The students of Blue Bells Model School Sec-4, Gurugram marvelled in Inter-school Competition

The foundation of bright future is laid in toiling hours of today and this is what Blue Bellians believe in. Following the practice of achievements, our brilliant and meticulous students proved their prowess in an Inter-School Competition ‘The Visionary: Social Innovations and Entrepreneurship’ organized by S.D Adarsh Vidyalaya Gurugram on 24th November, 2018. A team of five students from Senior Wing participated in the event and fetched II position for their splendid creation of a new product with their novel and ingenious ideas.

The young enthusiasts combated with the participants of reputed schools from Gurugram. The achievers were applauded for their unswerving presentation and were felicitated with certificates and prizes.

Blue Bells Model School Sector 4 Gurugram brings Success in 6th National Convention of Students’ Quality Control Circles (NCSQCC, 2018)

The foundation of bright future is laid in toiling hours of today and this is what Blue Bellians believe in. Adding one more feather in the prestigious hat of Blue Bells Model School Sec-4 Gurgaon, the students of Middle and Senior Wings were honoured for their scintillating skills at 6th National Convention of Students’ Quality Control Circles (NCSQCC, 2018) organized at Suncity School on 23rd and 24th November, 2018 under the theme `Quantum Quality' in which they competed with 27 schools across India. The fiery Blue Bellians displayed their cyclopedic and panoramic knowledge in Case Study Presentations, Debate, Poster and Slogan, Verbosity-Jingle with Mingle and Quality Quiz. . Their questions, tools and techniques, leadership quality, simply mesmerized the judges and other dignitaries witnessing the event. It was unbelievable for many to see the students performing so professionally and meticulously during the sessions.

Roopam Taneja and Jitender Jangra made indelible impressions by bagging Ist position in the Quality Quiz. They were felicitated with the Overall Champions Trophy, Individual Certificates, Microwave and Air Purifier for their splendid performance.

Mannat Arora, Yaghika Beniwal, Anshika Goyal, Himanshi Grover, Tanvi Beniwal, Aviral Gupta and Darpan Hans clinched 1st position i.e Ishikawa Award in Senior Case Study. The winners were felicitated with Individual Certificates and Trophies. Quality Circle Incharge Ms. Madhu Gupta has been awarded with School Trophy of Ishikawa Award for her unrelenting support and guidance to the participants and their splendid success.

Amritesh Gothwal achieves International Milestone!!

It is rightly said that self-belief and industrious efforts always bring success. Following the practice of achievements, Amritesh Gothwal clinched Gold Medal for his exemplary performance in International Karate Championship-Winner Cup-2018 on 23 November, 2018 at Al Jazira Club Indoor Stadium organized by Winner Karate Club-Abu Dhabi(UAE).

MARUMAL MEMORIAL INTER-SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Marumal Memorial School organised Marumal Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament from November 21 to December 2, 2018 our students participated in the tournament and secured Runners Up Position. The players were Rohit Kumar, Neerav Thukral, Vaibhav Rajput, Lakshay Kathpaalia, Sarthak Bhardwaj, Hiten Kumar and Aryan Bachhal. The batsmen executed amazing batting skills and the bowlers and fielders did their part well.

NATURE CALLS FOR HELP

On November 20, the Hindustan Times Partnerships for Action in Education (HT-PACE) in association with the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) organized its Annual Interschool Essay Writing Competition under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The topic was ‘Nature protects if she is protected’. Manya Bassi and Aadhya Singh participated in Senior and Junior Category respectively. The Prize Distribution took place on December 11 in an interactive session on ‘Mountains Matter’ organized to commemorate International Mountain Day at NMNH. Manya bagged First Position in the Senior Category and Aadhya secured Encouragement Prize in the Junior Category. The Director of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change – Ms. Naaz Rizvi along with eminent guests handed over the awards to the students who brought laurels to the school. The most coveted Rolling-in Trophy was awarded to Manya Bassi for her unsurpassable flair of writing.

RoopamTaneja and Priyank bagged Ist Runners up position in the Nationwide Quiz Contest “Inquisitive Minds”2018

It is rightly said that when one is truly passionate about one’s dream, the glory expands limitlessly. The gems of our school, RoopamTaneja and Priyank proved their prowess by bagging Ist Runners up position by rapidly answering the questions in Nationwide Quiz Contest “Inquisitive Minds” featuring more than 3000 schools organized by Career Launcher on 18th November, 2018 at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The young quizzers qualified City, Regional and Semi-Final round thereby making it to the Nationals. The winners were felicitated with a cheque of rupees 75000/-. They made their alma mater proud and elated by winning the laurel.

District Junior Athletics Meet

Gurugram District Athletics Association organized District Junior Athletics Meet at Sports Academy, Pataudi on November 14, 2018. It was an Inter District Level Meet where our students participated with full gusto and grabbed a few prizes. Manya Bhardwaj (IX), Nistha (IX) and Arushi (VII) bagged First, Second and First Positions respectively in Shot Put; Manya Bhardwaj (IX) and Nistha (IX) secured First and Second Positions respectively in Discus Throw and Saransh (IX) finished the feat of 400m race by clinching the Second Position.

Manya, Arushi and Saransh have been selected for 16th National Inter District Junior Athletics Meet that would be held in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh from December 1 to 3, 2018.
