Cyber
Awareness Session
The Cyber Awareness Assembly at Blue Bells Model School was
conducted by the Cyber Council members under the able guidance of Ms.
Anshuka Aneja, Associate Director, Information and Technology, Blue Bells Group
of School on 26th August 2025. The assembly served as an
enlightening platform to spread awareness about the rising threats of
cybercrime and the preventive measures students must adopt.
The session was graced by Mr. Prem, General Manager of Blue
Bells Group of Schools, and addressed by the Principal, Ms. Alka Singh, who
emphasised that being part of online confession groups is a punishable offence.
Students were familiarised with terms such as spyware, adware, eavesdropping,
and scams like WhatsApp hijacking. A thought-provoking speech by Arya Ojha of
Grade XI highlighted the importance of controlling screen time, while students
of Grades X and XI presented a skit on the negative impact of mobile addiction.
An interactive discussion was led by Cyber Council members Trisha Agarwal,
Bhumika Chakraborty, and Devanshi Gupta of Grade XI, sensitising peers about
Instagram confession pages, cyber safety tools, and responsible online
behaviour.
The session concluded with words of wisdom from the
dignitaries, reinforcing the importance of safe and responsible digital
citizenship.
