The Power
of Kindness – A Celebration of Giving
On the
occasion of the 47th Founder’s Day, Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4,
Gurugram, organised a special donation drive centred around the inspiring theme
“The Power of Kindness.” The initiative aimed to instil the values of
empathy, compassion, generosity and social responsibility among students.
As part of
the drive, students and parents enthusiastically contributed essential items,
including grains, old clothes, bedsheets, stationery, water bottles and lunch
boxes. These contributions reflected the collective spirit of caring and
sharing within the BBMS community.
The school
donated clothes and bedsheets to Navjyoti Foundation, while grains were
contributed to Harmony House to support those in need. The initiative
provided students with a meaningful opportunity to understand that even small
acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone's life.
Through this
thoughtful endeavour, BBMS paid a heartfelt tribute to the vision and values of
its Founders, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing not just academically
accomplished individuals but also compassionate and socially conscious
citizens.
The
initiative beautifully echoed the belief that kindness is not merely an act
of giving; it is a way of life.
