Labour’s Day (Assembly by Class V A)
"All labour that uplifts
humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking
excellence." Martin Luther King Jr.
Labour
day is a tribute to the contributions that workers have made to the strength,
prosperity, and wellbeing of our community. In sync, Labour Day assembly was
conducted on April 30, 2026 by the students of Class V A. Students appreciated
the endless efforts of the workforce of the nation. The assembly began with the
resonance of the school prayer, followed by the pledge and rendition of the
school song. The thought of the day on the theme Labour Day was shared by a
student, which instilled the spirit of being grateful to all those who help us
in our day-to-day life.
A
rhythmic Song and Hindi poetic presentation on 'Importance of Labour' enchanted
everyone and it resonated with a lot of sensitivity towards the hard work of
the nation builders. With great zeal and fervour, the students presented a talk
emphasizing the importance of different labourers around us. In sync with this,
the students created beautiful cards and paper flower bouquets as a token of
gratitude for the support staff. They presented it to them and showed the value
of thankfulness towards them. They also served refreshing Roohafza and snacks
to all the support staff of the Primary Wing as a mark of their gratitude and
care.
The
assembly concluded with the words of wisdom of the Wing In charge – Ms.
Chandrani ma'am encouraging students to be respectful and acknowledge the
efforts of the different type of workers. The assembly was informative and
engaging. It provided students with valuable information about it.
