role-playing exercises were conducted to practice assertiveness, and students were also briefed on the Anti-Bullying Policy, which aims to prevent bullying incidents and ensure protection from any form of harassment.

Empowering students with knowledge and skills to address bullying can significantly reduce such incidents. The session included a discussion on the upcoming Symposium, emphasizing the importance of responsibility and ownership in making the Peer Educator Programme an effective initiative for promoting positive change.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Alka Saxena and her team and eagerly look forward to new learning opportunities and reaching greater heights.
