Doctors’ Day Celebration at Blue Bells
Model School
“Service to
humanity is the greatest form of service, and doctors live it every day.”
Under the aegis of the
Health & Wellness Programme, Blue Bells Model School celebrated Doctors’
Day to honour the selfless service unwavering commitment, and invaluable contributions of the
medical fraternity. To commemorate this significant day,
special assemblies were conducted in the Middle Wing and Primary Wing,
on July 3 and July 9, 2026.
The students of VII C and
VC presented a thoughtfully scripted
skit that highlighted the significance of Doctors’ Day and the indispensable
role of healthcare professionals in safeguarding lives and supporting
communities.
Through their performance, they portrayed doctors as
compassionate caregivers and true lifesavers who bring hope, healing, and
comfort during life's most challenging moments. The skit was
followed by a heartfelt poem, that beautifully expressed gratitude for the tireless dedication,
compassion, and service of doctors The assembly was further
enriched by the presence of the school doctor, Dr. Rekha Soni, along
with Nurse Jincy and Nurse Rosamma, who interacted with students
and shared valuable insights on First Aid Essentials and Monsoon
Health Tips.
As a token of appreciation, students presented
handmade cards to the school doctor and nurses, expressing their sincere gratitude
for their unwavering care, compassion, and dedicated service.
The special assembly concluded with an inspiring address
by the Wing Leaders, who applauded the commitment of healthcare professionals
and encouraged students to respect and value their contributions. They also emphasised
the importance of maintaining good health and adopting healthy lifestyle
practices. The special assembly was both meaningful and engaging, leaving the students with a deeper
appreciation for the medical fraternity and the vital role they play in
society.
