National Flag Day , Class Assembly

wind moves it; it flies with the last breath of every soldier who died
protecting it.”
A special morning assembly was conducted on 17
July 2026 by the students of Class
VII-D to commemorate National
Flag Day. The assembly commenced with the chanting of
the Gayatri Mantra, setting
a solemn and positive tone for the proceedings.
The programme continued with the Thought of the
Day, which encouraged students to uphold the values
and ideals of the nation. This was followed by the presentation of the news headlines, apprising the audience of
significant national and international events. The Word
of the Day segment further contributed to the
enrichment of the students’ vocabulary and language skills.
An informative video on the evolution of the
Indian National Flag was screened, highlighting the
history and significance of the Tricolour. The students then presented a
melodious group song,
expressing their love, respect, and pride for the nation.
A talk show was
subsequently conducted to spread awareness about the importance of the National
Flag and the values it embodies. The Class Teacher addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, encouraging
students to honour the National Flag and uphold the principles of unity,
patriotism, and respect.
The Middle Wing In-charge, Ms. Paramita, also guided the students on the significance of respecting the
National Flag and engaged them in an interactive discussion on how, as
responsible students and citizens, they can demonstrate respect and dignity
towards the Tricolour in their daily lives.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, which was rendered with great pride and reverence by all present.
