When  a student graduates from school, he takes a bag full of memories which become his strength in the coming years. Donning the cap and the graduation gown is a moment of pride for the teachers, parents and certainly the students.

Blue Bells Model school organized an online Citation Ceremony on September 18, 2021  to acknowledge the talents of outgoing students of class XII, session 2020-21 and motivate them to hone their skills and prosper with time.The occasion commenced with the school song, diya lighting and swaraswati vandhana which created a perfect ambience to invoke divine blessings. A self- composed poem recitation by Riddhi Jain on the theme ‘Determination’ inspired the students to achieve the impossible by putting forth their earnest efforts. Each student was felicitated with a Citation during the ceremony that highlighted their specific proficiency and achievements of the yester years. The Director of the school addressed the gathering by sharing her words of wisdom and blessing the students to do their best in the future and become an exemplary figure for others.The concluding video presentation with the images of the outgoing students in their graduation gown and cap bore a live testimony of a beautiful emotional journey of their citation and graduating from school.

Academic Award Ceremony ‘Felicitation’ Classes X & XII

‘Remarkable accomplishment is always heralded by the preparedness to attain excellence.

Achievement is a tradition at Blue Bells and the students of the school strive consistently to prove their mettle and acumen in every sphere. To congratulate and honour the students who notched exceptional results in Class X and XII Board Exams Session 2020-21, a virtual Award Ceremony ‘Felicitation’ was hosted on 10^th September, 2021. The occasion was presided over by honourable Director , Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Blue Bells Group of Schools. The event commenced by respectfully invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati with a soulful rendition of a song. This was followed by an impassioned recitation of  a self-composed Hindi poem and a rhythmic presentation of a group dance. An interactive session with the School Toppers and Stream Toppers proved to be an encouraging and enriching learning experience for the junior students.

In her inspiring address to the audience, Director Madam, congratulated the academic achievers for their unswerving efforts in achieving their goals and opined that the students should always remain self- motivated.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Alka Singh, the Principal urged the students to always remember the values they have ingrained at school. She blessed them for their future plans and applauded the efforts of all the teaching fraternity. The Award Ceremony was held amidst much happiness, cheer and applause. The joyous event ended with a vote of thanks by the Senior Wing Coordinator, Mr. Mohd. Suhail.

Swachhta Pakhwada (Cleanliness Drive Programme)

Cleanliness is an important quality of life. In fact, it is a habit which is often considered just next to godliness. Cleanliness is a habit not related to the wealth of a person, rather it is a habit which depicts the qualities a person is enriched with. To make the students aware of such a necessary quality of life, CBSE came up with Swachhta Pakhwada Activities for the students. Our students took these activities with full gusto and participated in the activities with enthusiasm. During the duration of these fifteen days the students took cleanliness pledge, they also took part in various activities to promote the importance of cleanliness. The teachers shared their viewpoint with the students and made them aware about the importance of the week. The students spoke at length on the importance of hand washing, hygiene and social distancing. They created presentations professing the dos and don’ts of social distancing. They wrote impressive slogans and created placards to spread the word around, not only this they gave away hygiene bags to the community helpers. They made DIY masks and gave them to the ones who were in need. They made badges for themselves as a token of appreciation. Towards the end of the pakhwada the students became aware and educated those who were in close connection with them.

EXAMINATION ORIENTATION

‘AN UPDATE ON CBSE EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION PEDAGOGY’

Blue Bells Model School has always believed in keeping its flagship high with a clear vision of any new updation in the realm of education. Parent-teacher collaboration focusses on the modification of student’s performance and to ensure their best academic performance. In pursuance of the same, the school organized an Examination Orientation ‘An Update on CBSE Examination and Evaluation Pedagogy’ for the parents and students of classes IX-XII. The faculty members of the Examination Department hosted the webinar and updated the parents as well as students regarding the latest CBSE examination and evaluation pattern. The new pedagogy formulated by the Board was systematically and meticulously discussed in the webinar which included the method of Term Examination and Internal Assessment criteria.The orientation programme indeed helped the parents to comprehend the evaluation strategy to be followed in the school to confirm the students’ rewarding learning advancement.?The session closed with an open house session wherein parents’ queries were well attended by the school fraternity. 

AWARD CEREMONY – CLASSES IX AND XI SESSION 2020-21

Discipline is the new guiding force behind every dream and every challenge that a student requires to reach his or her goal in life and every student in Blue Bells Model School strives hard to reach that pinnacle of success. The excellence achieved by the gifted, goal-orientated and committed students of the school was celebrated and the students were given due recognition in the Award Ceremony on August 28, 2021.The academic winners of classes IX & XI for the session 2020-21 were heartily felicitated. The auspicious occasion commenced on a welcome note to the management, parents and students. The rendition of the school song followed by the mellifluous presentation of the Saraswati Vandana and the lighting of the diya set up a peaceful ambience in the ceremony. This was followed by the message from our revered Director ma’am, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati. She showered her blessings on the students for their exceptional achievement and urged them to strive for excellence.A self-composed Hindi poem was recited by Niharika of IX B that delighted the august gathering. The ‘Award Ceremony’ was held amidst much cheer and applause as the beaming students of classes IX and XI received a lot of appreciation for their diligence and industrious efforts.A scintillating dance was presented invoking peace on Earth which added to the joy and cheered the guests and students alike.Principal of the school, Ms. Alka Singh addressed the gathering and congratulated the students for their stupendous success. The ceremony was wrapped up with the vote of thanks by Ms. Anjali Nagpal, senior faculty member.

ACADEMIC AWARDS CEREMONY SESSION 2020-21 CLASSES VI – VIII

“Never underestimate your strength, you were born for a purpose and are blessed with the power to achieve it” Bluebells Model School, Gurugram organized the Academic Awards Ceremony, 2020-21 for Classes VI – VIII on August 28, 2021 to felicitate the budding talents whose persistent quest for success, dedication sincerity and perseverance led them to surpass excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic activities. This ceremony is a focal point of the school calendar where academic excellence is celebrated and recognised. The occasion was graced by the Vice Chairman Mr. Ashish Gulati, Director Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, all members of the Senior management, teachers, students and parents. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp to mark the beginning of the auspicious day. This was followed by the melodious rendition of the Saraswati Vandana. The sublime energy of rhythm and melody enthralled the audience. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director Bluebells Group of Schools, motivated the students and encouraged them to perform better in the next academic session. She appreciated the efforts of the students on this momentous occasion and viewed that imparting quality education to children has always been a challenge and more so during this Pandemic. In her address to the audience, she advised students to remain self- motivated even if they are not achievers. After the speech, the school anthem instilled joy and fervour amongst all present. Students were felicitated for their academic achievements and punctuality. A mesmerising puppet pageantry was showcased by the students. In her inspiring address the Principal Ms Alka Singh, appreciated the students as COVID warriors for their hard-work during the Pandemic. She went on to remind them to continue to uphold the values that are such an integral part of the institution. She appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the faculty for their overall performances and wished them to come through with flying colours in future too. The jubilant event culminated with a Vote of thanks by the Middle Wing Incharge, Ms Anshu Malika and a video on Nature and its beauty.  It was indeed a proud moment not only for the recipients of the awards but also for their Parents who had been invited to partake in the glory of their wards’ success. It was a day to celebrate.    

INSIGHT INTO RESEARCH PAPER

Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate all that comes under one’s observation in life. To understand this statement, the school organized an informative webinar, ‘Insight into Research Paper’ for IX, X and XI and XII Science Stream students. The main objective of the webinar was to give a fair idea to the students on how to write research paper. Guest Speaker Dr. Vandana Gupta was an alumnus from Blue Bells Model School. She is now a specialist in Independent Environment and Climate Change with fifteen years of expertise in Scientific Research and Management. Dr.Vandana started her session with the explanation of her research Mitigation Methane Emission in Rice with resource Conserving Technologies.She showed her primary data with pictures and then explained very systematically ‘Why do we need to learn how to write a research paper?’ She addressed the students very systematically by emphasizing on the structure of research paper which includes introduction of thesis statement, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, parenthetical notations, reference, appendices and conclusion through varied impressive slides. The webinar blended with a questionnaire round was an inspirational and enriching learning experience for all the young Blue Bellians.

BBMUN 2021 - ‘ BLUE BELLS FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION AND TRANSFORMATION‘

BLUE BELLS MODEL SCHOOL HOSTED  BBMUN 2021 - ‘ BLUE BELLS FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION AND TRANSFORMATION‘

It is evident that the promotion of social innovation and transformation is a ginormous task, while being the most important aim of not only the United Nations, but every country, every administrative body, every society, every institution, and every individual looking forward to a post-pandemic world. With this goal in mind, we at Bluebells aim to create dialogue and collaborative learning on global challenges and finding innovative solutions. To create social innovation and transform the world we live in today into a world for the better. In pursuance of the same vision , the school  hosted the VI Chapter of  BBMUN 2021  on the theme,’ Blue Bells For Social Innovation and Transformation ’ on August 20 and 21 on a virtual platform.

The  Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony of the Mega event was Mr. Deepak Vohra , the special advisor to the Prime Minister of South Africa. Sir spoke at length about the role of youth in social innovation and transformation.  Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, esteemed Director , Blue Bells Group of Schools declared the Conference Open and congratulated the school team for organizing it dexterously. Ma’am also appreciated the theme chosen  –‘Social Innovation and Transformation’.   She wished all luck to  the delegates for two days of fierce debating .

Delegates  from all over the country were divided into eight committees, conventional and  unconventional , and they  deliberated  on Social Innovation and Transformation and also charted a resolution for the same. The Executive Board panel comprised of experienced MUN’rs who played an instrumental role in steering the young generation to fruitful work. Through BBMUN,the students were   provided a unique opportunity  to engage in productive dialogues and also develop strong bonds of camaraderie.

The Closing ceremony was graced with the presence of Mr. Akshay Sapre as the Chief Guest. He is a qualified Advocate practising as Counsel before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and Tribunals. The occasion was also blessed with the gracious presence of Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools. The result of the conference was declared and the Outstanding School Delegation Award was bagged by Amity International School, Sector 43, Gurugram and Best School Delegation Award was clinched by Modern School Barakhamba Road

The event proved to be an enriching experience for all the delegates as they exchanged innovative ideas and responded positively to their heart’s calling thereby ushering in a ‘golden age’ of hope and optimism. The event was the sincere endeavor of the school  to focus on concrete solutions and devise strategies for a safe  and secure world with social innovation and transformation’

75TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

‘MAY THE GLORY OF INDEPENDENCE DAY BE WITH US FOR EVER.’

To survive in peace and harmony, united and strong, we must have one nation, one flag. Thousands laid down their lives so that India, our motherland becomes free and liberated from the restraints of foreign trespassers. Let us salute their supreme commitment, allegiance and sacrifice. With this feeling of nationalism, Blue Bells Model School celebrated 75^th Independence Day with a lot of devotion and pride for the country. The honoured guests of the pious occasion were Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of BBGS and Gen. G.D. Bakshi SM, VSM. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of BBGS hoisted the national flag with a fervour of patriotism in her heart. The NCC cadets and House Captains marched elegantly creating the perfect ambience for the grand celebration.

Ms.Anshu Malika Kumar, the Middle Wing Incharge welcomed all the distinguished guests. The presentation of group song ‘Yaad karo kurbani…’by the school singers brought forth their immense devotion towards their motherland, India. Through a ‘Dance Drama’ on ‘Incredible India’ the students of Middle and Senior Wing took everyone decades back to feel the spirit of independence. The tiny tots of the Primary Wing presented an enthralling mass yoga, aerobics and recited beautiful poem on freedom fighters of India and enacted Jhansi Ki Rani to  prove their spirit of patriotism. To spread the message of peace, students also presented adance on ‘World Peace’ which added more vibrant colours and elation to the celebration.

 The senior students captivated everyone’s attention by reciting patriotic poem ‘Sipahi’ brimming with nostalgia where a soldier makes a promise to the motherland as well as to his parents and to all the other family members that he will come back but the mode can be different either he hoists the flag or he will come wrapped in the Tricolor flag. The honoured guest for the day Gen. G.D. Bakshi SM, VSM who is a retired Indian Army Officer addressed the students and appreciated the efforts put up by them. Through the mesmerizing cultural show it was well conveyed that our independence is a blessing which needs to be protected and preserved and that is possible only when we work in unison overshadowing any impediment on the way.

THE DESIGN CHALLENGE SERIES TWO

“We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe and for that, I am extremely grateful.” – Stephen Hawking

With this thought ‘The Design Challenge Series Two’ was organized on a virtual platform for the Middle Wing students of classes VI to X on 11th August 2021. The thought behind organising the challenge was to celebrate the great designs created by the young ‘Yuvapreneurs’.

Imagination is the unique human capacity to envision that which is not, and therefore the fountain of all invention and innovation. With this inspiring vision ‘The Design Challenge Series Two’ was planned. It is a platform for our young students to implore, explore and innovate in order to find new ideas and solutions inspired by the design thinking approach.

The activities and projects were planned to bring innovative ideas for finding real solutions and seamlessly introducing students to the design thinking process. When students learn to think like designers, they gain confidence and competence as creative problem-solvers. It is this power that enables them to think differently.

Our young ‘Yuvapreneurs’ showcased their creations under one platform during this challenge programme. Each ‘Yuvapreneur’ participated with enthusiasm and passion demonstrating their prototypes, ideas and solutions. They show cased their product designs /prototype layouts and the feasibility as to how the products can be made beneficial for humanity.

Empowering today's students become innovative thinkers is a serious goal endorsed by our School and focussed with this vision, our constant efforts are to build on experiential learning engagements to find creative ways for problem solving. With this vision and objective, THE DESIGN CHALLENGE activity was introduced last year and continues today with the same enthusiasm amongst our budding innovators in action.

Ms. Alka Singh, the Principal, believes in honing the skills of the students and providing various platforms to them. She appreciated the innovative designs of the prototypes presented by the ‘Yuvapreneurs’. The audience applauded the efforts of the students for coming up with such innovative ideas. This challenge involved active participation and consistent mentoring.
