Talent Hunt for Class III

“If you are young and talented, it’s like you have wings”

Talent Hunt offers an excellent opportunity to the students to come forward and portray their hidden talents. Giving the students a unique platform to showcase their talents, Talent Hunt Programme was organized by Primary Wing for class III.

On day-3 of the Programme, there were participants from Class III C in all categories namely dance, poem recitation, singing, playing musical instruments and role play. Students were very confident and gave marvelous performances.

To give students a unique platform to showcase their talents ‘Talent Hunt Programme 2019-20’ was organised for Class III-A students. The activity was organized with the aim of providing an opportunity to students to come forward and portray their hidden talents and overcome stage fear.  The students exhibited their talents by singing melodious songs, reciting heart-touching poems, narrating thought-provoking stories and spell-bound dance performances. They confidently played musical instruments. The proceedings went smoothly displaying the unmatchable talent

Talent Hunt offers an excellent opportunity to the students to promote self-learning, develop their confidence and enhance their personalities. To give students a unique platform to showcase their talents ‘Talent Hunt Programme 2019-20’ was organised for Class III-B students on 28.03.2019.

On Day-2 of the programme students exhibited their talents by singing harmonious songs, reciting inspirational poems, narrating interesting stories, rolling on skates and enthralling dance performances. They confidently played musical instruments. The students participated enthusiastically in the event.

HAVAN CEREMONY

'The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams'

To seek divine blessings and to give an auspicious start to our new session 2019-20, the students of Class III were accorded a warm welcome in a traditional manner by their teachers.  A Havan Ceremony was performed for the students to offer their prayers to God for the new beginning to surge in the positive thoughts, words and actions which pave a way to the success. All the students and teachers actively participated in the Havan Ceremony.

The students were welcomed with the inspirational words and were showered with the blessings for their bright future. They were motivated to spare no stone unturned in all their future ventures. They were encouraged to become disciplined and responsible in their lives. Students were motivated to hone their skills and give their best to conquer the world.

‘Discover Blue Bells Model School’- a tour of the school campus was organized to familiarize the students with the campus and provide a glimpse of the school.

Hope that our students will carry the legacy of Bluebellians by outshining in the academics and co-curricular world!

Orientation Programme 2019-20

Blue Bells Model School organized an orientation program for the parents of classes III and VI  on 23^rd March 2019.  The aim was to give parents an opportunity to experience and understand the world their child explores in the school. The Parents were given an insight into the Teaching - Learning process which rests on the belief that given the right ambience and opportunities, every child has the inherent potential to excel. It identifies the specific skill set of every child and helps each one of them to derive motivation from within as well as from the environment. The parents were acquainted with the school curriculum, students’ achievement in academics as well as co-curricular activities, clubs, life skills’ training and code of conduct for the students. They were further elaborately updated regarding the evaluation policy of the school based on CBSE guidelines. The parents were also apprised about the array of activities conducted in various subjects to make the sessions interesting and effective. The faculty members enlightened the gathering by walking through the vision and phenomenal endeavors taken under The Health and Wellness program of the school. The program focuses on developing the child holistically including the cognitive, social, emotional and ethical aspects. The session ended with parents-teachers interaction wherein parents’ queries were well attended.

Workshop on Cyber Safety Awareness

Hardware is easy to protect: lock it in a room, or chain it to a desk. Information poses more of a problem. It can exist in more than one place; be transported halfway across the planet in seconds; and be stolen without one's knowledge.”

With the introduction of new technologies, cyber safety has become a major concern nowadays. With an endeavour to empower the students in the judicious usage of technology, Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, organized an enlightening and interactive Cyber Safety Awareness Workshop for the mothers  on March 11, 2019, under the visionary leadership of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools. It was a venture to mark the International Womens’ Day. The objective was to spread cyber awareness among them as they play a pivotal role in the upbringing of children.

The resource person was renowned Cyber Security Expert and Consultant , Mr Rakshit Tandon.

 In his address, he stressed upon the safety measures to be adopted while using the internet. Various myths about anonymity of users were broken. The mothers were educated about the recent burning issues like social media related myths, hacking and how to stay safe online. He told that it has become imperative to keep pace with technological changes and convert fearful victims, especially women to face cyber crimes against them confidently and be empowered consumers of online services including e-wallets and other payment portals. Gullibility of users was discussed and essential safety measures to be adopted while working on the internet were highlighted. The audience were trained on how to remain safe on social media sites rather than using the very clichéd topics.

 Mothers clarified their doubts with respect to the routine activities they undertake on the internet.  The workshop ignited the spark of curiosity about the dangers posed by the indiscriminate usage of internet. Each attendee had expressed that the workshop was beneficial and they learnt about safe guarding their internet and mobile applications.

INTERACTIVE SESSION ON “LET’S TALK ABOUT PUBERTY” FOR CLASS 5 GIRLS

‘Change is inevitable.’

Puberty: It is the transition time where both boys and girls experience changes physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. During this period of change, confusions and concerns of children need to be addressed, In sync with this an interactive session was organized by Health and wellness team on 28th February, 2019 for class V girls. Session conducted by Dr. Rekha Soni (school doctor) under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director Health and Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The girls were made aware about physical, emotional, hormonal and social changes during Puberty. Girls were able to understand the meaning of puberty. They understood that puberty is a series of natural changes that every child goes through. Mood changes and energy level variations are normal part of puberty. They understood the importance of balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, taking proper sound sleep, participating in outdoor games and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for staying healthy and fit. Dr Soni provided useful ways they can look after themselves at this time so they can cope with the changes effectively. She encouraged young girls to share their concerns, doubts and address their feelings. It was an enriching and synergistic session for the girls.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY

'The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people'

“Unity in Diversity” is a phrase implying unity among people with diverse cultural, religious and other demographic differences. National Unity is our most priceless asset. Students of class V D organized a Special Assembly enlightening the students about the importance of Unity in Diversity, which is something our takes pride in.

The assembly began with a soothing song followed by a poem and a mime which reaffirmed our faith in uniqueness of multicultural India. 

The assembly was well presented and the message, to remain united in a diversified world, was delivered beautifully. The efforts of the students were commendable and applauded.
