BBMS PROUDLY HOSTS

SCHOOL CINEMA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (SCIFF) 2025

Celebrating Creativity and Learning at the International School Cinema Festival

“Cinema is a mirror by which we often see ourselves." — Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.

Cinema is a powerful medium that transcends boundaries, evokes emotions, and fosters understanding. It has the unique ability to educate, inspire, and connect individuals across cultures, making it an essential tool for learning and personal growth. Recognizing this, the Health & Wellness Program of Blue Bells Model School under the inspirational guidance of our mentor, Dr. Alka Saxena, hosted the School Cinema International Film Festival on November 20, 21, 27 and November 28, 2025 for students and parents.

The festival featured a variety of screenings and interactive sessions aimed at highlighting the power of cinema as a medium for learning and personal growth. It provided an exceptional opportunity for students of Primary Wing, Middle Wing and Senior Wing, as well as parents of Primary Wing students, to immerse themselves in a world of visual storytelling.

SCIFF 2025 had a befitting start with a warm welcome to all the Parents by the Vice Principal, Ms. Anshu Malika Kumar. She emphasized the value of School Cinema in enhancing education through storytelling and how this initiative enriches students' learning experiences by fostering creativity, empathy, and cultural awareness, making it an integral part of the school's holistic educational approach. Parents enjoyed the films and found them relatable, as they connected them to their personal experiences with their children and the emotions they felt when their children reached out to them.

Students and teachers enjoyed a carefully curated selection of international films, workshops, and activities that not only entertained but also educated, promoting teamwork, creativity, and cultural appreciation.

The International School Cinema Festival was more than just a film festival; it was a celebration of the art of storytelling, a testament to the power of creativity, and a platform for students to explore and express themselves.
