Eco Club Activity-Primary Wing

“TO PLANT A GARDEN IS TO BELIEVE IN TOMORROW”

A sapling plantation activity was conducted today by the student members of Eco Club of Primary Wing, Blue Bells Model School. The activity was to acquaint the members of the club with the indispensible benefits of herbs in our daily life.

They enthusiastically took part in the activity by planting the saplings of herbs.    This activity was to reinforce the medicinal and culinary importance of herbs.

Today’s activity gave a hands on experience to the students and has left them anticipating for more exciting and educative activities to come.

Independence Day Celebration

The school celebrated Independence Day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion which infused the spirit of patriotism amongst the students. The Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, graced the occasion. The Indian tricolor was unfurled followed by March Past with the background rendition of Aarambh Hai Prachand. The NCC cadets and the whole school pledged to contribute in their little ways in making India a better place to live. The Head Girl, Yashika Sachdeva, welcomed the august gathering. The school choir set the pitch for the program with the group song 'Vishva Me Gunje Hamari Bharti'. Incredible India was depicted through a dance performance that showcased the life and philosophy of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The students of the Primary Wing performed Yoga with divine unanimity. The Savera students enthralled the audience with their performance. The highlight of the programmewas the enactment of the Indian freedom struggle - A Saga of Unsung Heroes. It urged today's generation to value the freedom we have secured after the sacrifices of many. The students also presented a fusion dance on 'Vande Matram'. This colourful presentation received much deserved applause from the audience present. Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, addressed the gathering. She appreciated the Blue Bellians for their magnificient performance. Keeping the fervor of Independence Day high she conveyed a message to the students to provide unconditional contribution in fulfilling the pledge taken at the beginning of the programme. The Head Boy, Lakshay Vohra, thanked the guests and the audience for their encouraging presence. 

Primary Wing Celebrates Janmashtami

“May the Love and Blessings of Lord Krishna fill our life with Happiness and Virtues on Janmashtami and Always.”

 We remember Lord Krishna on Janmashtami, which is the festival celebrated to mark his birth. The Primary Wing was filled with festive fervour as the students cheerfully involved themselves in the activities planned for the day. Class III students made crowns using decorative material and their creativity shined through amazing craft ideas. Students of Class IV made colourful pots with varied designs & the students of Class V wished each other with handmade greeting cards. All these activities helped in acquainting the students with Lord Krishna who is fervently worshipped on Janmashtami.

All the articles were displayed which enhanced the festive spirit throughout the day.

Friendship day

Friendship is:

A bond of love,

A medal of trust,

A golden thread that binds two hearts,

A feeling that keeps growing even when we are miles apart.

Friendship is not merely a relationship but a unique blend of affection, trustworthiness, care, respect and lots of fun. To strengthen this bond and make event special, students of class V A of Primary Wing, Blue Bells Model School presented their assembly on August 2, 2017. The assembly began with a talk on the significance of Friendship. A self composed poem on ‘Friendship’ by Pavki and Devas and ‘Dost Hai Anmol Ratna’ by Ashutosh was commendable. This was followed by a PPT on the role of friends in our life A dance performance by the students won a great applause from the audience.

The students of classes III-V made colourful friendship bands and exchanged them with each other. It was a fun filled activity that each student enjoyed.

Primary Wing Incharge, Ma’am Meenakshi Malhotra said that the true value of friendship lies in the companionship, caring and sharing that we seek in each other. 

Blue Bells Model Schools Honours Riya Yadav.

‘Celebrate your uniqueness’ was the message that students of class XI B conveyed through a thought provoking skit and mesmerizing English songs highlighting the beauty of being special. This set the backdrop of this special assembly in which Riya Yadav, a Blue Bells Model School alumna, was felicitated by the principal Mrs. Chandan Dhawan for conquering the formidable heights of Khardungla Pass on a Royal Enfield. Riya is the youngest Indian Girl to achieve a feat so extraordinary at a young age of 19.

Congratulating Riya Mrs. Dhawan said that she has set an example for fellow Blue Bellians to passionately follow their calling and explore their deepest potential.

Riya, in her motivational address, shared with the students how limitations are all in mind and how with determination, seemingly impossible things can be achieved with ease. She also added that holistic approach at school helped her explore her own self which added new dimensions to her personality.

The assembly concluded with honouring achievers who recently brought laurels in Theatre, Clay Modelling and Sports.

International Family Day

“Family is like branches of trees. Our lives may grow in different directions but our roots will stay as one.”

Home is like heaven on earth where we all feel secure within the family that resides in it.The unshakable bonds make it a stable and supporting home for people of all ages and binds all together. The Primary Wing of Blue Bells Model School celebrated this day with great eagerness.

Class IV B presented its assembly today on the theme Family: A true bonding. The highlights of the assembly were a talk on the importance of family, a poetic presentation ‘Family First’ followed by a song ‘Aasman ke chat pe’ and a vibrant dance sequence ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’. The solo performances, Guitar by Aryan Gupta IV B and Casio by Kanak Giri III C, were appreciated by one and all. The assembly stressed upon the values we learn within the family and how the relationships that blend with each other bring understanding between the members.

Respected Wing Incharge, Ma’am Meenakshi Malhotra, appreciated the students for their presentation and told the students that a family is a bond of safety, security and stability that we get because of our parents and that we should always care for them and respect them.

She also felicitated the students who won 1^st Private school sport District Skating Championship 2017-18 on 22^nd and 23^rd July 2017 and made our school proud. The winners were:

Best wishes to Tejasvi Chauhan III B and Noura V A who have qualified for ‘Under 11 Mini Roll ball national Skating Championship to be held from 28^th - 30^th July 2017 in Assam.

Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil is not the name of a far-off place,

Kargil is not the name of a high mountain ridge,

Kargil is a place of pilgrimage.

The students of Class VI D came up with the theme - ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ for their Class Assembly. A speech on the topic put across the message of pay homage to the brave soldiers on this day i.e. July 26, 2017.  Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26^th July every year in honour of the Kargil War’s Heroes. The students presented a skit showcasing the sacrifice of the soldiers for their motherland. A dance drama presented by the students skillfully conveyed that the war-heroes are the ones who gave their today for our better tomorrow. The Wing Incharge, Ms. Anshu Kumar Mallika and the Class Incharge Ms. Priya Bambhu also addressed the students and told them to pay due regards to the soldiers and to always keep in mind while we sit and relax in our houses there are thousands of soldiers standing for our safety on the border.

Senior Wing Award Ceremony

The academic achievers of classes VIII, IX and XI of session 2016-17 were felicitated in a special assembly on July 20, 2017. Amidst roaring applause and spotlight, the achievers received their honour from respected Principal Ms. Chandan Dhawan. The ceremony was duly complimented by the presentation of class XI A which was based on the life history of Nelson Mandela to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day.

We at Blue Bells keep emphasizing on the virtues of punctuality and regularity. This was the most befitting occasion to reward the students who achieved the feat of being present on all working days. Students were honored with the Full Attendance Award for being role models in regularity and punctuality. The Principal congratulated the students on the behalf of the Director and Management and urged them to convey her thanks to their parents for their tremendous contribution in bringing children to such level of excellence.

We can achieve anything if we set our mind to it. The students of Primary Wing, Blue Bells Model School carved a niche for themselves as ‘Academic Achievers’ in the session 2016-2017.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized to felicitate them and acknowledge their outstanding performance in academics. Respected Principal, Ma’am Chandan Dhawan and Primary Wing Incharge, Ma’am Meenakshi Malhotra honoured the students with the awards. Their faces beamed with joy as they received the prize.

Being punctual always brings glory and success to all those who practice it. Many of our students were onto the golden path of full attendance and and their endeavour and punctuality was applauded with the Full Attendance Award. They were also appreciated for maintaining regularity in their daily schedule of work.

The Principal congratulated the students and parents on behalf of Director Ma’am and the management for their achievement and showered her blessings for their future endeavours. 

Sapling Plantation – ‘Harit Gurugram – Ek Prayas 2017’

‘One who plants trees loves others beside oneself.’

The school believes in Green Earth, Green Planet and to keep this faith, ‘Harit Gurugram-Ek Prayas 2017’ was conducted in the school where students planted saplings. The plantation drive was headed by the esteemed guests Sri Parth Singh Chauhan – Rtd. Block Education Officer, Dr.Shushil Gupta – Rtd. Educationist, Ms.Meenakshi Saxena and Ms Bhavisha Buddhadeo - social workers from Harit Gurugram Team. Students showed enthusiasm in planting trees in the school premises. The slogans prepared by the students were meaningful and significant. They interacted with the guests and had an enriching experience. Ms. Anshu Malilka Kumar, Middle Wing Incharge, conveyed her message to the students by stating that one of the best gifts that a person gives to the future generation are trees. Ms. Chandan Dhawan, Principal of the school appreciated the students’ efforts and extended her heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests. She addressed the students by saying, ‘A child is a spontaneous observer of nature and it is the duty of everyone to help him see the nature in its full bloom.’
