CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

PRAISEWORTHY PERFROMANCE BY YOUNG INNOVATORS OF BLUE BELLS MODEL SCHOOL AT CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

CBSE Science Exhibition at Regional Level was organized in DPS , Sector 45 Gurugram on November 27 & 28, 2019 . 85 renowned schools participated and competed at the Regional Level . 118 exhibits were displayed and only 22models/projects were selected for Nationals . All the Regional Level teams presented their best projects and it was an astounding feat attained by our students of Classes IX who competed and proved that excellence has no age bar and their project was selected for the Nationals. Vaibhav Semwal and Akagra Sharma of Class IX Under Subtheme-‘ Resource Management’ titled their model was ‘Automatic House Hold Water System’ . Based on theme, the project was based on scientific and mathematical innovation which managed to get a lot of appreciation and goodwill not only from the judges and students but also by the teachers from various schools and guests at the event.

MIND WAR - ORGANIZED BY ZEE5 TV ENTERTAINMENT ENTERPRISES LTD

A student of Class XB, Jitender Jangra won the prize in the Quiz: Mind War- organized by Zee5 TV Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. ZEE conducted of one of the world’s largest quiz programs titled ‘Mind Wars’ for school students across India. It was a multi-platform ecosystem, Mind Wars - a quiz contested providing a comprehensive knowledge acceleration program for students from Classes VI to X.

Mind Wars had a database of more than 10,000 questions across the three content buckets – curriculum, general knowledge and current affairs. While the level of questions was for Classes VI to X , the platform was also be developed for higher age groups in its advanced stages.

MI-ME MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE FEST

Innovation, Creation, Language competency blended with technology is the learner's forte at Blue Bells Model School.  Prassidhi Sachdeva of Class IX personified the saying when she used her creative and technical genius to bag the First Position in the event -' A Technical Music' where she created a jingle and recorded it using tech tools.

The School's Senior Team comprising of Muskan Yadav (XI F) and Namrata Munjal (XI C) & Middle Level Team of Krisha Gupta (VIII C) and Kartikey Rustagi (VIII B) performed exceedingly well to clinch Second Runners Up Position respectively in ACE Category in MI-ME Multiple Intelligence Fest at Suncity World School on November 22,2019.

In the ACE Category, the school team of two students competed in four events- Linguistic, Interpersonal/ Naturalistic, Kinaesthetic and Technological Music. The event saw a competitive presentation by renowned schools of Gurugram.

The Management, Director and Principal congratulated the school team for this feat.

ANNUAL HT-PACE-NMNH INTER-SCHOOL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION, 2019

Creativity is the incubation of the vision, to nurture it into a living and inspiring reality. Rishika Singh( Class V B) of Blue Bells Model School proved her mettle in the Annual Essay Writing Competition organized by HT –PACE on November 20, 2019 in association with the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) . She bagged Encouragement Prize in the Junior Category for their Creative Writing. The topic for the essay was-‘Water , an Elixir of Life.’

The Valedictory function was held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, New Delhi. More than 150 students from Delhi and NCR schools participated in this event.

2nd MADE EASY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

“Well Begun is Half done.”

The school   Team of Under 14 and Under 12 –Boys participated in   the 2nd Made Easy Football Tournament  held  from  November 13 to 20, 2019 at the  Made Easy School , Sec 58-59,  Gurugram.

 The school teams showcased perfect team coordination and game plan and won  from DPS G, Suncity & Ryan International School . The Under 14 & Under 12 Boys team reached the Semi Finals of the Tournament. The Under 14 Boys    team clinched the Second  Runner Up  position in the Tournament and Yash Bhaskar was  awarded the Best defender in the tournament. The Under 12 Boys  team bagged the   Fair  Play Trophy . Mr. Arvind , the Football Coach of the school was awarded the Best Coach  of the tournament.

The Management , Director and Principal of the school congratulated the coach and the team for the splendid performance .

Millennial Indian Writers Contest

“Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence.”

Words are power. Wielded thoughtfully, words and ideas have a very real potential to bring about change. In order to give Indian millennials a platform to demonstrate their critical thinking and writing skills, Takhte and the UNESCO New Delhi Cluster Office launched the first ever pan India online essay contest for the students. The contest was titled ‘Millennial Indian Writers’. It is a proud moment for all of us as the essay ‘Has our need for instant news affected the quality of journalism?’ written by Triveni Kalhan of VIII D has been selected. Her essay is one of the 100 winning essays that would be published in a book entitled Inside the Millennial Mind: Essays by 100 Young Indians.

UTHAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT

Young people should be at the forefront pf global change and innovation. Empowered , they can be the key agents for development and Peace- Kofi Annan

Blue Bells Model School is committed to churn out social responsible citizens who can take up responsibilities that would bring productive change in the world. In sync with the same vision ,the students participated in Uthan Youth Parliament presented by UNNATI organization as the knowledge hub for civil aspirants  on November 2 & November 3, 2019. The event was organized at Bharitya Vidyapeeth , Deemed University Campus , New Delhi.

The school MUN team participated in the prestigious MUN and brought laurels for the alma mater . Kshitij Budhiraja of Class XI F bagged the award of Best Caricaturist in the International Press . Priyanka Sharma (XI F) and Parth Narula ( VIII B) received the Verbal Mention Award. The effort of the school team was lauded by all the EB’s .

INTERNATIONAL ROBOTICS CHALLENGE 10 QUALIFIER ROUND

STELLAR PERFORMANCE BY BLUE BELLS MODEL SCHOOL, SECTOR 4, GURUGRAM  AT THE INTERNATIONAL ROBOTICS CHALLENGE 10 QUALIFIER ROUND

The roots of true achievement lie in the will to become the best that you can become. Ever since its inception, it has been the objective of Blue Bells Model  School, Sector 4, Gurugram to raise the bar of excellence in the educational sphere and to cater to the potential possibility of each and every child to mould and shape him into the future leader of tomorrow.

The multitalented IT Wizards proved their technical dexterity in the Zonal Round of IRC (Robotics Challenge) organized in the school on November 2, 2019 . The students exhibited their proficiency in tackling the problem statements and tasks given in the competition. The  efforts of the teams were highly appreciated by the Technical Jury and they clinched First Position in the Senior Category and Second Runners Up Position in the Middle Category .

There were 70 teams competing for the coveted positions which would give them a place to compete in the Nationals at Thyagraj Stadium in December 2019 .

The Management, Director, Deputy Director –IT, BBGS  and Principal of the school extended their heartiest felicitations to the Robotics Team for this emphatic win at the Zonal level .
