Class Assembly Conducted on ‘No Tobacco Day’
A special class assembly was
conducted on ‘World No Tobacco Day’ to spread awareness about the harmful
effects of tobacco consumption and to encourage students to adopt a healthy
lifestyle. The assembly was organized by the students of Class XII-B and XII-D on
12th May,2026 in the school JD hall.
The program began with the
morning prayer followed by a thought of the day highlighting the importance of
good health. Students delivered informative presentation on the dangers of
smoking and chewing tobacco, explaining how tobacco affects the lungs, heart,
and overall well-being. A short video was presented to showcase the ill effects
of tobacco addiction and the importance of saying “No” to tobacco.
The students also displayed
posters and slogans promoting a tobacco-free society. The Vice Principal and
Class Teacher addressed the gathering and motivated everyone to stay away from
harmful substances and spread awareness among family and friends.
The assembly concluded with a
pledge taken by all students and teachers to remain tobacco-free and support a
healthier environment. The program was informative, meaningful, and appreciated
by everyone present.
