Session on Eye Donation Awareness
A special awareness session on the importance of eye
donation was organised for the students of the Senior Wing. The
session was held as part of the 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight,
organised in association with Niramaya Eye Bank and the Association
of Eye Donation International (AEDI). As part of the initiative, students
participated enthusiastically in a Poster-Making Competition, using
their creativity to spread awareness about eye donation and its power to give
the gift of sight. Dr Anu Pahuja, the resource person, sensitised the
students about the significance of eye donation and encouraged them to become
ambassadors of this noble cause. A heart-touching film on eye donation
was also screened, leaving the students deeply moved and inspired.
