Workshop by 5 Haryana Battalion NCC
“Fitness is
not about being better than someone else, it’s
about being
better than you used to be.”
A vibrant Zumba Workshop was organized under the Khelo India
– Fit India Movement at Blue Bells Model School on 20th August 2025.
The session was designed to promote physical fitness, joy, and discipline among
young cadets through dance-based exercises.
The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of
around 150 cadets from 12 school's along with ANOs from various schools,
of Gurugram out of which 50 cadets were from Blue Bells Model School.
Trained instructors conducted the session with high-energy routines combining
music, rhythm, and aerobic movements. The lively atmosphere inspired cadets to
adopt fitness as a way of life, making exercise both enjoyable and impactful.
The workshop not only enhanced stamina but also spread awareness about healthy
living, in alignment with the vision of the Fit India Campaign.
The event concluded with words of appreciation from Lt. Col
Ravindra Kumar Raghav (Adm. Officer 5 Haryana Battalion NCC Gurugram), Ms Anshu
Malika Kumar, Vice Principal, Blue Bells Model School), the instructors and
school authorities, encouraging cadets to continue their fitness journey with
zeal and dedication.
