Welcome Assembly for Middle Wing

Each day is an opportunity for a fresh start, offering us the potential for new opportunities and a whole world of possibilities. With enthusiasm and anticipation, students of the Middle Wing returned to school for a new session. On Tuesday, April 04, 2023, the students of Class VIII D hosted a Special Assembly in the JD Hall to welcome the students. The assembly began with a prayer seeking the blessings of the Almighty. Middle Wing Incharge, Ms. Anshu Malika Kumar, gave a speech highlighting the importance of education and the role of the school in shaping the future of the students. She also emphasized the need for discipline and dedication in achieving academic success. The teaching teachers also welcomed the students and made them feel comfortable. The assembly featured a range of elements such as news, thought, pledge, significance of the week, words to enhance vocabulary, an inspiring speech, a short poem and a motivational song on starting anew. To make the assembly more engaging, the students all together tapped their feet to the resonance of the song ‘I CAN DO IT’. A brief orientation towards the end focused on the importance of dedication, sincerity and collaboration in achieving academic success.

The welcome assembly was a great way to start the academic year with energy and enthusiasm. It brought together the entire school community and set the tone for a successful year ahead. Introduction:

The welcome assembly was conducted to welcome the students back to school after the summer break. It was a great opportunity for the school administration, teachers, and staff to share their excitement and enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year.

 Opening Speech:

The assembly started with a warm welcome by the school principal. The principal gave a speech highlighting the importance of education and the role of the school in shaping the future of the students. He also emphasized the need for discipline, hard work, and dedication in achieving academic success.

 Special Guests:

The school administration had invited a few special guests to address the students. The guests included the local MP and a renowned author who shared their experiences and motivated the students to aim high and work towards their goals.

 Entertainment:

The assembly also included various entertainment performances by the students. There were musical performances, dance performances, and a skit that conveyed the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

 Awards and Recognition:

The assembly also provided an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the students. The top-performing students from the previous academic year were awarded certificates and medals. The teachers and staff were also recognized for their contributions to the school.

 Closing Speech:

The assembly ended with a closing speech by the school principal. He thanked the guests, teachers, and students for their participation and urged the students to make the most of the opportunities provided by the school.

 Conclusion:

Overall, the welcome assembly was a great success. It provided an excellent opportunity for the school administration, teachers, staff, and students to come together and set the tone for the upcoming academic year. Primary Wing_Welcome Assembly_Grade IV & V

Morning Assembly brings entire school together as a family. It is the beginning of each day which establishes a positive tone for teachers and students. With the commencement of another year 2023-2024, the teachers from Grade IV & V have hosted the Special Welcome Assembly to extend a hearty welcome to the students and to mark the beginning of the new session.  

WELCOME ASSEMBLY CLASS IX and XI

To quote Oprah Winfrey, ‘Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe.’ The minute you decide to do what you love to do, you have made a life plan for yourself and chosen a career path. The need is to identify your passion, pursue your dreams and meticulously set goals.

A hallmark of Blue Bells’ education is the modelling of a cheerful openness to life and accepting the unexpected challenges that might come our way. There is a concerted effort to involve students in the broader streams of life outside the classroom so that they are able to relate their learnings to day-to-day life activities.

To provide a comprehensive environment that stimulates the multi-dimensional development of each child, a special welcome assembly was organized for Class IX and XI students on 3^rd April 2023 in the JD Hall. The morning assembly began on a pious note with the prayer followed by a motivation song by the school choir. Mr Santosh Thapliyal, Discipline In-Charge briefed children about various rules and regulations which are to be religiously followed in the school. The Principal, Ms Alka Singh expressed that life is a beautiful journey and asked the students to go forth and embrace future with open arms, and enthusiastically pursue their own life.

GRADE III_WELCOME ASSEMBLY

“A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step.”

With the New Session , every moment is a fresh beginning. In a student’s life, a new beginning is all about moving to a new class, making new friends, meeting new teachers, getting new books and exploring new paths of learning. Life's not about expecting, hoping and wishing, it's about doing, being and becoming. With this thought, the first day of Grade III students began on a happy and exciting note. To seek divine blessings and to give an auspicious start to our new session, the newcomers of Grade III were welcomed with a 'Tilak' on their foreheads. A Havan was also performed to surge in the positive thoughts, words, and actions which pave the way to success. All the students and teachers actively participated in the Havan Ceremony. In sync with this, a special assembly was conducted to welcome Grade III students by the teachers. The assembly started by seeking the blessings of Almighty followed by a Welcome Song by the teachers. The little Blue Bellians were welcomed by their teachers through an enthralling Dance and Zumba performance and a beautiful Song. The story telling session was the highlight of the assembly. An array of items was hosted for the students creating a splendid aura of magnificent erudition.The students enjoyed different acts performed by their teachers that kept them captivated and enthralled throughout the assembly. Primary Wing In charge, Ms Pallavi Sinha welcomed the students with her remarkable words and showered her blessings on the students for their bright future. She motivated them to spare no stone unturned for their future endeavours. she also applauded the efforts of teachers in putting up a spectacular assembly.

Middle Wing Orientation

Determination and perseverance are absolutely vital to developing a true education--rarely, if ever, do we learn the most valuable lessons in the first few steps of the journey.

The dedication to education is shared by committed parents, students and teachers. For children, parents, and instructors, starting up good communication with parents has always had favourable results. On March 25, 2023, the school arranged an orientation programme for the parents of Grades VI- IX to acquaint them with their role as partners in the advancement of their ward. Ms Alka Singh, Principal in her address told that the teaching-learning process helps the youngster realise their potential and accomplish goals.

The parents received updates on the curriculum, the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of the students, the clubs, the development of life skills and the students’ code of conduct. The session also covered assessment criteria for the forthcoming academic session 2023-24. The introduction of a new teaching methodology that incorporates STEAM Education, blended learning, flipped classrooms, and project-based pedagogy was also explained to the parents. The staff members addressed the gathering by outlining the goal and outstanding initiatives undertaken under the school's Health and Wellness Program, which focuses on the holistic development of every child. The Learning and Development Unit revised its programmes for students' academic development.

The orientation programme really helped the parents understand the educational plan the school uses to guarantee that their children improve in their learning. The meeting came to a close with an open house where the school staff actively participated and answered questions from parents. The orientation programme proved that parents and teachers can work together to mould a child's life such that he or she can successfully and confidently face any obstacle.

The parents were acquainted with the school curriculum, students’ achievements in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas, clubs, life skills training, and code of conduct for the students. The parents were also briefed about the earnest efforts of the school for the socio-emotional empowerment along with cognitive and ethical development of the students through well-regulated Health & Wellness Programs a part of the school curriculum. The session closed by addressing the queries of the parents well attended by the school team.

GROUP WORK WITH STUDENTS

ADEPT- A Program for Enhancing Life Skills is a specialized initiative under the Health & Wellness Programme of Blue Bells Group of Schools. The Program has been developed to enhance psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills in all stakeholders to make informed decisions,

Health &Wellness Programme has always believed in the ideology that every child is born to blossom. When children flourish with positive values, they are more likely to listen to their conscience. They can distinguish between right wrong and learn how to be happy. It also helps them to make right choices instead of just imitating their friends or following the changing fads or being influenced by the impact of social media.

To prepare students to believe in their own ability and to take positive steps for their benefit, Team ADEPT, under the leadership of Dr Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health &Wellness) Blue Bells Group of schools conducted a two-day group work session with each section of grade V students in Blue Bells Model School.

Through different strategies and activities, the impact of usage of bad language, and its implication on each one was taken up during the first session. Students were asked to recall some ground rules and further discussion was taken up on why these rules were established by them and what consequences one can face when rules are not followed. The session concluded with some sharing by students on ways and methods they could follow to remember and reinforce ground rules. Each one displayed their ground rules on beautiful flowers and butterfly cut outs.

‘When we take responsibility of our words and actions, we build better relations.’ The second day session began on learning to identify the relationships around us and how to build relationships effectively. Through hands-on activities and discussions, students creatively expressed different emotions and shared their feelings to make their relationship bonds strong and special. To celebrate and define the strength of friendship, students delved deeper into their thoughts and comprehended the qualities their best friends possess which makes them so loved and respected. Students were made to introspect that by good words, thoughts, qualities, act of kindness and respect for each one can fill their invisible buckets and also at the same time, by being unkind to others and making other people feel bad one dips in other people's buckets and empties their own. To reinforce the concept, students displayed their bucket fillers and bucket dippers on the soft board as a reminder. At the end of the session, each one expressed that a simple act of kindness and goodness can contribute in making the world a better place for each one of us.

The session was indeed very lively and compressible. Students were thoroughly engaged during both the days and enjoyed every moment and what was taught. Each student was made to feel comfortable, safe, and respected during the sessions. The strategies discussed helped each one to create a positive learning space.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR MIDDLE WING AND SENIOR WING 2023-24

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, enthused students and devoted parents. Initiating positive communication with parents has always proved to yield encouraging result for students, parents and teachers.To familiarize the parents as partners in the progress of their ward, the school organized Orientation Programme for the parents of classes X and XII on March 6, 2023. The parents were given an insight into the teaching - learning transaction which supports the child in realising his potential and achieving his objectives.

The parents were updated with the school curriculum, students’ achievements in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas, clubs, life skills’ training and code of conduct for the students. Assessment criteria throughout the session was discoursed. The parents were also briefed about the inclusion of new teaching approach which includes STEAM Education, Blended Learning, Flipped Classroom and Project based pedagogy. The faculty members addressed the meeting by giving an outline of the vision and remarkable endeavours taken under the Health and Wellness Program of the school which focuses on the all round development of each and every child. The initiatives taken by the Learning and Development Cell for the academic growth of students were updated. The orientation programme indeed helped the parents to comprehend the curriculum strategy being followed in the school to ensure fruitful learning progression of their ward. The session closed with an open house session wherein parents’ queries were well attended by the school team.The orientation programme testified the fact that together parents and teachers can shape  a child’s life so that he/she can overcome any hurdle successfully  and with reliance.

CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” Abraham Lincoln A ‘Stream Selection and New Age Career’ counselling session was organized for the students and parents. The keynote speaker was Ms.  Toolika Krishna, a certified and qualified ‘Career Success Expert’ from Launch My Career.  She introduced new-age career options covering vocational careers, skill-based careers, and careers that go beyond familiar streams along with a range of courses. She made class X students understand their aptitudes, interest, and skills while selecting their streams. The session ended with an interaction wherein parents’ and students’ queries were well attended. Today’s event testified the fact that together parents and teachers can shape a child’s life so that he/she can overcome any hurdle successfully .
